Weaver Remodeling

His name is Brett Weaver. I would give him an excellent 5-star rating. He was professional and trustworthy. He had a broad range of experience and was able to handle a broad range of jobs with minimal input on my part.

The townhouse purchase was built in 1974 and updating included refinishing "popcorn" ceiling, installing new appliances i.e. dishwasher, stove and microwave, taking up old flooring and carpet and installing new engineered flooring replacing new electrical lighting, replacing sinks and bathroom fixtures. 
Mr. Weaver was inconsistent on time and date of arrival to work.
1.) He was VERY INCOMMUNICATIVE, refusing to answer any questions of pending work.  Referred to me as "you people".  He
      had an assistant, Linc that kept saying he doesn't do this work, he works on golf courses and yelled to Mrs. Weaver on one
      occasion that he couldn't leave for the day until "he fixed the f****** faucet" in the hall bath.
2.) He was incapable of finishing floor detailing after several attempts leaving unfinished raw wood to be completed by other.
3.) Installed a Kitchenaid stove without attaching it to the wall (as required by law).  It is still unbraced.
4.) Left kitchen cabinets unfinished, one not even started leaving an empty hole in the kitchen (pictures available)
5.) Left plumbing under kitchen sink unconnected when installing dishwasher resulting in significant leaking under sink (repairing
      plumber available for verification)
6.) Did not return after being paid a second check of $8,031 in good faith for completion of work in progress.
7.) Did not invoice his work.
I would like $3000.00 returned to me for work left undone as I had to find alternative contractors to finish and/or repair work poorly executed.  New flooring contractor asked who did this shoddy work.

Because I had used Weaver Remodeling before when we redid our kitchen and loved the experience, I called them to help me out with a variety of small projects around the house to get ready for my inlaws to come for a visit. Brett understood my short time frame and worked me into his schedule right away. They were fast, and did a great job. The job wasn't supposed to include any painting, but they could see that we weren't that experienced and offered to help. They were great! Dee Dee steered me away from a disastrous paint choice and is one of the best "cut in" people I have ever seen.
