The appointment was for 10 AM, Tony showed up at 9:30. The tank was pumped quickly for the quoted price. My drain field has failed and Tony had some useful advice on how to fix it. Tony volunteered that I could call him if I had more questions.

Tony came as promised - right on time. He found roots in my septic which he cleaned out. He showed me where the "baffle" on the tank (pretty old tank) was broken. He able to make a new one and installed it at a very minimal charge. Super nice man - would highly recommend him.

Service was very quick and complete. He came later in the week from the phone call and performed the work within 2 days.

I was unsure of the condition of my septic system so I called First Class Septic; Tony was able to come out the next day at noon when I was available. He was right on time, opened and examined the system and advised it was working fine and did not need to be pumped at that time. It was great to have a professional who did only th work necessary and not advise the tank needed pumping whe it did not. I highly recommnd tony Price for his honesty, professionalism, promptness and curtesy.

Our septic pump alarm went off. Since this is a new house to us, we did not know we even had a septic pump. After reading all of the positive reviews on Angie's List for First Class Septic, I gave them a call at about 9 am. I first got a voicemail and hung up without leaving a message, but I got a call back almost immediately from the owner, Tony. I explained where our septic system was, and he correctly diagnosed the problem just from my description--a clogged pump. He squeezed me into a full schedule and arrived around 1:00 pm. He removed the pump and found it clogged with tampons. He was able to get the pump working again, and advised me that the pump was running more slowly from the stress of being clogged, but was still working. A new pump would cost over $1000--he thought the best plan would be to see if the original pump would continue working before spending that money. I agreed and was grateful that he was sensitive to a tight family budget. He charged me $162 for cleaning out the pump. Later that night around 8 pm, the alarm went off again. Since he was about an hour away on another job and it was almost dark, he talked my husband through disabling the pump and checking if it was clogged again. With his phone instruction, we were able to get the pump working again, but it proved to be intermittent. I called him at 8 am the next morning to let him know the pump had failed again and we had finally just shut it off. He got right over to my house by 9 am. He had a used pump exactly like mine that he had saved from a sewer hook-up, and he installed it and it worked beautifully. He did not charge me for the used pump, or for the second visit. Tony was very responsive and professional. He kept the worksite cleaned up and he was very sensitive to keeping the cost down. I fully expected to pay him for the used pump and the install on the second visit, but he declined payment, saying it was part of getting the job done! We are very pleased with his work, support, responsiveness, and price. We definitely recommend this business.

Punctual, professional, quick - super service - will use them again

Overall the contractor satisfactorily pumped out the subject septic tank. Several Issues Called contractor the day before service. (Monday - January 13, 2014) 1. Agreed upon arrival time of 1:00 PM - If contractor could not make it at that time (early or late) contractor would call ahead of time. Contractor arrived 45 minutes early with no prior notification. I was in the process of leaving the house and just happened to catch contractor as he arrived. 2. Contractor estimated a service time of 30-45 minutes for a 1500 gallon septic tank. (Contractor was well aware of volume). Contractor took over 3 1/2 hours to complete service - Was not able to fit 1500 gallon volume of septic tank into his service tank. Contractor had to make a 2 hour run to disposal point. Suspect this is where the extra cost was incurred. 3 Contractor on Monday phone call said cost for 1500 gallon septic tank service was $500.00 Bill was for $525.00 (+ Tax) - $75- $100 over cost of other local reputable septic tank service contractors. 4. Cleanup & Departure Contractor made little or no effort to cleanup and restore the septic tank cover soil/grass removal. Also indicated that he could not secure the tank lids completely because of dirt and debris. I was also required to provide a garden hose for contractor to cleanup, which was intended to clean out the septic tank cover bolt holes.. Upon leaving the property the contractor made a very tight turn with his truck and did damage to the turnaround island landscaping. It appeared that he was aware of this as he backed up and ran over the subject area twice and never mentioned this to me. Damage estimate - $200.00 (Cost for a landscaper to come out to property and fix).

Tony did an excellent job. We were unsure of the location of the septic tank, so he acquired the available information on record, located the tank, did a LOT of digging to uncover it, and cleaned it + gave is recommendations about some changes we might want to make -- ALL on the same day I called him to inquire about availability! Great job. Great attitude. Happy to recommend him to anyone who might need his services.

