Rodney estimated the tile work to take two days (it was three walls from the top of the tub to the ceiling). Tile work started on 7/21 and wasn't finished until 7/26. The tile work is awful! Tiles are uneven, protruding from the wall, chipped and cracked. The grout had holes, cracks, areas of grout were missing between the tile, other sections were just crumbling and none of the grout is the same color. The wall across from the shower head is uneven and bowed! Shower niche was installed in the wrong wall. I asked Walker Construction to cover the new tub after I spent several hours cleaning the tub trying to get rid of marks and nicks, scrape off the red material used on the cement board, the texture and the paint that covered the inside of the tub. However, the workers continued to scrape, scratch and nick up the new tub inside and out so much so it no longer looks new. I was advised, specifically to purchase Moen hardware to make the replacement of the shower hardware easy. Construction started on 7/17. It wasn't until the "final" day of work on 7/26 when someone tried installing the shower hardware and realized it didn't fit. They had to remove the newly installed surrounding tiles and cement board, replace the valve, replace the cement board and tile, extending the project another 1.5 weeks. Before the walls were textured and painted, I gave Rodney feedback that they looked rushed, sloppy and were not acceptable, but his workers still went ahead and textured and painted and they looked even worse!
