Description of Work: They completely cleaned my outdoor air conditioner inside and out. They found I was low on freon and brought it up to capacity. |Unrelated to their service, I have a caution which affected me this past week. I discovered water coming up from my kitchen hardwood floor as I walked on it. I called a water damage specialist to come. He could find no broken pipes but tracked down the running water to my "furnace". He explained that with the air-conditioner running all the time, the metal piping and body of the furnace develops condensation. He found water actively overflowing from a resevoir on top of the unit. There is a drain built in to carry this away, but a screen in the drain had become plugged. It was probably the original 30 year old screen. My insurance wouldn't cover this because it wasn't a broken pipe, but a "maintenance" issue that I should have taken care of.I now face a $5,000 bill to replace flooring and relevel the floor. Check yours today! Maybe Hurliman could make this one more thing to check in providing their service. Just a suggestion. I attach no blame to their fine service.

Description of Work: They serviced the furnace. It took them about 45 minutes. Very professional. Will call them in the future.

Description of Work: I originally scheduled a furnace tune-up (Angie's Big Deal), but when the technician looked at the furnace, he discovered that the problem was much more involved than a simple tune-up. The furnace was actually leaking fluid/gas and had to be shut down immediaterly for my family's safety. |I told the technition that my water heater was leaking even though it have just been repaired. He looked it over carefully and determined that there was a great deal of corrosion on the inside of the tank and it was even coming through the sides of the tank. Both the water heater and the furnace were about 29 years old and needed to be replaced. He gave me a quote on how much the entire job was going to cost. It was very fair! The Hurliman Team was ready to do the work immediately. It was actually me who had to put it off for a few days until my schedule cleared. When the two gentlemen arrived for the job, they settled in quickly and got right to work. Both men are clearly very skilled as they finished the job with no delays. They also cleaned up all of the debris, swept the entire garage and hauled the old furnace and water heater away. All of my interactions with Hurliman Heating have been very positive. I even received a Vallentine's Day gift from them with a nice "Thank you!"

Description of Work: They did not make their first scheduled visit. I asked for an estimate for a replacement unit and they provided prices without the equipment sizes models or manufacturers. When I asked for the missing information it was provided. The person providing the quote was new.

Description of Work: They came out and gave quote for new carrier furnace and we decided to go with them for the install. The installers were great and performed an excellent job. Their is an a problem wit the furnace they installed. The carrier furnace that was installed was presented by carrier on there website to have a feature that is actually not on the furnace that was installed. This was confusing for the good people at Hurliman heating and to myself. Hurliman heating is in the process of talking to carrier to try and resolve this issue and I will update this with the outcome. I give Hurlimen heating an A for there outstanding service. How I would rate Carrier depends on how they resolve my issue.
