Great! We had been repairing our old furnace every year for years and then in May of 2012 the exhaust fan bearings went. We decided to replace it and called Robert to take a look. He gave us an excellent quote for a top of the line American Standard furnace and Heat Pump Installation with the American Standard Electronic air filtration system. We paid just over $10,000.00 in advance and he and his crew went to work. We had not had a heat pump prior to this so electrical permits had to be obtained and a pad for the pump installed. All the work was done in a few days, inspections completed and a walk-through with us done. It has been over ten years now and we have not had a single glitch in all that time. I am not sure if Robert is still in business but, if so, I would recommend him.

Overall: work was shoddy, of poor workmanship, caused minor damages to existing furnance and washer, and fail to fully complete job and did not clean up mess. Details: Robert Alexander (Robert) from Secure Comfort came on Friday, May 10th, 2013 and give a bid to install a Coleman central air conditioning (A/C) unit and an electronic air cleaner for $4,062 inclusive of sales tax. We hired Robert from Secure Comfort to do the A/C and electronic air cleaner installation because we thought the bid was reasonable and the installation can begin the very next Monday on May 13th. We paid in full when the work order/contract was signed on May 10th. The installation will take approx. 1.5 days and to be completed by Tuesday, May 14th at 2:30pm according to Robert. My wife and I can't be home all day on Tuesday, May 14th, because we both have to work. I arrive home at 2:30pm on Tuesday, May 14th and found the job not completed. Robert said that it should take another 2-3 hours so I returned back to work. I aked my wife to check on the progress of the A/V installation when she gets back home at 4:30pm. When my wife return home on Tuesday, May 14th, Robert and his help had already left. Robert failed to perform a walk-through or demonstration of work performed to get a final sign off from us. My wife and I did an inspection of the installation of A/C and electronic air cleaner and found the work performed to be shoddy, poor quality, and the coolant pipeline impedes the functionality of our recessed shelving. In addition, Robert and his help caused minor damages to our furnance and washer. We have called and left messages for Secure Comfort and Robert wanting to address these issues but so far no response. Robert and Secure Comfort stated that the labor and parts are warranteed for one year. We will assume due to the non-responsiveness of Secure Comfort that Robert will not honor the warranty. Below are what we found the installation of our A/C unit by Robert and Secure Comfort to be unsatisfactory: - General appearance of A/C installation to be shoddy, poor workmanship, and caotic in appearance. - Exterior siding where Coolant and water pipeline exit the house was not properly sealed and has a gaping hole that water and pest can come through. Interior wall where the pipeline enter the house was not sealed. From inside the house we can look through where the pipeline came in and see outside. - During the A/C installation the bracket inside the furnance that holds the air filter was damaged. Robert and Secure Comfort also threw away the original washable air filter that fits the furnance. (We would like to keep the original air filter in case the electronic alr cleaner breaks down.) - During the A/C installation the control panel in front of our front loading LG washer was defaced. Looked like something was spilled on the control panel and was then sanded off. We could clearly see how a 4" by 3" area of white glossy paint was sanded off along with the operation/instruction lettering and the metallic material (panel) underneath the paint is now showing. A good looking washer now appears beat up and worned. - The coolant pipeline was not connected by following the drywall of full size recessed shelving but right across it in between shelves. The pipeline now blocks access to one of the shelves and impedes the storage function. - Robert and Secure Comfort did not clean up and left a mess. - Robert and Secure Comfort did not give us a final walk through and demonstation of the functionalities of the A/C unit and electronic air cleaner installed. We regret to have hired Robert Alexander and Secure Comfort to install our Central A/C unit and electronic air cleaner.