Tony was great! Very courteous and professional. He came out and fixed a clogged septic line and pumped our septic tank. Very much appreciated his willingness to get the problem fixed today, even though it was a Sunday and he was working on some repairs to his own house. I would definitely recommend him.

All went very well and we were very pleased with his services.

Tony showed up on time and provided the service for a reasonable price. He is efficient. He is personable and spent time explaining how septic systems work and how to maintain them.

We thought our washing machine was going out but after my husband started to clear out the laundry room and start working on the washing machine he discovered that the drain seemed plugged. It was the septic backed up and flooding the laundry room. I looked up septic in our area and had no idea who to call. I had seen an advertisement on the T.V. earlier in the week for Angie's list and gave it a whirl. I read the reviews of a couple of companies and thought I would give First Class Septic and Tony answered. I told him what was happening and that my husband shut off the water so we didn't have additional flooding. Tony stated that he wasn't going to have us wait an would be out within the hour. There he was at our door 47min after our call...we were shocked it was Sunday afternoon. Tony cleared out our septic and was off and on the road again in an hour. Tony was kind, funny and personable. We will call him again when we are in need of a pump. Thanks Tony!!

Tony was very helpful and competent. He arrived as scheduled and made sure that my system was intact and reviewed its condition with me. He even helped to replace my outlet baffle. super job super nice guy, i would recommend him anytime.

I called, He answered, he came onsite, and when he left all the bad s*** went with him. it doesn't get any better.

Tony was able to come out the next day and showed up early. He was friendly and knowlegable, able to inform me of potential problems. He even helped fill in the dirt afterwards for no charge!

Tony the owner showed up the next day on time, examined the whole system, tested it, and discoverd that the plug was due to some large landscape boulders pressing on the house outlet pipe causing it to bow and allow sediment buildup that was plugging the outlet. He cleared the pipe and the system worked fine. Then he wrote out in detail what needed to be done to replace the damaged pipe, including a diagram indicating specifically what needed attention. He was very professional and thorough. Would definitely hire him again.

We had our septic alarm activate and we called Tony (based on Angie's List). Scheduling was no problem. Tony arrived promptly. He was courteous and professional. While he was checking our system and as he was servicing the septic tank, Tony talked us through the entire process and thoroughly answered any questions that came up. Of note, he made us feel very comfortable as he answered our them (we didn't end up feeling like the septic amateurs that we really are!!!). As a bonus, Tony pointed out and demonstrated some preventive maintenance that we can do ourselves to keep our system running smoothly. We will call on him again.

Not only did he get my septic pumped out, but he worked with my adult children on a couple of other issues for no charge. Will definitely use his service again. Very helpful and worked out the billing situation as well.

Tony was very prompt. He was able to come out on the same day. He was very knowledgable about my system, even though he had never seen it before. He pointed out that on my tank there would be a second lid and helped me dig it up. He was very easy to talk to and very professional. The job was done quickly and I am very pleased.

FIRST CLASS SEPTIC INC. did the job on Sunday which was very nice. I called and left a message on his answering machine to get the job done. He called me within 15 minutes and said that he could be at my house within a couple hours. He came from far out, but said he was in the area. I said it was no rush and he came out anyway just on time. He gave us a little education on what we need to do. He showed us, he cleaned, and did what he needed to do. We were ecstatic with his work.

He did a good job. The gentleman was very knowledgeable, helpful, and wanted to do the job well.

Tony answered his phone when we called. It was nice to get a person, rather than an answering service or machine. It was a Friday mid-day, and we had what you might call a septic emergency. We didn't even know where the septic tank was on the site, and he advised us how to contact the county to get a description of the location of the tank. With that information, I was able to locate it and uncover the lid (it was under 8" of lawn sod). Tony came out to our house about an hour and a half after we called. He opened up the septic tank and discovered that it was overfull. He pumped the tank and alerted us to the fact that one of the lids of the tank was decayed and needed replacement. He told us exactly what part we needed and referred us to a cement products store that could supply it. He also helped us understand the system, its function and condition, so that we know how to maintain it properly. He fished his work in about an hour, and we still had time to go to the cement store and buy the new lid that we needed.Problem solved in just a few hours after it was discovered. Tony was friendly and responsive. Despite the obvious fact that we were in urgent need of a fix, his price was very reasonable and the extra information he provided about our system will help us maintain it in the future. I highly recommend his service.
