Description of Work: We spoke with Norman Construction to remodel our kitchen. We had everything ready to go and then they never showed up again. We tried to contact them several times but no one ever got back to us.

+ -1 moreJim Norman started doing remodels for us about 24 years ago. He does outstanding work and I go directly to him when I need something done in our home. Over the years he has created a bathroom in the basement and refinished our family room. If you go to his website Norman Construction, you will see an entire wall of bookshelves built by Jim that are absolutely gorgeous. He also built two mantles for the fireplaces on the main floor and family room. Again incredibly beautiful. Because I have light affective disorder, Jim built a large light in our kitchen that gives off true light. I am thoroughly convinced that Jim can do anything when it comes to construction! This summer Jim replaced our kitchen floor and new counters. He also replaced the bathroom floor and installed a pedestal sink.. We did the work this summer to update our home to get ready to sell. I love all the updates so much that we have decided to stay in our beautiful home. I have absolutely nothing but praise for the outstanding work Jim Norman does. He is a true craftsman.
Description of Work: Norman Construction was hired to replace bathroom floor, install pedestal sink, replace kitchen floor and counters, and install a new microwave over the stove.

+ -1 moreGreat and the recent experience I was very impressed how he estimated a smaller project because it was the only realistic thing you could do with this house.
Description of Work: We had Jim Norman Construction remodel our bathroom several years ago. My partner is VERY hard to please and loved their work, and the bathroom has held up great. Recently we were looking at a new house but it would require a kitchen remodeling so we asked Jim to make an estimate. He did and while he was there talked about the things he saw as a contractor that you would have to attend to. Additionallly he talk about how some of the remodeling we were considering would run into problems and how less was the only real viable alternative.
