Moores Contracting

We hired Moore Contracting to add a drain filed, remove a side walk, re-poor the side walk and add a couple of cement slabs. In doing the project, our frond driveway was destroyed by the his equipment. The gravel delivered was dumped on the driveway and he used a small bob-cat to move the gravel around. Moore agreed to re-do the driveway he destroyed. In doing so, he was unable to follow a reasonable schedule and the work was not completed due to weather. We went all winter without a driveway. It was a mess. When spring rolled around, we could not get him to get the work done. He took our money and did not complete the work. I had to hire another contractor to complete the project. It was no doubt the only smart thing we did during the ordeal. The slab that he poured was already cracked and it looks terrible. It was a fail all the way around. We learned from the new contractor that Moore has tow other clients that he has left hanging in the very same manner. Lesson learned AGAIN> i should have done further research and checked references. In my opinion, Moore seems to have good intentions, he simply has no ability to run a business or follow thru on a project.
