We made inquiries with several companies but only Elite construction contacted us with respect to getting a quote. After we sent Sergey some videos he gave a rough estimate to make sure it was within my budget and then drove the hour and a half to the site to do a final quote. I must admit I was expecting feedback, like this is too far for us to commute etc .. but Sergey was not fazed by that and after finding I had installed the wrong wall insulation we agreed on a price to fix that, sheetrock, texture, trim the windows/screen door on the East facing wall and paint the interior. Timeline wise we received the quote the end of May and it was anticipated that they could start the end of July, as it happened there was an opportunity to get some work done between other projects at the end of June. This happened and then they ended up completing the middle of July which was way beyond expectations and allowed us to enjoy some time in the Cabin during the Summer. Overall we were impressed with the excellent and professional communication and the quality and timeliness of the work, given this was a 3 hour commute every day to the site I thought the price was very reasonable. It went as planned. Sergy was looking out for my interest in selecting high quality speciality 22 foot long treated posts and higher rated 60 inch. schedule 80 pipe (as opposed to schedule 40 pipe) for a pull up bar. Very satisfied.

Living in a neighborhood where the parking space is very limited, we decided to inquire about a three car garage build in our backyard from Elite. Sergey gave us a fair quote and got us squeezed into his booked up schedule. The only difficult part of the whole project was the waiting to get started! We now have a spacious three-car garage that we also use for storage. Thanks to the whole crew, we'll never have to park a block away again!

This project was a huge success and it was a pleasure to work with Sergey. He listened to what we wanted, made a few suggestions and then he provided a fair and accurate estimate. He finished the project on time and within budget and was a consistent communicator throughout the project.

Working with the Elite team was a pleasure! They were friendly, punctual, VERY knowledgeable, had totally reasonable costs, and worked quickly and steadily. They did a great job and I would absolutely hire them again.

We just completed our 2nd large remodel project with Elite Contruction which turned out fabulous. This was almost a complete renovation on a 1929 house, taking out walls, replacing all windows, adding egress windows, complete remodel of kitchen and laundry room, rewiring, adding 2 bedrooms, decks, building a fence + much more. Sergey and the Elite team did a fabulous job on all of it! The 91 year old floors were patched, refinished and looked brand new! We appreciated Sergey’s ideas and suggestions, for example, the front concrete stairs were disintegrated and closed off as so hazardous. When discussing the stair replacement, Sergey suggested to not do this rather close off as there were 2 other entrances, instead creating a deck off the front entrance. This created value and a great space for our beautiful house! Thanks to the Elite Team we beautifully updated our 1929 home!

Sergey at Elite presented ideas of creating a functional room. What was created was so much more than we could ever have expected! Sergey and his team are talented, professional, prompt and dependable -if they said they would be there tomorrow at 7, they were there at 7, fun and so easy to work with. Sergey communicated every step of the way and involved us and our ideas along they way. Our house has a very unique style - slanted interior walls, curved exterior that made the project that much more challenging. This rotten room was transformed into a huge master suite with 9ft ceiling, several windows, slider, a full bathroom and a peaked roof to replace the flat roof. The room is beautiful and the exterior blends so perfectly to our unique house that it looks like it was always there! Thanks so much.

We had 2 egress windows done and another family member also had 2 egress windows done by Elite. Even though they were difficult windows to install they did a great job on all of them ahead of schedule! They were professional and took great care of us! Would recommend them for any work!

Sergei and his crew were very friendly, responsive and extremely hard working. I especially liked their attention to detail. We are extremely pleased with the end product and would hire them again for any other remodel work.

Very impressed with Sergei. He was on time, professional and went above expectations in fixing work that wasn't initially identified in the bidding process. He and his crew took their shoes off without being asked upon entering and beginning work. They also took care to keep a clean work area and cleaned up the entire space upon completion of the job. The project went great! I've been wanting project done for 9 years and nobody wanted to take my business or were too busy. Sergey was busy but he squeezed my project in. They were professional and honest. They cleaned up after. He checked with me often to make sure the project was looking the way I wanted. I would definitely hire this company again!

We were extremely happy with this companies work and willingness to go the extra mile. The owner was responsive, exceeded time expectations and did not add any additional costs to the original estimate. His employees were friendly and responsible. When we did have specific needs he was very responsive and was able to help us with those. The overall work was high quality.

They were responsive and did a great job. The computer wiring was not done as we wanted but it was corrected once we found the problem. We still have minor problems with one light not being functional but otherwise they did a great job.

