Great job!! R&R scheduled a guy to come out the very next day from the initial call to their office. The serviceman they sent was reasonably punctual, extremely knowledgeable, and quite friendly to boot. After he identified the problem (quickly at that), he took the time to explain the issue so it could be avoided in the future, and then looked the system over to see if everything else was okay. I highly recommend R&R.

A technician was here within about 3 hours of calling. It took him only a few minutes to determine the problem. He left to get the second part he needed and it was all fixed up and running like new within about 90 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

I contacted R & R Heating to come to my home remodel and consult with me on options for switching from my antique oil furnace to another system. Their phone contact information as published proved to be unavailable. I was able to make an appointment via email - which required several back and forth contacts to find a suitable time for them and for me. I found this to be inefficient and time consuming. Once the appointment was made, the representative/salesman showed up on time and spent about 45 minutes at the house discussing options with me and asserting the high standards and professionalism of R & R Heating. I asked him to get back to me with some general ballpark costs on certain options we discussed. Nothing was out of the ordinary or outside the scope of their business. I had the same discussion previously with another heating contractor who got back to me in a timely fashion with good info. After about 2 weeks I emailed the rep that I had dealt with and asked what info he had for me. He wrote back and thanked me for reminding him.That was about 2 weeks ago and I have yet to receive a response. At this point, I don't care what their response is. I've moved on and will be hiring a company with more concern with how their customers/potential customers are treated. This would have been a significant project - i.e. an entire heating system for a house - not an annoyance project. With travel to and from the job site as well as time spent with their rep.I wasted 1/2 a day of my time out of my own work schedule. I'd recommend being cautious about dealing with this company.

I was really pleased that Justin was willing to talk to me about my heater, what the problem could be and about a few things that I could try on my own to fix it. Since he doesn't make any money by giving out free advice, I feel like he really cares about his customers. My heater is working for the moment, but when it stops working, I'm going to call these guys for sure!

Central air conditioning unit quit working. Contacted R & R and had appointment within 30 minutes. Jonathan was the technician providing the service on our air conditioning unit. He arrived on time and was in and out in less than an hour. Very professional and answered my questions thoroughly. He performed diagnostic test on the unit and explained to me in layman's terms what the reading meant. He was very professional and had a great customer service attitude. Good experience all the way around.

He assessed the A/C and said it was the most common issue where a tube needed replaced. He replaced the part and it was up and running in 30 minutes. I don't know a lot about it but it seemed reasonable and it's now working. The repairman was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable.

After describing to the technician that it looked like we had a power bump while we were gone on vacation, he had a good idea on what the problem could be and was right on the money. After opening up the compressor cover you could see that the capacitor was bulging and was bad. He had one on his truck and within 15 minutes we were up and running again. I was impressed with his knowledge of A/C systems and that he did only the work required and not try to sell us on unnecessary repairs. Good job guys!

Called R&R this morning and was surprised they could send someone to look at our balky heat pump the same day. Service man arrived within the time frame promised. He proved to be a pleasant and skillful HVAC mechanic. We were up and running after a tear-down of the fan motor mount and troubleshooting a frozen relay that was not easy to locate. Absolutely first class service at a very reasonable cost!

It was 95 degrees out and it was to much for the old air conditioner, Justin arrived and went right to work and had it up and running in about an hour. Justin was very professional, put his little booties on every time he came into the house, and explained everything he was doing. I paid a little more for after hours, but it was so worth it, I'm beyond happy with Justin and R&R Heating and Air Conditioning, I highly recommend this company!

Work in the beginning was a little bit off and we had to bring every thing back to code because it was the 1982 which was the original so we had to take care of that and they under sized the air handlers and we to through riveting and the docking unit still had to be insulated so it has been mediocre, they installer were top notch. We did not need the errant but the engineer said we do need it . They were definitely higher but it was worth it.

They do a great quote, they fix their time and that's what I really like. You know exactly what they're gonna do before they start. It was pretty expensive but I think for what I got it was a good value.

They were the most responsive of the three companies I contacted. Their price was fair.

