Hurliman Heating & Air Conditioning

It went great. The two men that came out were professional and very polite. They arrived on time at 8am. The problem was the "oil guy" forgot to come out. The workers were very flexible. They called the oil person for us, left to do another job and came back and finished our job once the oil was removed.

The Hurliman technician discovered the reason for a small gas leak during the maintenance. Due to the age of the unit it did take a little extra time to find the necessary parts. Thank you...

They came out right away and did a tune up which fixed the problem. Excellent service!

Finally called Hurliman. They made an appointment for the following week at 9:00am. He arrived on time, and in less than 5 min Bryan the tech figured it out and fixed it! I now have a nice cool bedroom and I am beyond happy! Thank You Bryan! The young man was so polite and professional, thought those kind of people didn't exist anymore.

Insert deemed condemned 5 minutes into service call

I wasn't sure what the service was supposed to be. The guy that came wasn't here no longer than 15-20 minutes. I'm not sure what that service was supposed to include, but it wasn't vacuumed or anything like that. All the dust and dirt was still left in it. It didn't work the first use. The first time we tried it. It is kind of getting better now. It's kind of intermittent, but it does work. My wife did all of that, and I don't think she was very happy with it. The inside of it in the bottom of it, that was done some time in June or July or somewhere around there, but anyway the bottom of it I opened it up because it wasn't working very well. Oh, and the pilot light went out and I had to start the pilot light. It's pretty ugly inside. It wasn't cleaned out or anything. They were on time. I wouldn't call them again.

Our technician has 28 years of experience from which we benefitted. He worked quickly and efficiently and was great with whom to discuss fireplace issues. We are very happy with Hurliman Heating and Air and will be using them for our furnace as well.

Another company could not fix it, so I called Hurlimans. Their first technician couldn't figure out the problem either, so they sent out their expert. He found the first company had incorrectly rewired a replacement part they had installed.

Very well. Service man staid with the job until his satisfaction was obtained.

It went okay, our only complaint was that the report was left on the furnace since there was no one there - and becasue we were living 300 miles away, we didn't know it was there, or that it was available for the prospective owner.

It went well, except that they didn't notify our realtor that they had left the report in the home, and we were out of town sellers.

Here on time after confirming the day before. Completed work quickly, no mess and passed inspection. A supervisor checked in to make sure we were satisfied.

The technician (sorry we did not get his name) arrived on time and immediately knew what the problem was. He replaced the faulty pump and also checked over the rest of the furnace. We felt the cost was very reasonable--and we got 10% off with the Angies List coupon. The next morning (Saturday) the furnace was not working properly. The same tech came back and immediately found a switch that had been inadvertently switched off--probably when the furnace cover was replaced. No charge. Even though he had to come back, we were very pleased with the service. The technician who came was very helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely call him again if we should have further problems.

I felt like I threw it away because they didn't do anything while they were here that I could see except for waiting for the fan to come on. They were only here for 45 minutes to an hour. I didn't see him do any cleaning. They did say that the blower wasn't working and that he would try to see if he could get another one. He was supposed to call me Friday because they were over on a Thursday but he never called me. I called on Tuesday to find out what's going on. He called me back Wednesday to let me know that he couldn't get one and that was the end of it. He didn't leave any paperwork of what they did. I was not happy. It was awful. I wasn't impressed. They just were not professional.

It went very well. Upon entry, the tech noticed immediately that the color of the flame indicated that the unit required servicing.

It went good. They gave me a quote to repair a heat pump as well. They were on time, polite, and efficient.

The central air was not keeping up as it had in the past so I decided to have it looked at, cleaned and serviced. The young man arrived on time and was polite and pleasant. He went right to work and was done in a timely manner. I can't say what all he did as I know nothing about the central air unit. This is the first one I have ever had. I do know he did not measure temperature difference between supply and return or Inspect the duct work for energy loss. He did replace the filters with new ones I had next to the furnace. When I called to make the appointment to have our air conditioner checked out, I mentioned I wanted to have the thermostat replaced with a programmable one. The young man had no knowledge of my request or of oil furnaces in general. I was very disappointed that the work could not be done that day. Seems to have been a breakdown in communication between the scheduler and the service tech. And yes, I explained to the scheduler I had an oil furnace. I was happy that he had not found anything wrong. Unfortunately the unit has still not been able to keep up, so I am still unsure why.

/they responded very quickly to set up appointment and were able to get me in within a week. The service man was very polite and nice to my nosey dogs. That is huge for me. Anyway he did the service quickly and quietly with no mess. I got a invoice with all the results of inspection and he spoke with me about what all the information meant. I was very impressed with service and value and will be using them for all my heating and air-conditioning needs in the future.

We conducted inspections with two different local vendors, Hurliman was one of them. Their assessment was contrary to the other company, so there was some back and forth about the true status of our unit. We never used the credit of package purchased and John the owner said we could apply it in the future for an alternate time....but, as of yet, we have not done that or needed to do that. Service that I bought wasn't actually done however, John did work with me to attempt obtaining the correct information regarding our furnace condition.

We had a miscommunication over where he was supposed to go. He went to my main home instead of the house I wanted him at (which was two blocks away). Originally ran late, but did call with a new time. Serviced furnace without any problems and checked everything out finding no problems. Good experience, would use again.

Came on time. Did the inspection. Changed the filter. Price as stated. Will use again.

Was not there. Will see how the quality is this winter.
