Work was performed satisfactorily at the time by James but I was concerned about a dripping sound on the ceiling below after the work was completed. I was reassured "it was nothing" only to have my ceiling below develop water stain and eventually a leak. We used another repair company who was working on our deck at the time and they discovered the toilet above wasn't re-seated properly (a seal was missing) and that had been leaking for months on to the ceiling below. We got the repair done to the toilet and the ceiling repaired but when we reached out to James he said he needed additional photographs in addition to the photo we sent and the information provided by the other highly reputable company who did the repairs. After some back and forth over email James sent us a check to cover the repairs and we appreciated that he stood behind his work.”

The project went very well from start to finish. Sione and his crew were very professional and always on time. We are very pleased with the outcome and would definitely hire Jay Construction again.

They worked very quickly, completing all the work in just 2 days. In general, I like everything they did and their price. Overall, they addressed the drainage problem, built new front steps, and fixed the sinking concrete all in one project. I do wish, however, that they would have consulted me on the front step height limitations before completing the work as it's been a little awkward stepping down from the front door. Also, the aggregate concrete finish isn't consistent throughout. It looks a little washed out in places, like the concrete mix may not have been completely sprayed out. I'm going to try applying a concrete sealer to see if it makes it look more even. Overall, we're happy with our new front porch, Jay was a pleasure to work with and the most competitive price. Just a little rough in places.

Jay removed, repaired and replaced the roof on a large shop and office building. Jay and his crew were efficient and respectful of our property. They kept the job site clean and stayed out of the way of the people who work in the building. They did such a good job on the roof that we had them build a mother-in-law type apartment and we got the same professional service and excellent quality work.