They were extremely courteous, including cleaning up everything they did. They performed a comprehensive check of my heating system and air flow through my house and provided a quote for improvement as well as adding air conditioning. As a result of their work, my heating system was greatly improved and the air conditioning system works great. The house feels much warmer now and the system runs quieter.

Great service! They showed up right when they said they would first thing in the morning. The guys were very professional. I even felt comfortable leaving the house for a little while with my kids, to try and give them little peace to work. They said they would be here most of the day, but were done by 1 or 1:30, which was awesome. When they were done, one of the guys took me around and showed me all they had done and explained how to take care of the unit, and all that needed to be done inspections. Overall, they were excellent, I'm really happy we went with this company. When the city came to inspect the work done i overheard them saying how much they loved this company because they always do such a nice job. It was very comforting.

This system failed after 8 years, we have had R & R techs here several times and each visit leads to more problems. The techs were pleasant but I am unsure of their abilities. A 20 year compressor failed after 8 years, then a thermal expansion valve froze, now the hot water recirculating system exploded due to high pressure. The techs requested private conversations while working on the system which leads me to believe they needed help or reported previous improper installations. Two competitors have lead me to believe that R & R does their work in a way to require future increased maintenance. The scheduler has been rude but I have been also after 4 months of headaches. We have also incurred $500 hundred of additional expense for electric emergency heat while the problems are not solved (basically baseboard heat) in a 5000 sq.ft. house. We have no confidence in them and the problems are not resolved yet.

We purchased our home 1 month ago, and the furnace had been serviced approx 1 month prior to that, with light usage in the interim as the weather had still been good. We've been running it since moving in. At the time of service (also by R&R) it had needed some fixes but had still been under warranty. With what was done to it, everything should have been running smoothly for a while to come. Last Sunday morning we woke up to no heat and a house that was 62 degrees. We played with the thermostat settings but nothing would make the furnace kick on. My husband went down into the crawl space and followed the instructions on the furnace to reset it, to no avail. Finally, we gave up and called R&R. I expected there to be an after-hours surcharge, but I wasn't willing to use our space heater and wait until Monday. We spoke to Eric, who said there were 2 calls in front of us and then he'd be out. We spoke to him at about 1pm and he arrived by 3:30pm, which seemed prompt all things considered. He told us the furnace turned on fine when he overrode the thermostat, and after trying several things found the problem to be a corroded relay (which is apparently not common). We got the last replacement part he had in his truck. He was in our home for about 90 minutes, but the cost was very reasonable, and to my pleasant surprise there was not a Sunday surcharge. We were able to use the 10% Angie's List coupon to save some money. I was very happy with their service.

