Covington Painting and Remodel was knowledgeable about the repairs we needed done and suggested solutions. Chris and his painting crew were friendly, professional, and on time. Forman Robert did an through walkthrough on the last day ensuring a complete job. I will recommend Covington painting to others.

Started and completed the job as promised. Cleaned up as they went and when finished. Addressed touch up areas on the exterior of the house promptly. Helped move my furniture back into my interior rooms. Crew was professional and personable.

Prompt responses. Explained all aspects of job thoroughly. Job was small, however, he worked quickly and finished it. He did not do the work in between other, larger jobs.

They were very prompt and extremely cooperative with any request asked of them. It was done in a very timely manner and looks great, they were very careful of items/flowers around my house. Certainly a 5-star company!

They were in and out quickly and were very reasonably priced.

Chris was very knowledgeable about his craft and his workers were top notch and very respectful to me and the job at hand.

Chris came out and gave an estimate. Later sent a painter to do some indoor (ceiling) painting for us. One room was fine. One room was very streaked. He sent her out again (with another person) and they "touched it up" I guess, but it still was very streaked and choppy looking. She didn't cover some of the furniture and there were paint splatters on an end table and she was standing on our wicker furniture to reach parts of the ceiling. Not a good idea! The ceiling paint still looked "choppy". Chris said it was probably the type of ceiling we had - it had just been primed and textured - ? He came back and gave it a few swipes, literally, with his brush here and there. Went and cleaned his brush in my bathroom sink and called it good. Also had some outside painting done in a few areas. There was a little miscommunication on that, however, there was overspray on the windows, which, I think we were expected to clean up. We asked him to do it. He asked us for our window cleaner and paper towels and he sort of cleaned it up. The hardware on the door had quite a bit of paint on them that wasn't wiped off. Chris kind of cleaned that up. There was a little paint on our outdoor furniture (that wasn't covered when painting) but he said it wasn't anything a little cleaner couldn't take care of. A small spot of paint had dripped on our front brick pathway, probably from equipment, and we asked him to clean that up for us. I don't know what he used to clean it with, but it left a stain of some sort! And there is a small chip on our front gate post probably from the equipment going in or out. Quite careless.

He made my outdated kitchen look cute. Great job would hire again.

Work well done in timely manner..

Chris was very helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Some paint smears on edges and scrapes paint chips left after finished, but nothing I can't take care of. Glad for their help.

We hired Chris, $2000 total, to finish the kitchen we started painting,add quarter round base and the big project , restoring the original 1910 hand painted black and white squares and clear coat them. We asked that he sand rough spots prior to painting. He's pleasant enough, big promises on his talent and 'painting is my passion ' he said repeatedly. He showed up when agreed. I'm a disabled vet with banged up ankles, so while 2k was a big investment for us, it was worth it, if it saved my pain. I'm recently retired from 20 years in the merchant marine. I know what is professional tradesman practice and what is not. Immediately after getting his 1000 down he forgot what he, my wife and myself spoke about. He put one see through coat on the ceiling. He wasn't going to touch up the baseboards. Everything was like pulling teeth. And he complained loudly about being tired, and sore. The quarter round went in without trouble. He had to use my broom and caulking gun. The sub painter he brought in to help with the taping did incredible work. The squares were sharp. My wife and I stayed out of the kitchen for two days. We moved all non perishables to the dining room and gated off the kitchen. The clear coat was applied by Chris. No sanding, scuffing, just laid it on. There's hair and dirt in it. Sneaker marks that aren't mine (size 14) my wife's (size 8) or the sub painter as he was barefoot. There's paint on hinges, paint on folding door. There's paint in my kitchen sink, on my faucets, both kitchen and bathroom. Even on a towel next to the bathroom sink. I did pay him because I wanted to be done with him and I wanted his sub to get paid. I have pictures of all of this. Many many pictures. So now my leg braced gimped up legs are up on a ladder painting the ceiling and walls.my wife scrubbed the floor and is repainting the squares. Next I get to clear coat but instead of a dirty mop I might use the right equipment. Next project I'm getting three bids and looking at previous work.

Chris and his crew did a great job and stepped in and tackled this big job when another painting company decided it was too much work for them. Terrific work ethic!
