We Are Lawn Care

Tom and his colleagues attempted to cut down a tree that sits between my house and my neighbors house. I asked no less than 3 times if he was bonded and insured. Tom assured me he was. After they changed plans (plans I had cleared with my neighbor due to the proximity of the houses) during the job without saying anything, they cut the top of the non-limbed tree off and dropped it on my neighbors roof. Turns out Tom isn't insured. Or Bonded. Or Honest. He came back and tried to get $200 out of what was supposed to be a $600 job under the guise of 'needing a cherry picker to complete the job'. I didn't give him a single penny. They never came back. I opened a case and had him fined through the Department of labor and Industries in Washington state. Apparently his dad is known to them as a non-license contractor as well, as then investigator sent me a picture via email and asked if that was Tom's father. It was. Bottom line is avoid these guys. They do work without following the law and will cause you a big headache.
