"There were a few finish details needed resolved I as the owner admit. Myself the owner and original installer fixed the few minor issues within a week. Your stairs had a problem with the framing not the install of the vinyl which is why they squeaked. The proper way to fix the issue was rejected by the homeowners and that is why the stair squeak was delayed, all floor covering turned out 100% perfect and we even fixed a squeaky stair at no cost to the homeowner that was a result of old framing."

"Thank you for you response. Brothers appreciate your review. I'm surprised by the B rating as you stated we are better than most contractors. We also came to your job having to replace another company poor installation. The only reason why there was any dust is the previous contractor installed the floor over tons of drywall dust. When we were aware of the excessive drywall dust I promptly sent a cleaning crew (not many companies will pay to send a cleaning crew) at no cost to you to clean the dust left by the previous company. As far as price we are the most competitive price company in spokane usually 10-20% less than retail stores. You truly have the number 1 laminate ever to be made. Again thank you for your review but I again believe even in your review we are better than most contractors out there, we got you into the best laminate at a price less than any retail store, started and finished your project on time and the only issue which was dust, which was out of are control and left under your existing floor, was dealt with and we even went above and sent a contracted cleaning company to clean. I think that things things should reflect a A rating as a B seems like a average rating"

"[Member name removed] Thank you for your feedback I would like to address the following issues. 1. We did your job as a labor only and you purchased your flooring from a retailer. We always, when not selling are own product request that the customer or the retailer have the floor delivered as we don't profit off the product. If you purchase a floor from Brothers Flooring directly we always deliver the product. 2. Upon estimate we always let the customer know that with painted based we can remove and replace but there will always be paint touch up as anytime there is base removed. 3. As a company we never cut in a persons home but also try to cut in the most efficient space to perform the project in a timely manner. Even if the product was cut 100 yards away there is always dust residue on clothes and shoes that will transfer in the home (more so with laminate dust as it is a press board.) as well as dust from the removal of carpet and existing wood. 4. We have a resident cleaning lady and if there is any excess dust we make sure to schedule a dusting after install, the dust was a minimum and was swept and dry tacked upon completion. Brothers flooring thanks you for the opportunity to remodel your floor and will further take the criticism to help educate and communicate customers on the process of a remodel"

"I was very suprised when I read your review on angies list about us. We originally installed your kitchen dining and laundry. At that point you were very satisfied with are work so much you had us back to install your living room office and hall. Even then you were so satisfied you had us quote your stairs bedrooms and bathrooms. I had sent you quotes in march you requested a quote breakdown as you wanted to do the stairs only next. I re sent the quote with the option of doing the floor project on may 14th. You stated you would be busy then and probably need to schedule after school and graduation and after things slowed down. I haven't heard or received a email since then. As far as the vents are concerned we cut to the exact size of the opening I am sorry that they don't make vents for your opening but in a email on the 27th of march I told you I would have no problem looking at vent options when we scheduled the stair install. I feel that the whole process I have been very communicative with you and very flexible. I am a small business owner and this is how I provide for my family and those reviews can devistate my business. If you had any issues I would prefer you addressed with me first my phone is always on 24hrs a day. Please have it in your heart to at least consider changing the review as until today I thought you were a satisfied customer wanting more work done again call me any time to discuss. Thank you"

"The leveling was in tolerance of manufacturing warranties 3/16 in 10ft. We had suggesting the option of leveling but explained it was expensive and would delay the project. The choice was to make it better with some cardboard shims which would help the spongy spot. We level thousands of homes but the customer opted to not as well as we felt it wasn't major. The customers were 100% satisfied with the job and had no complaints until when they had a flood and the floor had to be replaced by my the insurance contractor he stated it could stand to be leveled then at that point is the only time they had a issue with the spot so from November when the job was complete until the floor was replaced in late may from the flood the customer only had kind words and great things about are craftsmen ship. It's sad other contractors can sway the feelings of people who truly enjoyed and loved are work and we truly loved doing the work for them all in all I'm glad your flood has been fixed and I enjoyed doing the work for you guys and the candy my son really enjoyed!"
