We just call them when we have plumbing problems and generally, we get the same plumber; his name is Joe. We found out that the builder had not put a sump pump in so they installed that for us. They charge $95 per hour. We use them all the time. They are prompt, they are knowledgeable, and they are friendly. They follow through properly. They do good work. The minimum one has to pay is for an hour and if they finish early, they always ask us if there is anything else we want them to do so that we can make full use of the time we pay for the hour. I think that is great.

The serviceman checked it completely including several run throughs with an auger but could find nothing wrong. His opinion is the age of the toilet may be the cause and gave us an estimate should we need to replace it.The serviceman, Travis, was very professional and helpful.

They came out right away and took care of the issues. We will definitely use them again.

Went well. Work was done professionally. He talked me out of a tankless water heater, for good reason. The same with a water pressure booster. Some of the work done on the sprinkler system was not planned, but he did it anyway. The work didn't take as long as planned by the estimator. I think they're pricey, but he did a good job, and I was pleased. To me it was worth it.

The technician was personable and familiar with the equipment.

Everything went extremely well. Ron Smiley, the plumber, is highly recommended.

They did a great work. We had one problem in that the shower base in one of hte bathrooms was defective and caused a pool of water. It was not found until after the tilers had finished the shower. Gold Seal replaced and repaired the shower base and the shower at their cost to make sure we were happy. In another case, another tradesperson sawed thorugh a pipe and caused a flood of a lower floor. Gold Seal was not scheduled in our home that day but dropped what they were doing and fixed the pipe, so we could have our water turned back on.

After my initial inquiry about replacing our water heater, we talked about the pros and cons of a tank-less system. We evaluated the initial costs, performance, energy savings, and warranty (20 years!), we choose the tank-less. They specified an Eternal 195s system for our house in Spokane, WA, and came when they said they would on the day of installation. WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH THE SYSTEM, INSTALLATION AND GOLD SEAL EMPLOYEES!

We like them. They came when they said they would and they did the work. We were happy with it. Their prices seemed reasonable but we rarely use plumbers. We would absolutely use them again.

Service man showed up il-equipped.He did not have long enough snake and had to wait for someone to bring him the right equipment.When it came to billing time,he was a fast talking used car salesman telling us what a deal they gave us.The job should have been a 2-3 hour task that turned into close to 8 hours.He did take care of the problem,but overall was not happy with the company.We explained before they sent someone out that my mother was on a fixed income and could only afford approx $200-$300 dollars.They did let us work out payments but again,not happy.

They were great. We were very impressed with them. They did really good work. We would use them again in the future.

It went great. Paul was very knowledgeable and informative.

This is a 75 year old home with galvanized pipe. the leaky pipe had been located and dug out. The hole was 5 feet deep by 4 feet wide that we had already dug out. A new pipe could not be put in because the old pipe could not be fitted. We called gold seal plumbing after our first plumber who we had made an appointment with said he could not do the job. Gold Seal came within an hour and put two couplings on the old pipe. This is a temporary fix that we hope holds for a couple of years. The company was prompt, helpful and we would use them again.

Kevin Peacock arrived at 1:30P and handled our dog's not too friendly greeting with ease. He insisted on wearing booties, even though I assured him it wasn't necessary. Kevin proceeded to find our leaking pipe underneath the kitchen sink, and afterward discovered that our disposal had to be replaced. Kevin did not try to push the more expensive models, but explained the pros and cons of all the units available. Kevin was very pleasant and professional during the entire service call. I had numerous questions, and Kevin convinced me that he was an expert at his craft. I am certain that Gold Seal must already realize the value Kevin Peacock adds to their business. I plan to request Kevin for our next plumbing breakdowns.

Paul the plumber came very quickly. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease.

GOLD SEAL PLUMBING are consumate professionals. I have used them twice. I found out the hard way that Plumbing skill varies from the poor to the professional. These guys are at the pro end. They took shoes off before they entered house, laid down a plastic film to protect the carpet, and did a plumbing job a professional pipefitter would flip over. I told Tom to plumb it the way he would in his house. He told me he slept on it all night thinking of ways to install it. He came up with several upgrades that I could see improved the installation tremendously. We are very happy with the work they did. If you need a plumber, these are the people .......... period. They are not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for.

