We took our time going through this process--spent over a year choosing a builder and got four different bids. We were impressed by Paras' ability to keep the price down, be flexible with materials and by our job manager, Mark Wagenblast. Ours is a custom home and we were impressed with the guality subs that contract with Paras and worked with us throughout our project. No project is without problems, especially not one the size of building a home, but for the most part, things were handled to our liking. We visited the job site every day, which I would recommend no matter who your builder is and communicated with them frequently. We were able to actually save money in several different places during the build which we could apply to a few places where we went over budget. Mark was good to work with us on overages. Warning: overages are expensive, so do everything you can to avoid them by planning ahead. The only place Paras' grossly underbudgeted was for bathroom amenities and lighting. Make sure you know what you want before you commit to a budget. Overall, we are thrilled with the amount of time, the cost, and the quality. We could not be happier with our home. After construction (now that we are in) Paras has been fairly good at responding to the few minor issues we have had. It is hard sometimes to get them back once they have moved on to a new project, however I suspect that is true for all builders. I highly recommend Paras' for a custom home.

They were nice people when we could actually talk to them. Otherwise, they were very unresponsive and always changing appointments. If they are like this prior to building, I can't imagine trying to contact them while building when problems are experienced.
