Description of Work: I called Rainman for an estimate on gutters for front and back of my house. They arrived promptly and discussed the issues involved. They indicated they could not install the gutters until the eaves and mounting area were properly painted. They provided the name or a recommended painter on the estimate. | |However, the painter was very unresponsive and asked ME to take photos and send them to him. It took quite awhile and a couple of phone calls before I got a simplistic response. I asked the painter to please stop by and do a real assessment of the problem. He only stopped in after I called Rainman and complained. The painter promised a written estimate but never called back or sent an estimate. | |I will definitely call Rainman to do the actual gutter work once I solve the paint issue. But I was NOT happy with the response of their recommended painter.

They were there on time and they did a great job. Their pricing was one of the best. They were excellent on everything. We will use their services again in the future.

We originally had 4 competitive quotes and we decided to follow-up on two of them based on our budget. After discussing the project with both companies; we decided to proceed with the quote from Rainman. They were willing to fit the installation into our schedule, they arrived on-time, completed the job on time and it looks great. We paid to have the old materials removed and disposed of as part of the job. Everything is high quality and exactly what we expected. The best part of the entire process was how quickly we had updated proposals via email and while on the phone they were very open to our ideas and even accepted our proposed upgrade and they were able to stay within our budget. I priced around the additional options we asked for and found that they were willing to sell and install the upgrades we requested at nearly the exact same price as we would have paid to buy and install ourselves. They are very nice to work with. We would be happy to work with Rainman again in the future and feel they gave us the best value possible on this job. Very fair and professional work. Thank you.
Description of Work: Just under 200 feet of gutter and seven downspouts. Plus the protection system from leaves being built up.

I wanted to install a rain barrel, so they placed the downspout in just the right place so the barrel wasn't visible. They sell a commodity item, so their price must be competitive --and so it was. The way they excel is with customer service. And no, I have no vested interest in Rainman and none of my relatives work there.

+ -1 moreThey were professional, timely, and open to my ideas of what i wanted done both during the estimating process and during the installation. They asked questions, which i really appreciate, rather than just blazing ahead with not regard as to what i was interested in. They provided both style and pricing options, and allowed for "mix-and-match" so that i could get a little more without busting my budget. They provided a very rare "very good service AND very good price". I'm impressed still, and glad I went with them.
Description of Work: I'd torn down my existing gutters while doing remodeling, lived a year without any, and decided i really did need gutters on the house. They provided estimates for various options, scheduled installation, provided parts and good advice as well. Gutters and downspouts install all the way around an existing 1920's house.
