Needed to replace Main drive gear. Do not carry in stock and cannot order it (Wayne Dalton). Said can't get too old etc. I found it online for $40 with the entire parts list for the machine. A little disappointed I was not told that and of course the only alternative was to buy an entire new machine at $400 or $600. I guess if you list yourself as a repair company you should do repair and not just replace. I'm in the construction industry and this is one of our rental houses, I was on the phone but not at the site. Paid via credit card but still have not received a receipt after contacting three times. However the charge has already gone through. However best intention this company is.. my suggestion would be to use the company or manufacturer of your current garage door it will save you a lot of money. In my case 3 to $400. One of the downsides is they have a national phone scheduling subcontractor which can get confusing at times and they are not very knowledgeable concerning their products.

Technician did a garage door tune up and replaced a bolt that had fallen out. The response was prompt and the technician was very professional and courteous.

Our garage door wouldn't open and we were stuck in the garage! We could open it manually with a lot of effort but that solution wouldn't have worked for very long. It was a Saturday morning and I wasn't sure if I could get someone out that day and even if I could, I was afraid there would be an extra fee. I checked Angie’s List, liked what I read, and gave them a call. I was able to get a technician out within a few hours and not only were they waiving the service fee that day but they honored my Angie's List coupon and gave me 15% off. My technician was Kris Anderson and he was wonderful. Very patient, explained all my options, and was able to complete the work right then. This company may not be the cheapest but I can tell you the quality of the materials and work, along with the warranty and top notch service I received was well worth the extra money to me.

Timely response. Called as promised before heading to house with an accurate ETA. More work was required than originally anticipated. He was prepared with parts to complete the job without a return. Much appreciated. Technician was very professional and not pushy about purchasing the most expensive unit - just gave the facts about each choice. I would definitely recommend their services.

Have Wayne Dalton Door, Precision Door bought their phone number. When asked receptionist they stated Wayne Dalton was no longer in Spokane. Technician came out, quoted $509 ( after 15% Angie's list discount) to replace springs. Seemed high and wanted to pursue other quote. Paid service fee of $54.35. Finally located Wayne Dalton in Spokane. Now is named NATION SERVE in Spokane Valley. Scheduled to come tomorrow and replace springs and service door for $$220. Huge price difference. Recommend using NATION SERVE for garage door repair especially if you have a Wayne Dalton door.

You know how you take your car in for a oil change and they come out with 40 point recommendations for every flush imaginable and every tuneup that could be done? That is how it felt even after telling them money was a issue and I just wanted the current problem fixed-than followed by multiple disclaimers needing to be signed saying your not following the advice? Really? There were prompt and professional and fixed my problem for which I paid them,but didn't like their recommending every service at every moment.

Same day service, and a quick call ahead to let me know he was on his way so I could meet him there. The technician repaired, replaced, adjusted, and explained what he was doing and why, showing me the damaged parts. He made recommendations for future maintenance, as well.

It turned out that it was the way the sun was setting. It shined right into the sensor into the door. So you have to block the sensor.

door opener was repaired. A couple of weeks later the garage door opener acted up again. Two hinges had broken. I was told the door was too old; the hinges were no longer available. They wanted to update all the hinges at a cost of more than $400.

Installation was great. Door works perfect and comes with a 5 year warranty.

After checking over the door and lubricating rollers, he pointed out why he would recommend replacing spring. While he was prepared to change out the spring that day if we wished to do so, we chose to wait for a later date

The repairman from Precision told me the price for our door repair would be any where between $500 and $1500 depending on guarantees etc. I told him that I was not sure I had the money for it and went to check my balances. In the meantime he had gotten out his equipment and such and when I came back he had already begun. I told him that I was sorry but that I could not afford to pay him at this time. I live in a nice neighborhood, but I am a music teacher and do not make an income equal to my neighbors. I don?t even qualify for my house anymore. He told me he would just get it running, I didn?t want to kick him out, but I did not know what to do. I hesitated, and decided that his equipment was all out and that I would just pay the minimum to get it fixed ( $500) but when he finished and presented me with the bill it was over $900.I was stunned,I gave him a check and wondered how i was going to pay my taxes, come January. He had me sign on a screen right before he left. I assumed that I was signing that he had done the work. I felt awful and didn?t sleep for days. Later I recieved the invoice in the mail and realized that he really had been trying to deceive me. It was not just my inability to kick him out. You can see that my initials have been forged on the agreement to have work done. I never saw these numbers or initialed anything. He clearly went ahead with work without an actual agreement. I feel that forging my initials shows willful intent to deceive . I do not feel that this is good business practice. I feel I have been overcharged, manipulated and misrepresented by his initialing the contract. The door works fine. Thank you, Ruth Michaelis

Service technician Shawn and a colleague called to indicate they would arrive within the hour. Upon arriving, Shawn conducted an assessment after which he met with me with a plan and a good sense for costs. Because of the age of the springs, bar, and bearings, he recommended replacement. It took them about an hour to finish the job after which I was asked to inspect the work. Just like new! I was exceedingly impressed with Shawn?s attitude, expertise and manner by which he solved our problem. In addition, they had all the parts necessary on the truck. I?m happy to remain a customer.
