Atlas Tree Service

Atlas did a great job. The tree in question was next to a fence and close to power lines - no problem for Atlas, they just handle it all. The clean up was so thorough, I would hardly know they had been there except for the missing ash tree!

They were delivered a day after I called and were able to place them where I asked--which was difficult since I didn't have much space for the load! They were free and would accept no pay! Very nice men--I so appreciated their service and will definitely contact them if I need any tree service!

Atlas did such a good job here. All the trees in my yard really needed work, and now everything looks so much better.

Kirk was prompt and efficient in coming over to look at my project. He gave me prices on both trimming off the dead branches or cutting down the tree and grinding its stump below grade. Once we scheduled the work, he and his crew showed up as scheduled and did a very professional job. They also trimmed a few branches off other trees at no extra charge. Kirk then came to our other house a few blocks away and advised me on landscaping ideas there. He advised me against doing some of the things I was considering even though it would be work for him. He is a knowledgeable arborist and a good consultant.

k came on time (5 min early) tied back bushes near the base, rope lowered each branch to prevent damage as they came down, took off the top then dropped the main trunk bulls eye onto a pyramid of old tires they stacked up to save the lawn, spread a tarp to collect shavings when bucking up the huge main trunk log, raked up the shavings and pitchfork raised indentations and were gone under 3 hours. They were prepared! They brought a huge chipper and enclosed truck for the chips, and a huge trailer for the rounds. Another company we have used in the recent past (beware: they came door to door in our neighborhood) farm out the take away part to subcontractors in no hurry and failed miserably in the clean up, destroying our yard as the rounds sat for many days and no attempt was made to pick up debris killing the grass. They also under bid that other company by 8%.

Very pleased with Atlas Tree Service. Kirk called me and said he had a crew available to do the work and they came by and did a great job taking out all the shrubs and bushes and small volunteer growth. They cleaned up everything and took it all away. Quck and easy.

Some examples given above. Thorough, polite, knowledgeable. The large job took two days, but that was anticipated. Overall, other than plants that were necessarily damaged to access and climb trees, and large limbs falling on them, the experience was very positive. This is an expensive job, but done well, it is worth it. The area is opened up, neighbors compliment the change, and shrubs/trees are going to be more healthy.

They were outstanding. The owner/manager was out within an hour of call. He came out and assessed the situation. He was able to get a crew out within hours. They came back and cut up, hauled away the wood. He came back a third time to grind the stump down. They cleaned up everything. They even took leaf blowers and cleared the saw dust from the driveway.
