He came out and was very knowledgeable. I was able to get written emails with estimates in them. He was very willing to explain the work of furnaces and air conditioners and I was very enlightened by what he had to say. I was impressed by them.

Ordered furnace late in afternoon, installers arrived early the very next morning. Crew was personable, polite and very professional. They welcomed all questions and explained every detail patiently and clearly. Had a bit of adjustment to do on existing furnace ductwork which they completed cleanly and neatly, actually improving on what had been done before. This is the third furnace/ac installation we've had done by Hurliman and we've have had an excellent experience every time. We have confidence in their work and their product. Highly recommend them.

We had an aging and less efficient furnace. We had Hurlimans first service our old heater, then we announced we wanted an estimate. The serviceman said our air conditioner was in good shape and that it was not useful to replace it, but that the heater could be more efficient. The serviceman gave us several alternatives, a cost recovery estimate for the heater with appropriate caveats, everything professional. And said there was no charge for the service, since we setting up for the new system. The office personnel, re scheduling, were efficient, well-spoken, precise and friendly. The doorbell rang just about exactly when they were promised to arrive. The installers. were exceedingly nice guys, clean, professional---they had exactly the right tools, had to do some drilling and had everything absolutely neat. I appreciate when a workman cares to have clean feet, protects the premises---and works steadily, to get the job done. They tested their work. They replaced the upstairs thermostat with no dings in our wall paint. They told us what to expect, and we are very happy

They did a great job, on time and on budget. They moved my new furnace to a better location so I could better utilize the space in my basement. Overall they were good guys and did a great job

I did like the salesperson that came out and met at my house. He was an extremely nice person and did a lot personally to help me out with issues. I can only say great things about him personally. However, the company itself, the owner above him, I didn't really care for as they didn't give a darn about anything except getting paid the same day the furnace was installed. The bottom line is that after the install , the new furnace failed the inspection. IN fact, if I hadn't pressed the issue, they wouldn't have even done an inspection! I had to call three or four times to get the inspection. They told me the inspection would be the next day after the install. No inspector showed up. So I called and was told sometimes they get busy, and wait till the next day. Still no inspector the next day. So I called at least two more times to finally get an inspector out a week later. Then It failed on three counts: no combustion air intake into the furnace room, no CO detector, and no duct affidavit. OK buying a CO detector no big deal. Having them do the duct affidivate is also no big deal. But cutting two proper size openings in the sheet rock and installing the grills to allow combustion air into the room is a bit of a personal hassle to me. Of course they are not offering to do it. They would charge somewhere around $90/hr to do it I was told. So I now have to calculate the proper opening size and cut and install the grills myself. So that is my beef. They really do a minimalist job and leave you picking up the pieces if anything goes wrong. Or paying more money at somewhere around $90/hr to fix the problem. I should have investigated using R&R heating a little closer instead. They also gave me a bid. A Much more professional looking bid, and guess what it said RIGHT ON THE BID: Provide permits and meet all code requirements (INCLUDED IN THE PRICE!). So all the stuff I'm doing? Could have had done for me by R&R. The only reason I didn't choose R&R originally was because their bid was a fair amount higher. BUT! They had bid a two stage furnace instead of a 1 stage furnace that Hurliman bid - a much more expensive furnace. So later, I asked the sales guy (who I spoke to many times after the install) what it would have cost for a two stage furnace, he told me it would have cost the same as what R&R bid! So... in summary, if I had done an apple to apple comparison on prices on the same furnace, I would have found for the same price I could have had a much more professional job without any of the hassle I currently have. And I do believe based on everything I dealt with R&R they are a more professional company. Oh, and part of the reason I say R&R was a more professional company is that they even said the combustion air thing would be an issue and needed to be remedied. Hurliman didn't notice it.

From the initial quote to the final setting & instruction on use of the new digital thermostat for the purchased Carrier furnace, I found the people I worked with to be very professional and proficient with the work they performed.

I've been using their services for 13 years already and so far I am still very happy with their work. They keep the same clientele and get the things done right away. The staff is very friendly, courteous and they offer a reasonable price.

I would recommend them to friends and family. They are excellent. They were very competitive.

The team at Hurliman's was very patient with me as I asked many questions before making the purchase of the air conditioner. I even showed up unannounced at their office and John, the owner, took time to go over the bid again. Work was done on time and the crew cleaned up the area.

I've used them for almost 13 years. They keep the same people so I always know who I am dealing with. They are the best. They even do additional little things. They fixed my fireplace screen and said that I didn't need to call someone else for that.
