You know that stressful feeling in your gut when you need to hire repairs in your home? You begin the typical routine...you start by looking online...reading reviews...asking neighbors...take a chance and finally call someone...have to wait for a call back...schedule an appointment in a 4 hour time frame???? And then wait and wait and wait?? They might show...they might NOT! You will NEVER experience that frustration when you call Adam at Avery FIRST!!!! Our only hope is that we never have to have anyone other than Adam from Avery to work on our home appliances. Does exactly what he says. Is extremely generous with his incredible wealth of knowledge. This is one time, when having a repair person come to our house...was actually a pleasant experience. With Adam you will be in the very best hands!

I called 3 or 4 places and never received a call back except from Adam at Averys appliance repair. Adam was able to come out within 48 hours and let me know with a 2 hour time frame when he qould be there. Adam and Noel were very professional and knew exactly what the were talking about. They were quick and friendly ....I will always recommend Adam to anyone who needs an appliance fixed.

I initially called another appliance service provider whose was unable to respond for a couple of weeks and they referred my to Avery. The technician was here for a very long time and did not seem to be able to figure out what the problem was on the range and why the switches did not seem to work. He replaced the switches but the stove top did not work. I called him to come back the next day and he was unable to fix it. I believe he charged me again the hourly rate and left. I then called another service company, my original choice, (Jeffrey's Appliance) who eventually came out tested the range top and immediately replaced the circuit board for $412.35. So we now had $800.00 investment on an $1200.00 range that was only 5 years old. The Avery technician did tell me right away that the dishwasher needed to be replaced and he did not spend more than a few minutes looking at it before it was clear that it did need to be replaced.

The Service Tech was knowledgeble, but was like a bull in a china shop. We now have a scuff mark on the side of the fridge, and a slit in the vinyl flooring because he was not very "gentle" with the fridge. Nice guy, but he needs to add a little more "finesse" to how he does things.

They are a good outfit. They were excellent. There were never a surprise with billing. We got a phone call if it looked like there was a better way to handle it then just dealing with it. Everything was cleared so after inspecting the appliance they called to verify we wanted the work done. In one case the work to replace a $3 part would cost $300 so they called first to make sure we wanted it done. We'd use them in the future without a doubt.
