Horrible horrible horrible! $1200 for less than 1 ft of pvc replaced. Lied about hours. Manager was rude and didn't make it right.

The pipes were frozen and they came out and wouldn’t look at it until I signed a form saying I had to pay for them the first hour and I already know I had to pay a $75 traveling fee. No one ever told me that. It cost me $242 and he didn’t even check anything. I was aware that it was a $219 hour charge and I said plus the $75 or including the $75 and he says its plus. So it was actually in the 290 something. We’ve been here for 8 years and it’s never frozen. So I thought there was a screw loose or something that he could fix otherwise I would have just said leave. They didn’t came the day I called, they came out after. The guy tried to be my friend and he called the people to put through my money and when she was on the line, I recognize her as the person I talked to and I am yelling in the background “you never told me the one hour minimum” and she said to him “she just stopped listening after I told her the $75 fee.

Initially called and set up appointment for septic to be pumped then sent septic system map via email to Roto Rooter night before appointment. Driver showed up without map to locate, I had brought copy however, still unable to locate was told need to schedule a tech to locate. Thankfully not charged for 1st visit- Fair- Next day a tech showed up to locate and eventually did, had to remove rock and dig eventually found cement cover to 1000gal septic. Charged $636.00 for that visit breakdown: mileage $150 for the round trip drive (Property was 1hr from town) $ 240 to locate and $196 for 1st hr dig. Then the pump truck arrived, I was charged again a travel charge $ 150 and $200 for pumping $220 for disposal also $125 for certification of septic tank Total $780! The bill was just over $1400. The workers were professional and did excellent work thanks Frank and Travis! However believe the cost was way too much for the service. I think the 1st day the pump driver should have had the equipment to locate and I wouldn't have had to pay for 2 people to make 2 round trips plus believe the cost was too much for service I was qouted. My bill was just over $1400.

I called Roto-Rooter in Spokane to pump my septic. They are in the middle of a move and have several new staff members in their office. This caused scheduling to be a bit of a challenge. They showed up late both days they were scheduled to be there but did make it on the day. They did call and reschedule one day we had previously agreed on. This was not a big deal. I was assured that the tardiness was due to the office relocating and the scheduling staff becoming accustomed to the software they use. Once the field workers and techs got to the site, things moved quickly. Most of the personnel involved were professional and new their trade well. I feel like the job was in very skilled hands. The price was agreeable. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Roto-Rooter!

Rick provided great service and he explained everything that he was doing and why.

It wasn't very good. I had a faucet to change and they charged me 400 dollars to replace a faucet. The only problem with the service was the cost of the service. I won't use them again. Quality was good. I wasn't just happy with the price. Responsiveness was good. Punctuality was also good. Professionalism was very good.

I requested licensed plumber Derrick Cunningham as he has been to my house on a job before. I find his work very good and like his work ethic and professionalism. He told me 2 yrs ago that a new WH would be a lot more efficient. I waited til now to have one installed. It is 80 gal so quite heavy but he was able to handle it. It is American made so I am thrilled with that. I like dealing with Roto Rooter as I can depend on their reasonable response time and the work always gets done.

They repaired a tankless water heater which they installed six years ago. Basically, their technical knowledge is lacking in regards to tankless water heaters, and they had to rely on information from the manufacturer, which, for some unknown reason, only I was able to obtain. I have used this particular technician many times in the past, and would use him again, as he is very professional and helpful. Unfortunately, the hourly charges are in excess of $160.00, which adds up quickly...

The sewer line now has what is called a " belly" in it, ( a sagging area 11 feet long that traps water). They hit the house with their backhoe. They left the yard in a mess. They hit the water service and bent the pipe, causing it to pull the water meter against the basement wall. They didn't bed the sewer pipe correctly, the main reason for the " belly" that developed. When I contacted them on 9/4/2013, they came and ran a snake down the 4 inch pipe. They wanted to charge me another $270 to run a sewer cam. I decided against it, then contacted another contractor, who gave me a neighborhood & veteran discount. That's when I learned how bad of job Roto-Rooter had done. If Roto-Rooter had ran the sewer camera all the way to the 6 inch pipe, they would have found the real problem. They also dug up the sidewalk, which they didn't need to do. I have emailed them asking for a full refund. They haven't responded.

Provider was responsive immediately to my first call. They were able to send someone out that day at a time that was convenient to me. The young serviceman was professional and friendly. He worked hard to keep his tome at a minimum so as not to have to charge me more. He was very clear in sharing expected costs and potential problems. He kept me apprised of findings throughout his work. He fixed the problem and the business also offers a six month warranty.

I asked them to solve a friend's plumbing problem: a one-bathroom residence with backed-up plumbing and bad odors. The problem had become increasingly worse and the toilet could not be used for bowel movements. I decided to use Roto-Rooter because it specialized in clearing lines and because of Angie's List reviews. I would pay for the service but could not be there personally although the resident would be present. The helpful woman who took my information scheduled the work for the same day in the afternoon. She gave a clear explanation of possible charges. I did not stress the urgency of the problem, but she made it a priority. (Thank goodness!) The service man was not able to make it until about 6 p.m. He was able to clear the line but had to roto-root quite a ways out. He told me the job was rather difficult and that the lines were very rough on the inside and would need replacing sooner than later. He wanted to make sure the owner of the residence knew. (The blockage was paper products probably causedd by my friend's elderly mother who had recently moved out.) I was very grateful that the job was completed that same day, even though it was late, cold, dark, and miserable. Since I had called early in the day I was not charged an overtime rate! I would still give them an "A" for punctuality because plumbing jobs are unpredictable. The office woman had not discussed how I would be billed, and the plumber had to call me for credit card information. I had to call them to find out they were running late. I asked them to mail me the bill but they never did. Overall I was thrilled to have the problem taken care of so quickly and professionally!

Roto-Rooter did an okay job. It was not horribly disappointing, but not excellent. They go the job done.

My sister-in-law referred me to them. They were amazing. I was real pleased with him. I called and she called and told me when he was going to arrive. He arrived on time. He was clean and tidy. He was helpful with other things that I needed to do. He got my drain working great. I would recommend them. I was using a different drain cleaner and he said I was killing my pipes. So he highly recommended the Roto-Rooter pipe cleaner. The price was average. I called three other people and they were all about the same price. The quality was excellent.

I called for an estimate, and Derrick was here within two hours. Not only did he replace the outside faucet, but he also fixed the four other "projects" that I've never gotten around to calling anyone about. (Including a shower faucet fixture that a different company's plumber put in backwards!) I can't say enough. Derrick was quick, professional, and did not waste any time in getting the jobs done. The price was very reasonable too. I will never use any other plumbing company. Period.

Very prompt service from the first phone call. Mar the technician was very personable and completed the job in a timely manner, and that was when it went down hill. After finishing and collecting the check, and leaving the house, I went to let my 2 elderly cats out of the room where they had been contained, only to discover that the technician had left the back door and screen door standing wide open, allowing my cats to escape. I finally managed to capture them after 1 hour of searching in the freezing cold. I made numerous calls to complain to the manager and was ignored, constantly and rudely told by the office staff, Olga and Courtney, that the manager Ray was unavailable. I finally was rudely told by Courtney to stop calling. That there was nothing that they would do as there had been no great loss, and that it did not matter. I find this company's customer service to be very poor and their attitude to the safety of their customer's pets, property and well being to be of little or no concern to them.
