They were very reasonable. They were punctual and very nice. They explained everything. They were very empathetic to my problem.

Steve is a journeyman plumber and it was clear he knew his plumbing. Came out to see what exactly I wanted done, I live an hour out of Spokane and he didn't charge to come out for this trip and ballpark estimate. He made a list of items he would need to bring and I scheduled the appt with the office. On the day of the appt, he came on time with a helper, worked almost a full day and was very pleasant. Checked with me on where I wanted the tub faucet and showed me or explained to me other issues or options on work I requested. I highly recommend Bulldog Rooter for any kind of plumbing issue you may have. I am one very satisfied customer and would call them again if needed.

We had Bill help us fix some leaky pipes last week. He was great, he showed up within an hour of me making the call to Bulldog, he was friendly, helpful and professional. Job well done!

mehiBeing a first-time home owner, I was a total neophyte regarding septic and sewage systems. We had never experienced a single problem with the septic system during 17 years of ownership. When Spokane County Utility Department contacted us concerning sewer connection, we were skeptical of the need for change and the process involved. So, after hearing their explanation of requirement for compliance, we were at a loss how to proceed. We gathered names of service providers from Home Advisor, Nickel-Nick and Exchange newspapers, joined Angie's List, and noted signs posted at homes in our area. We then contacted four contractors, who came to our home to survey the area, and returned with bids. For info: 1) Chris Folsom, Bobcat Service (Exchange news) came for a survey, but never followed up with a bid; 2) Ray Hanson, Capitol Construction (Home Advisor) provided a bid of $3,500; 3) Larry Miller Excavating (yard sign) bid $4,500; and 4) Bulldog Rooter (Angie's List) offered the service for $3,900. We chose Bulldog Rooter for several reasons: owner, Butch Jumalon, personally came to assess the project and explain the process. Throughout our several conversations, he emphasized the quality of their service and projection as to what we would experience during the four day process (dig, empty septic tank & permanently seal, lay connecting pipe, fill trench, return landscape). He also emphasized that at the end of each day, workers would clean the property, leaving it safe and clear of debris and rubble. Throughout our association, everything Butch told us was more than accurate. Each day, the lead digger and the worker (Butch's son) arrived at 7am and completed work around 7pm. They were hard working, yet precise in every task. Also, each responded immediately to any question or concern we had. Plus, Butch came to the site at least daily to track progress since the company had numerous on-going projects throughout the city of Spokane and the Valley. In conclusion, I couldn't be more pleased with Bulldog's service and work performed. I would recommend them for any excavating or plumbing work. They're honest, pleasant, and accurate in the services they provide.

Plumber was prompt, pleasant, professional and very proficient. He determined what the problem was, replaced the malfunctioning device and overall resolved what was a continuing problem. It was the best plumbing work I have gotten. I highly recommend using Bulldog for any and all plumbing needs.

We had another episode of plumbing problems and called Bulldog because of good service previously. They scheduled us and met their commitments. We continue to believe in their personal and professional service to our household.

John and his crew were fabulous. The entire house drainage was stopped up from a broken sewer drain and it became imperative to have the problems fixed as soon as possible. John was on site the next day. He located the problem, provided advice on the best solutions and started (and finished) the project without any delay. He was careful to listen to our concerns and act on them, for example, he took great care in protecting as much of the surrounding landscape as possible while still getting the job done. I will use him again for every plumbing need inside and outside.

EDIT: I don't want to deal with a problem from two months ago because i wrote a negative review of Bulldog Rooter. I don't want to be to contacted by Angie's list every day until I write a review and I don't want to be contacted by a business who deserved a negative rating.

Jesse was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable and came out to our home in less than an hour. He did a fanatasic job and we couldn't have asked for better service. We have already been recommending Bulldog Rooter to people we work with.

Steve came and did an excellent job with the above. He even threw in tightening my two toilet seats. He fixed a Lowe's installer's water heater mistake and listened to what I wanted and got the proper shower head to install. This is an excellent company, and now I don't have to do any more trial and error visits for an ethical, customer-oriented, reasonably-priced, quality-work plumbing company! This is now my "go-to" plumbing company and I think Steve should be called "St. Stephen" from now on. :)

Great job...Very professional people

Face it, when there is water coming out of the floor drain in the basement there is a problem at hand. Called the number and got a live person on the end (didn't happen with the previous call to another provider). Oh yeah, it was about 7:30 at night. Within 45 minutes Bill was at the house, unloading the power snake and getting started. Rammed through the roots, who knew they would be growing in the winter, and opened us up to the main sewer line out in the alley. Great service, great price and even though I hope I never have to call a plumber again, I know I will call these folks.

