Excellent work with friendly technician

I hired Mad Piper's to install a new tub and 3 piece surround in my main bathroom and had nothing but problems. The first mistake was they recommended, ordered and installed a tub and surround that was to big. They installed a 32 inch deep tub and surround and it clearly needed to be a 30 inch. The one they installed went past my door frame. When I pointed it out they recommended either reframing/moving the door or downsizing to a smaller door. These were not viable or acceptable options. They offered to replace it with a 30 inch but said it would take a month to get it. I was able to track down the exact 30 inch model they recommended at the nearby Lowe's, bought it and with a friend's help got it to my house for them to do the swap. I then had to wait another week or so for them to come back out to fix their mistake. They swapped the tubs and surrounds but didn't install the spout, valve handle or overflow trim which I assumed meant they expected me to install it. I paid them $2,900 and assumed all the trim would be included as part of the install but figured it's not that big a deal and would just do it myself. Several weeks went by and after I got the drywalling and painting done I went to install the tub trim. This is where I ran into another problem/mistake. They plumbed the overflow in a way that required a special trim cover that they didn't supply me. The issue is that since they left me to do all that myself they should've done it so that I can go to any local hardware store and get a part that could work. They did not. I had to call them yet again, explain the situation and was told they don't use standard parts like that but could get me something that would work. I had to wait over a week again for them to get the part and come out to install it. I was skeptical but figured it was better to wait and see than start cutting drywall. Luckily for me the part worked well and looks good, it just should have been installed from the get go so I didn't have to waste more time. On top of all that there's another mistake. They installed a chrome trim piece around the drain. Problem is all my trim is brushed nickel, which the installer should have known since it's clearly on the trim kit box that he got the valve out of. So now I have a single piece of chrome trim that stands out even though everything else is brushed nickel. What made this experience so frustrating, other than the multiple mistakes, is my house was built in the 70's and has only 1 tub/shower. All these mistakes cost me well over a month, which meant an extra month plus of not having a shower and having to drive to a family member's house in Everett to take a shower. That gets old quick, especially when gas is over $5 a gallon. All these mistakes and no one ever reached out and attempted to make things right. I definitely don't feel valued as a customer and regret hiring them. Do yourself a favor and hire a different plumber or you might have to deal the constant mistakes like I did.

The problem was more complex than first thought. They did addition work and stayed with the original estimate. Professional plumbing team.

I needed some additional work done to remove a kitchen disposal and put new pipes in and also to have pipes replaced on a back bathroom we had just remodeled. Mad Pipers did such a great job with the large re-piping job I hired them for over the summer, I didn't hesitate to call Zack & Ragen for the quote for the additional work. They replied promptly and we scheduled the work within a few days. The work was completed by Curtis who arrived on-time and did a great job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services!

I t went well. They checked everything before they left and it was working properly. They explained hw to use the new toilets. A new new leak appeared the next morning and they cane right away to fix it.

Mad Pipers did an excellent job on the work! Zack provided the original estimate. He was responsive, punctual, answered all my questions and provided a very thorough estimate of the work we needed done in a timely manner. I took estimates from other companies but Mad Pipers was by far the the most responsive and for the large amount of work we needed done, they were also the best pricing. The job was completed by Zack and Ragen who showed up on time and were very professional. The work itself was a two day job. They made sure to explain everything that was completed. I was very happy with the work they did and as a result asked them back to provide an estimate for some additional (smaller scale) work I needed done on a guest bathroom (replacing old galvanized steel pipes with new copper pipes) and a master bathroom (replacing a popup & drain which was done by Curtis). I highly recommend Mad Pipers! I am so happy with the work they did and would not hesitate to call them again for any plumbing needs.

I went to Mad Pipers for a second opinion after getting a vague and uninformed assessment of my drain issues from a different company. Ragen and Zach not only took the time to figure out the extent of the problem, but they made sure I understood and knew what my options were, without pressuring me to hire them. I respected both their attention to detail and integrity so decided to hire them for the job. Rather than replace the entire drain system as recommended by another company, they discovered the problem areas where roots were growing into the pipes and were able to replace just the necessary sections effectively and efficiently. This included excavating and trenching the line from a tiny crawl space, redirecting the line to a much more practical location outside the house, adding gravel around the new pipe, reconnecting the line to the unaffected section, and complete and tidy cleanup of my yard, all in two days. I have complete faith in these guys and would definitely hire them again for any future plumbing needs.

He was there the next day right on time. We live quite far from any major town so getting someone to come at a reasonable price was difficult. His estimate was what we paid and it was far less than the two other bids. He unplugged the toilet without removing it which is hard to do.

They provided a verbal estimate and said they would get a written estimate to our contractor. They were great with the estimate process, professional, there when they said they'd be and came out quickly.

I learned which type is most common and picked a good brand and they did the removal of the old one and installed the new one rather quick. No problems at all, and no mess when done. So thanks for a good quick and quality job done to Mad Pipers.

I will be recommending this company to anyone who asks me for a plumber. They were sharp, punctual, professional, and completely on quote. These guys are smart and no-nonsense.

They did an excellent job and everything was done on time and with exactness. They work very professionally but they also had fun as they worked. The final price ended up being right on with what the estimated price was. They provided all the materials and they cleaned up when they were finished and didn’t leave a mess behind for us to have to clean up. They listened to us and to what our desires were and then they explained the different options that we had. They were very respectful not only to us but to our property. They showed up on time when they said they would be here and the project was completed when they estimated it would be done. We would definitely recommend them for any plumbing job you have, we will call them for any future needs we have.

My experience with Zack was fabulous! Phone was answered when I called, was able to set-up an appointment when it worked for ME, very knowledgeable and provided a very reasonable price. Our new hot water tank is great and we’re planning in using them again for all our plumbing needs. I refer them to everyone!

They were on time. They explained why the old water heater leaked and how they brought the new one up to code. I now better understand my water heater. It also looks great. I'd recommend them to anyone. They will get it done right, and only right.

They did a great job, we had some sewer replacement work done and a tankless installed. We love the tankless and haven’t had a single issue with our sewer since. It was so worth it, and they were quick and efficient!