It was OUTRADIOUSLY costly--well over twice what we thought it would be. They make plumbers cost like brain surgeons. The plumber was nice but at that cost they should be! I called them because they installed that piece of equipment and I needed to be shown how it worked. I will never call them again--there has to be more reasonable costs.

Service person was professional and personable. He performed a video inspection of sewer line. He then reinspected the line with me present and thoroughly explained all issues/problems with the sewer line. He then routed the line to remove a root ball that was the apparent cause of a sewer back up that we had experienced. I inquired about replacing the sewer line and he informed me of the excavating service they recommend. We ended up have the line replaced by the company recommended and were very satisfied with the work they performed.

Needed a plumber ASAP in order to fix a pipe that broke when we attempted to replace our tub/shower fixtures. I already had someone coming to tile my tub enclosure. Called Gold Seal (I had used them once in the past) in the AM to see if someone could come out that morning. Was told someone would be here between 10-noon, and sooner if possible. I thought I was told that the price was $150 for the first hour, and then $47.50 for each additional hour. Plumber called at noon and said he was running about an hour late. He arrived at about 12:50. He worked for 3.5 hours and said he would return the next day to trim the fixtures after the tile setter finished. He said he was unsure whether he would be able to fit the tub spout that came with the set I had purchased, but he had a spout that would just slip on. I asked if I should get another set, and he said no, that he could provide the spout. He arrived the following day (was supposed to arrive between 2-4 and arrived at 3:52) and finished the work at shortly after 5. Imagine my surprise when my bill came to $723.24! The charges were actually $150 for the first hour and $47.50 for each additional half hour, plus $59 for the tub spout. In addition, I had to call the office because he charged me for an extra hour. I had to wait for a week before I received a refund for the extra hour. The quality of the work, thus far, seems good. If I could do it over, I would have asked for a quote from the plumber once he arrived. This would have alerted me to the fact that I was paying by the half hour after the first hour. If I would have realized how much I was paying, my husband could have finished the job once the tub/shower valve was replaced and we would not have had him repair the leaky faucet. At $47.50 per hour, I wasn't that worried about how long the plumber was here. At $94 per hour, I would have been a lot more vigilant. I would have also asked for more information about the tub spout. The set I purchased (same brand as the spout he sold me) included a spout, and it cost $115. I wonder if I could have gotten a set without a spout for less money, or a spout that would have fit for less than $59. Lessons learned: confirm price once the plumber arrives and check your bill. I called the office to complain about the rate and was told that is their rate. I'm sure that when I was quoted the rate I repeated it because that's what I do. Apparently we each heard the other incorrectly. I also asked to get a copy of the charges for materials because it was a lump sum on my bill--that's how I found out the spout cost me $59. I also refigured the number of hours I was charged, and it turned out that I was charged for an extra hour (which was refunded to me).

I simply called for a price quote on a disposal replacement. I don't replace disposals every day, so I'm not up on all the choices. I asked the question, "...how much would it cost me for someone to come to my home and replace my disposal". The woman who answered the phone asked in reply: "what kind of disposal do you want?". I replied that I wasn't sure..."just a standard one"...to which she replied something like this: "it's kind of like buying a car and not knowing which one you want...it's not that simple". I found this comment, and her tone with which she made it, to be rude. We all buy cars, however, not all of us replace disposals. Forgive me for not knowing the plethora of choices...but how about you let your customers know the lower end price and the higher end price without demeaning them for not knowing your business and its multitude of choices. My choice was simle...they were not going to get my money; it's ;like buying a car, the car has to be worth the money.

Plumber was a little late in arriving; however, once here he did a fantastic job. He was very considerate and showed real concern in doing a good job. Once finished, he vacuumed around his work area and asked if there were any other problems to be addressed. I was very satisfied with his professionalism. The customer service girl on the phone is very friendly and efficient as well. Response time was quick. I like these people a lot and so far have had excellent service from them.

I did not hire this company for the job.