It started out rocky but PLEASE read all the way to the end! I originally had someone come out to give me a quote for install of a geothermal system. They arrived on time at my house to get a lay of the land and appeared very knowledgeable. As we were going through things around the house we found some plans with piping which he asked to borrow as it would save him time and energy for the quote. I gladly let him borrow those plans. He said he would get a quote ready for me and get back to me as soon as possible. I never did hear back from him. I even called him about 3-4 times (the personal number I was given off his card) and left messages every time. I still never heard back. I also called R & R multiple times and got a hold of the receptionist who kept telling me "Oh, he just stepped out of the office can I leave him a message and have him get right back to you?" After the first 3 times of leaving a message with the receptionist and not hearing anything back, I finally called her and was told the same thing "Oh, he just stepped out of the office..." At that point, I was very frustrated and said "I have been trying to get a hold of him for 6 weeks and keep calling you guys and getting the same run around." The receptionist was then going to send an e-mail to him or some such letting him know my concerns. By that time, I had decided not to go through with the geothermal and was wondering about mini-split systems. The receptionist then said "Jason doesn't work with those. Let me transfer you to Ginger, the receptionist for the department that deals with those." I never did hear back from the first guy regarding the geothermal. I did have 2 other companies come out to give me quotes on geothermal. One company got back to me fairly quickly and said they would not recommend it in my area because unable to get temperatures right or some such as well as cost (I didn't completely understand it). The other company I contacted also took FOREVER to get back to me and I called them several times to inquire about the quote. They eventually did get back to me to tell me essentially the same thing as the other guy. Anyways, I was transferred to the other department at R & R that deals with mini-splits and scheduled an appointment to have someone else come out to give me a quote on a mini-split. I was transferred to a gentleman named Terry and we set a time to have him come out and check out the area needing the mini-splits. Terry came out on time and was very knowledgeable with all the different systems. I did my research ahead of time on minisplit units and told him I was very interested in the Mitsubishi units with hyperheat inverter. He took some measurements and then told me he would get the quote to me within a week. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't want (but we did discuss options). About a week later, I actually got 2 different quotes as I was expecting. I then applied for Avista loan program and was eventually approved (great program by the way). Terry called me a few times during this process to see how everything was going. Everything was on track until I was ready to set up an install date. I kept calling Terry's cell phone (the number he gave me) to tell him I was approved and to set up an install date. I kept getting through to his answering machine and left multiple messages. About a week later, after not hearing from him, I decided to call R & R Heating and got the receptionist again who told me he had resigned due to health problems. The receptionist took down my information and told me to be expecting a call from another guy who will be taking over my install. Terry was very helpful and gave me a VERY reasonable quote which is why I chose to stick with R & R. All of this appeared to be an isolated incident and I preferred to give the benefit of the doubt. The same day I talked with the receptionist and she took down my number, I got a call back from Randy H. Randy heard about all the trouble I was experiencing and really took the time to hear my concerns and make sure the rest of my experience was without problems. His communication was WONDERFUL and he made sure my original proposal was honored (which, again, was a VERY reasonable price). That is when I decided to also have them put in my water heater that I was needing too. Randy went through the house again, took some more pictures and said he would have a quote to me shortly. A few days later he had the quote written up and sent to me. He also had dates for electrician and plumber to come out. He kept in contact on a regular basis and everything went smoothly. We were not home the two days they installed everything because I could not get the time off work. So we left them a key. If they had problems or needed permission for things, they gave me a call. On one of the calls they reported that they heard water running downstairs in our mechanical room and ran down to see what it was. They found a pipe that somehow got unconnected from my Water Softener system that was installed 6 months ago by a different company. They turned the water off to that system (bypassed it so I could still have water) and suggested I call that company to fix it. When that company came to fix the water softener pipe they found that they had originally installed a faulty piping piece. Had R & R not been there to turn off the water my basement would have been flooded and there would have been a lot of water damage. I was very fortunate! Randy H. and R & R went above and beyond to make sure my experience with them was the best. I am glad I stuck with them despite the original problem. They really care about making their customers happy and doing a good job! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and will use them again if I need something else done. very prompt, called ahead to advise of arrival time, clean cut young man very professional. made suggestions for extra parts needed and obtained permission to replace parts. had all parts and tools necessary to complete job same day.

Would highly recommend R&R! We called them based on all the good Angie's list reviews and they didn't disappoint. The customer service and quality of repairs was A+.

Furnace works so much better. More air coming thru the vents than ever and we have owned the home for 35 years. Everything done in a timely fashion.

Do use R and R! They a great job of being on time for their appointment, communicating all through the process and completing the work timely and did everything that they promised that they would do.

They were professional and punctual and fixed the issue quickly. I would use them again and would recommend them. I am not an expert on pricing in this area, so I am not sure what kind of deal I received. One thing I was curious about is a military discount, I saw that someone else received one. Being a military person I would have been interested.I signed up and paid for their plan to come out in the summer and next winter to service the AC and furnace. I was told they would call in the next week to schedule this. I called them after the week had passed to schedule it. Not a big deal, but after paying for it, I wanted to make sure I did not forget to do it.

The service guy was very professional. He used covers for his shoes, which was really nice given the weather this time of the year. Troubleshooting these types of problems can be a pain, but he appeared to do a good job and was knowledgeable on how the gas fireplaces work.
