Description of Work: Dryer died after only two years old. Motor died.. Spoke with manager and they agreed to pay the repair since it was out of warranty. However, Fred's applicance has the worse repair service. It takes approximately 3 weeks to get a service call.

+ 0 moreIt was great. The only thing was they were supposed to have a part when they came out. They didn't have the part; that's why I didn't get the dryer but had they had the part, it would have only taken one trip. The pricing was a little high.
Description of Work: I had appliance repair from Fred's Appliance. They gave me an estimate on fixing a dryer and that was going to cost too much. I've got a new dryer but they fixed my washing machine. There was a rubber liner that they fixed.

Description of Work: Refrigerator, under warranty stopped freezing. |Store didn't have sufficient repair personnel to respond in timely manner. |When they did they diagnosed the problem (which they suspected) and had to order parts. Two weeks later they attempted the retrofit (which the supplier knew about years ago but never told customers). Repair team botched job leaving us without refrigerator at all for about a week. They were concerned but not proactive in solving our problem. I can only assume that they care more about selling appliances "only appliances" then supporting sold product.

+ -1 moreThey only thing that they didn’t tell me was the fact that they do charge to install. I didn’t know that at the time, of course one does not think about things like that when one is involved in a total remodel. They came out and charged $400 and change, to install the stovetop and the microwave oven combination. I think that should have been done upfront. They sold me the products but then they should have said to me about the extra cost for the installation. The quality of the appliance was fine and they did find me exactly what I was looking for. I got excellent prices because I kind of bartered with them a little bit. I had no problem with their prices. The quality of both the work and the product was great. Overall, the salesman did not tell me that it was going to cost me extra to have the appliances installed but other than that they were very good.
Description of Work: We bought new appliances for our kitchen from Fred’s Appliance Inc; in June 2011. We got a new microwave oven combination, a new stovetop, and a new refrigerator. They also came out and installed it all.