He said he would come back with samples and give me an estimate. I never saw him or heard from him again.

Elite Construction & Remodeling is the best of the best. Sergey & crew have performed several major projects for us this past year, all of which we are completely satisfied with. We couldn't be more pleased. They are all very knowledgeable, experienced & respectful. We had already purchased our appliances & got quotes from the Big Box & specialty stores so had an idea what we were looking for. Sergey gave us a catalog of cabinets styles, finishes & accessories that he had available from Timberlake for us to choose from. Once we had an opportunity to browse, we sat down with Sergey & he helped us design a phenomenal layout that we were able to see 3D & touch some real live samples of cabinet doors. These were even better than what we had seen up to this point. We were pleasantly surprised to learn how soon we could expect delivery (3 weeks) vs. 6-8 weeks elsewhere. You can go with others for perhaps a little less but you won't receive the quality of workmanship, attention to detail or the support from the beginning to end of the project that you would get from Elite. When the cabinets arrived (on time) Sergey & crew even provided some additional customization for us. We finally got the kitchen island we always wanted! Sergey & his crew did a really good job also coordinating the install of a new hot water heater and flooring prior to the cabinets. Timing was crucial as we were also living here. Their tile work & finishing touches are amazing. We highly recommend Elite Construction for all your Kitchen and Bathroom renovations

I contacted Sergei Stefoglo, owner of Elite Construction in the Spring of 2015, and he came over and gave me a written quote. We then sat on the quote until at least late 2015, at which point we decided to proceed not only with the egress windows originally quoted, but with replacing two small sliders as well. I contacted Sergei to see what the Spring of 2016 would look like, and he indicated they could likely do it in January, but that prices of construction materials had gone up about 15%. He also updated his quote on the additional windows. We agreed to go ahead, and set a start date that ended up working out for February of 2016. They were to put in two egress windows and two additional small sliders, replacing the old broken metal casing windows (that had no screens). His crew showed up on time, and went to work on the outside on day one, and then worked on the inside for days 2-3. They were an excellent group of guys--extremely courteous. They did an exceptional job of cleaning up both inside and outside. The outside looked better when they left than before they got there, and the inside was very nice and clean. It was agreed that we would stain the window frames, but everything else was done rapidly, professionally, and very nicely in three days. They completed the job as scheduled, if not a couple hours before, and the cost was as agreed upon. Sergei was excellent to work with financially--I gave him 50% at the beginning, and just mailed him a check after the inspector cleared the work two days after the job was complete. The inspector was in and out--no concerns. We communicated almost exclusively by e-mail, a little by phone, primarily because that's when I have time to communicate after work. In that there was probably some miscommunication on paperwork--I thought he was going to pull the permit (it was always clear that the permit cost was above and beyond the bid, but who would pull the permit wasn't as clear). When the job was done and I asked Sergei about the permit, he indicated I'd need to take care of getting a permit and getting it inspected, though when I said I thought he was going to, he said he could, but preferred to stay busy on job sites and not spend his time at City Hall. He had been so good to work with I just went and pulled the permit myself, and had it inspected two days later. Not a big deal. I do prefer for a contractor to pull the permit though, and he was willing, just preferred not to do it. In an e-mail I asked for copies of papers showing proof of license, bond, and insurance. I don't know if he missed that in my e-mail, or didn't think it was worth the trouble. At one time he'd mentioned that he was licensed, etc., but we never really followed up on that. Again, seems to me to just be good practice that I try to follow to request those things. Probably if I'd asked in person rather than e-mail he would have provided it. I would highly recommend Sergei and his crew. I always want a crew that my wife feels comfortable around--that's my litmus test for how they are professionally and their level of courtesy. She appreciated them very much.

Complete professionals from the beginning. The estimate was just a little higher than my other estimates, but they were completely worth it. Always on time, courteous, and cleaned up each day. Answered all questions (and I asked a lot) and were flexible to changes along the way (Decided to paint closet and replace doors after they started). Revised costs were provided quickly and were reasonable. Never cut corners and explained when we should spring for more expensive materials and when the cheaper route was ok, and never tried to oversell us on anything. Also willing to do the nice thing--fixed a base board and replaced a difficult to reach light bulb just because it was an easy thing for them and was the nice thing to do. Owner oversees everything and holds his employees to very high standards, even had them come back to do some touch up painting at the end of the project. Well done and couldn't be happier. Will definitely call them the next time I need work done. Could not recommend them any more highly.
