Overall I was completely satisfied. I would call them again.

The technician was fast and thorough and obviously knows what he is doing. He has a friendly manner and offered a number of tips to help us avoid having problems in the futute. A positive experience in all respects.

When I called at 8 AM, Molly answered the phone promptly, asked appropriate questions. She called back with a price and provided an estimate of the time when a technician would be at my home. The technician, Jim, arrived on schedule, worked efficiently, and was courteous. He made safety recommendations that were helpful. Before leaving he checked the operation of the garage doors to make sure they were operating correctly. The doors now operate quietly and smoothly.

The work was completed to our satisfaction and the gentleman that came out to install the garage door opener was efficient and knowledgeable. He picked up all the trash from the new opener (box, packing, etc) and hauled the old opener away. That, alone, was very helpful and nice.

The worker came the next day. He was able to spot what the problem was. The other door companies would spray lube on the tracks and it would work for a while. The guy from Door Specialities said the lube was gunking up in the cold. He cleaned it up, replace some of the rollers and noticed that the door was flexing in the middle which was causing it to hang up. He recommended we put a reinforcing bar to stiffen the door. The door is now working!

We had trouble with the garage door not closing when we would leave or return home. For all intense purposes this is our front door which was ulcer causing for 7 months. We had 2 other national chains attempt repairs with one of them urging I replace my 1/2 hp with a bigger system with an estimate of $800! No problems with the door and would highly recommend this company.

The chain fell off uor old apparatus and the door was stuck. I looked them up on angies list .They gave an estimate over phone and made an appt and kept it and got the job done on time.Very pleased. all contacts were courteous and professional.

I thought their quote was competitive. I got a good reference from someone else for another company that was also cheaper so I didn't end up using Door Specialties.

Very professional service person, personable, efficient and explained what was necessary to repair. He worked quickly not wasting any time and he even ran over the first hour but did not charge additional hourly amounts, just first hour service charge and cost for parts.

Molly was very friendly and was able to have the repairman at the rental site within 2 hours. The service person (Bill) was very professional, showed up on time, and performed the repair in a timely manner -- no BS, just got down to business. I don't have prior experience with repairing garage doors, but for the hour and fifteen minutes Bill was there, $114 seemed very reasonable. After the repair, Bill greased the wheel rails and checked everything out. I'll definately call Door Specialties again!

I scheduled them to come and measure at 10am on Wednesday knowing my wife would be home until about 11:45am. When it was after 11am and they were not there, nor had they called, she called them to let them know she had to leave in a while and was wondering if they would be there soon. They were very nice and apologized for not giving a courtesy call. They told her go ahead and leave when she needed to and they would call back to reschedule. As she was heading out the door at 11:45am they showed up to measure saying they had not been told by their office to reschedule. They did the measurements and said they would be back a 9am Friday to install the new door. On Friday they were there 30 minutes early and did a fabulous job. We now have a very nice and functional garage door!!!
