Kevin called soon after placing the request. He was prompt and upfront about all aspects of the job. Fence turned out great.

They are busy so it took a few weeks for them to start but when they did it went super fast.

Kevin and Janell were great to work with. They were willing to deal with any issues that came up, calmly and professionally. Our properties required additional equipment to deal with roots and rocks. They did not charge us for this service which we very much appreciated. We highly recommend them.

Mending Fences and More conducts its initial site visit, estimate, follow-up calls, scheduling, actual work, and statement detail in a totally professional manner. Fencing repair is a risky business because of (literally) unforeseen conditions: buried root balls, hidden deep cement in our case. Chet and his crew endured punishing August heat gracefully in performing a total job that was far beyond routine. Besides the storm-damage work, they restored a dilapidated (and falling) cedar fence, most of whose posts had rotted completely. Keep in mind that the first word in their name is "Mending." They're good at it! (see photos) On the business side, their office provides clear detail in their estimates and statements. This was very important to us because the job entailed both insured and optional (non-covered) repairs. Our insurance carrier needed that level of detail in the statement we were required to submit. Beyond fixing storm damage, the company faced the obstacle of correcting two prior VERY unprofessional installation jobs. And they even accommodated our somewhat quirky gate latch design when we asked for it. We're speaking from actual SAD experience. We had hired prior storm damage work done by someone who was very UNqualified. Consider yourself wise to be an Angie's List subscriber. And consider yourself well-advised to go with Mending Fences and More.

The workmanship was great, but the communication along the way was below average.

From start to finish, the entire process was clear, transparent and without drama. The bid was completed quickly and remaining questions resolved prior to hiring them to do the work. What wasn't clear, was just how good the quality of the work would be. From the setting of the posts, to the completion of the gate, it was a marvel of craftsmanship and professionalism. Having seen lower quality work performed previously, I was shocked at the exceptional attention to detail and the quality of the materials used. There aren't many service providers I'd recommend without reservation, but this is one of them. I can't imagine a better combination of price, quality and service exists in the greater northwest fencing arena and if it does, I've yet to run across it. Mine is an unqualified recommendation and as I told the owner, I've never been that happy to part with a substantial sum of money in my life.

They showed up on time and worked really hard. I believe I was the last fence they installed for the year as the ground was starting to freeze and we had a few snow flakes. Nevertheless, they braved the cold and installed the fence before winter. After a year and half since the installation, we had a couple posts that had shifted slightly... In part this was due to the freezing and thawing of the ground and it caused the posts to shift a little. Mending Fences/Kevin was very responsive and called immediately when he found out there was a problem. He came out and fixed the fence to stiffen the posts and made some other repairs. I was very impressed with his professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to quality fence.

The fence man came on time and was very informative. He told me about the vinyl fence and the entire process I had to go through to remove the fence . He was very nice, considerate and price was excellent.

It went great. Kevin conferred with me to make sure he was doing the job as I wished. He also offered advice to change the job slightly, which I took and which ended up being a better option. He and his crew members were polite, professional and left the work site clean and tidy. The fence looks beautiful. I would definitely use them again.

The ONLY reason I'm giving this company a low grade is because they required a deposit of 1/2 the total cost upfront. Kevin Chen, the owner was thorough and professional. He explained the process of repairing my fence and answered my questions. Had it not been for the deposit requirement, I would have had him do the work for me. When I told him the deposit was a deal breaker, he was polite, offered a few names of other companies then sent a follow up letter thanking me for considering Mending Fences and More.

Our metal tubular driveway gate was coming loose from the support post at the top. The fellows from Mending Fences fixed it and had it working properly in a short period of time. They were very pleasant and professional and now the gate works like it used to. Thank you Mending Fences!

From the first phone call to the finished fence, this company was great to work with! Custom lengths had to be designed a day to turned out better than we had expected.

He does a great job and he's timely. I really like him. He did what's needed to be done and he did it so we'll be okay. I thought he gave me a very reasonable price. He was very knowledgeable about the fence and he explains why I was having trouble. I just really appreciate the information he gave me. I even have a little puppy and he makes sure that my puppy wouldn't come out.
