Epic Electrical Enterprise

Don came out & did a panel upgrade on 10/11/18. I had a 100amp Federal Pacific (which is scary old & extremely out dated & dangerous) I had to be at work during the install. (I trust Epic with my spare key) When I got home, I couldnt even tell that he was there, except there was a new panel on my house. Professional & clean, and so worth the wait. Their schedule is packed, because they are the BEST. I'm planning on having more work done.

Great ..here the next day and took care of everything. Some companies in the past have put me off since it is not a big job !

The guy I talked to on the phone said that they would probably charge around $200.00 but that we would get a safety inspection of our electrical service for our files too. We talked about the bulbs to be replaced and he said that LED would be the way to go and I said we had the old type but if LED was the way to go then we would go that way. I said I had the OLD bulb style not the NEW bulb style. When the technician arrived and looked at the fixture he said that they were not "candelabra" bulbs and that he did not have the bulbs on his truck (yes they are candelabra but only 3 of them). He stated that he was told that we had the bulbs. I told him that we were told that LED was the way to go and that we didn't have those. So he stated that it would cost a Level 4 price since he had to spend the time to go and get the bulbs. Level 4 was $9 more than I was quoted so I said "fine". He left to get the bulbs. When he returned he changed out the bulbs and made sure that they worked and then did up the bill. We ended up paying $202.00 for the Level 4 price and on top of that a $69.00 travel fee with a $12.75 TFS Charge (? what the **** is this), $24.97 in Taxes for a grand total of $308.72. No safety inspection was done....and he charged $69.00 for TRAVEL and was gone for less the 20 minutes which I thought was covered in the Level 4. Come on....what a con and a rip off. As I was typing this review the technician returned and returned the check we wrote to cover the over $200.00 in cash we paid out. He had talked to the guy on the phone (Tyson) and he told him to wave the fees. I'm still posting this review despite the returned check.

Arrived on time, work required one day plus the next morning, cleaned up afterwards. Professional, polite, friendly.

They did a beautiful job, and they were reasonably priced. They came on one day’s notice, which impressed me. I would highly recommend him to others.
