About us

American Guttersmith is committed to offering the best quality gutters available today, at fair and competitive prices. This is achievable by using the right parts necessary for your home, then applying function first techniques during the installation. I, Jonnathan Smith, own American Guttersmith. I also install every job and know they are done right. Every gutter we install has a ten year warranty. We offer a twenty year warranty on our maintenance free systems.

Services we offer

We clean, repair and replace old gutters. We offer maintenance free gutter systems. Our gutter covers come in the very same colors available as your gutters or roof.

Services we don't offer

At American Guttersmith we do not offer heat-tape, de-icing cable, or heat cable. In almost all situations, these products are a "band-aid fix". It is our opinion that proper insulation and ventilation is the solution to ice damning. About the only exception is vaulted ceilings in the effected areas.

Description of Work: This is the second year that I've used them to clean my gutters and the results are the same both times: excellent. They responded in a timely manner, arrived and completed the messy task as scheduled. In fact, since I was at work when they came this last time, other than the sparkling clean gutters there was no way to tell that they'd been here. No debris anywhere and no damage at all to any of the foundation plants. I would never use anyone else and it's not just because of the very fair price.

It was pretty expensive. The communication and professionalism was good. Their responsiveness was slow.

They were efficient and thorough. When asked they gave me an estimate on some additional gutters we inquired about and educated us on the different types with the pros and cons. How refreshing, an honest, genuine company looking out for their clients. Thank you American Guttersmith =)
Description of Work: John's crew cleared a clogged gutter spout on our 3rd story landing and then checked and cleared all the other gutters that we had on our property.

The company owner showed up promptly, and provided me with a large set of color matching coupons to select a gutter color. His original quote was to replaced some sections of damaged gutter. He did that and more, realigning other sagging gutters and replacing two gutter corners in another area of the house. I'm an engineer, so pretty picky about quality. The workmanship was excellent. He "under-promised and over-delivered". I am very pleased. I'm thinking of building a house. If I do, American Guttersmith will be first on my list for gutters.