Bill showed up within a few hours of initially calling to have a water backup issue rectified. He tried to auger out our pip but couldn't due to a root going through the pipe. Through the process of puting a camera down our main line we determined that our 50 year old orangeburg pipe needed to be be replace as is was collapsing in sections and also had the huge root that had gone through it. We hired Bulldog to dig down about 6 feet to pull the old pipe out and replace it with a new 50 year warrantied pipe. They were clean and efficient and did a great job. They didn't even charge us for their initial service call (they came out about 8:00 on a Sunday evening) or for putting the camera down the pipe.

Steven came out and thawed out our pipes. He had a WONDERFUL attitde-even though we may have been his 100th call this weekend-Spokane was under a artic cold front for 7+ days. He then after leaving our place at 11:50 pm-went out to a home in Medical lake to help a elderly lade get her pipes thawed out. Will use these folks again and will recomend them too. I would like to thank Bulldog Rooter for there great customer service, professional employees and fair pricing. A tip of my hat to Rick in dispatching and Dylan the plumber who did a great job for us. To access the sewer clean out the dryer and washing machine had to be moved which Dylan helped move and when the job was done Dylan moved the washing machine back and connected the water lines. After connecting the washer Dylan went to move the dryer but I told him I would take care of it. Dylan even cleaned up what little mess there was on our old concrete basement floor. If you want great customer service, professional workmanship and fair pricing, call BULLDOG ROOTER! I will call them again.

EXCELLENT service, cost and after-hours response! Make them your first call for any plumbing needs, you will be glad you did. Situation: Spokane is suffering extreme winter weather warning conditions complete with single digit temperature conditions. We started the day with a frozen pipe, reviewed Angie's List, contacted (3) companys (not Bulldog) and lined up one of them to fix the frozen pipe. After they left, we discovered another issue, a leaking pipe. We tried to contact the first plumber to come back to fix it, the office was closed and no 24-hour emergency service. Back to Angie's List looking for a 24-hour emergency plumbing repair service. We hit the jackpot, discovering BULLDOG Rooter and are we glad we did. My husband explained the situation and they said we would be put on their list in order of our call and they should be able to get to us sometime during the night. We received a call at 10:30 pm asking if it was too late to come out to fix the leaking pipe. Steve Haller was here by 11:15 pm and had the situation under control and fixed within an hour. Steve had been on duty since 6:00 am, still had a smile on his face, great sense of humor and an awesome attitude. For all future plumbing needs BULLDOG Rooter will be our first call. We had a sudden issue over the Thanksgiving holiday with a blogged main sewer line. We consulted Angie's List and found Bulldog Rooter. Even though it was the holiday and even though they were very busy, they made time to come help us so we wouldn't have to wait out the holidays. They were fast, courteous and conscientious. I would definitely use them again and I would highly recommend then to others!

Over all a good experience. I would recommend this business to anyone needed the services they provide and I would use them again myself.

John and crew did an excellent job throughout the entire process. The only thing that Bulldog was not as strong on was their reluctance to install the iron filtration unit I purchased from a different company. They did recommend another local company, EcoWater that could, potentially install this unit, however Ecowater did not respond or return my calls in a timely manner, so I did not hire them. I hired a different plumber to complete the installation of the iron filtration unit though it could have been installed by Bulldog Rooter. While Bulldog Rooter is great about responsiveness 24/7 and not charging different rates for evenings and weekends, I generally do not like having to pay trip charges to service providers.

Bill was going to be a few minutes late but he called to let me know. He was very professional but friendly. He was also very polite. He kept me advised on anything he was doing. I would recommend Bulldog Plumbing. I plan to have a sink put in the kitchen and I intend to call them again and I also plan to ask for Bill.

I called to see if they could come take a look at a leak we were having. They offered to come out to give me a free estimate. He said "We like our customers to know what the cost will be before we even start". I like that too. He said they could send someone out to look at it in 30 to 45 min. The tech they sent out was on time and very friendly. He was courteous and did an excellent job. I will recommend them to my friends.
