Thurman was about the only company around that worked on residential boilers in the Tacoma area. Great company and enjoyed working with them! Reasonably priced and great customer service. They installed a new boiler for us and removed an old boiler that took 4 guys to move in our old early 20th century home. Would hire them again any time.

Retired Air Force HVAC specialist. He does great work, gets it fixed the first time or comes back until it is fixed. Utterly fair and honest, integrity in all aspects of his business. I won't allow anyone else to work on my HVAC.

He was on time, and knew what he was doing.

I was really excited to find Thurman's. It is increasingly difficult to find folks who know boilers and radiators. Thurman quickly zeroed in on my heating issues and resolved. Also greatly appreciated Bill Thurman's patience in walking me through the details and issues of my system in language that a layperson could understand. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Fixed my oil furnace issue for my rental even after the tenant failed to answer the door at the scheduled time. They came back later which was great of them to do.

I'll hire this company again.

Excellent communications before and during the job. Gave us a free estimate, unlike Sound Heating that charged $275 just to come out and look at the problem. Bill Thurman gave us a couple options and then educated me on the advantages of each. Not the least expensive, but the job was done expertly and on schedule. Will recommend to anyone!

Thorough and knowledgeable, took the time to pass on some of that knowledge to enable me to address some simple issues, like bleeding air from the system. Only charged for a half hour. I didn't know anyone billed for less than a full hour, regardless of the amount of time spent. Very pleased with the service.

Hired for our elderly father, whose heat went out during very cold weather. Tech got heat working temporally and ordered parts for complete fix. Worked until it was fixed and price was very fair!

Expert at oil furnaces which is hard to find. Fixed the problem in 30 minutes

Fast contact in regard to the repair done. Scheduling was easy and the service on-site was fast. Very informative and walked me through the upkeep for my system. I will be using him for the future needs in the area of Heating/Cooling. Rates very reasonable.

Really nice gentleman who brought friendly younger worker whom he was training, but still fast and good service. I was going to hire someone else to fix our electric problem, but after mentioning it to him he was able to fix that as well, so it saved me the hassle of hiring someone else. Would recommend

I had no experience with an oil-fired furnace, yet I bought a 50 year old house that included "original equipment." Bill informed me that the furnace had apparently been serviced regularly and was in serviceable condition. He walked me through everything I should know about care and feeding of the entire system, including letting me know how much oil I currently had in storage. Very knowledgeable. Very customer oriented. Definitely recommend.
