Sammamish HVAC came out to service my furnace and told me I had a cracked heat exchanger and the best course of action was replacement. He also told me the gas line and duct work were installed incorrectly and they too needed to be replaced. My home is built in 1983 and all duck work and gas lines were original to the construction and permitted at the time of install. The furnace was replaced prior to my purchasing the home in 2001. I told Sammamish HVAC I would be getting a second opinion which made him angry. Two opinions later I find out I do not have a cracked heat exchanger and the plumbing is fine as well. For 8 months I have been receiving letters and calls from this guy beacause I posted a negative review on a website and didn't take his advise and replace everything, and now I received a letter from the city alleging my furnace was not permitted when it was installed. This guy went to the city to try and get even with me! Upon my response to the city, they are satisfied I did nothing wrong and have closed the case. This guy is very scary using such malicious retaliation. Be very cautious.
Description of Work: Sammamish HVAC was hired to perform a basic cleaning and tune-up of my furnace in July 2008.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT. I NEEDED IT DONE IMMEDIATELY AND IT WAS. THERE WAS NO DELAY, THEY CAME OUT THE DAY AFTER I CALLED. THEY WERE NEAT AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEY WERE FINISHED.
Description of Work: REPLACED OLD FURNACE.
