Howard was responsive and pleasant to interact with. He was always on time and flexible in terms of the planned work. Based on the quality of his work I hired him to do additional trim work around our entry area. The additional work was also above expectations. Very pleased to work with him.

Howard provided a clear estimate, I picked out paint colors, he managed a sub to do the texturing (applying a skim coat to go from a significant and deep texture to an orange peel texture). We let a few days pass after texturing to let the mud dry. Howard left the properly marked paint cans behind so I could touch up dings down the road if necessary.

We thoughtbwe knew what we wanted,until Meeting Howard. He offered numerous suggestions that made our remodel much more complete. We ar completely satisfied,both with Howard and his subs. We would highly recommend him.

Everything went well. He was very responsive and did excellent work.

The infromation that he provided helped me to realize that I need to be more focussed on what I am looking for in advice.

They came and gave me a general estimate. He told me that he was going to work with the cabinet people and get back to me with a written estimate. However, they never got back to me. The person was here for four hours. He was a nice guy. I expected them to get back to me with an estimate, but they did not. He was on time though.

Howard was meticulous when it came to managing details. He was receptive to ideas from us and our designer on tile selection, etc. The people he engaged to do plumbing, tile work, electrical and drywall were first rate and he managed them well. The prices were reasonable as well. The work he did himself on the deck was terrific including his recommendations for the materials to use.

As a sales/designer at Rod Nicholas Finishing Touch in Bothell, I worked with Howard for his client's kitchen remodel. They worked with me on material selection, and our installers coordinated with him for granite slab template/install, hardwood addition, and tile backsplash install. He made sure all aspects of the project were covered and communicated the scope of the project with the homeowner very well. His attention to detail and quality of work was a welcomed addition to our correspondence and all aspects of the job ran smoothly. He develops a great relationship with his clients and no project is too big or small for his services.

It went very well. Everything was done to my satisfaction. The quality of the work was very good. Howard showed up when he said he would show up. It seems like he can do just about any kind of work in the home. He knows how everything works and can take care of it. Plumbing, woodworking, tile, repairs. Price was very reasonable. You'll find that he's chatty when he comes to give you an estimate. As long as you are around, he'll talk. But he's working while he's talking. Abslutely would use him again.

Howard is an exceptional individual whom I would recommend to anyone.We found him to be totally honest,punctual,cost concsious,and he has a good eye for detail. He made some interesting suggestions,some that we followed. He was very good with the sub-contractors.He does spend a little too much time on unrelated subjects,but the quality of his work makes you overlook that trait.We have no qualms recommending him .We are considering him for our next project,which will be a bathroom remodel.

Overall it went well. Howard is a genuinely nice person, and I think he's probably constitutionally incapable of doing of doing anything but good work. He identifies problems and offers helpful advice. In the case of my bath remodel, he identified existing electrical problems and made sure they were repaired. He's easy to reach and he stays in touch. And, his prices are very reasonable. A few tips for working with Howard: First, Howard loves his work and he has his own tastes, so make sure he knows exactly what you want and remind him about details as the project moves along. Second, if he needs to subcontract out any work (say, flooring or granite), I recommend hiring your own subs or dealing directly with the ones he recommends. That way, you'll be sure to get exactly what you want from them as well.

Howard is a delight to work with. He saved us money wherever he could, and referred us to other very competent people for parts of the job (like demolition) that could be done at a lower hourly rate. We wanted to do some of the work ourselves, and he had no problem coordinating with us. The quality of his work is impeccable. He is a perfectionist but still pleasant! He shows up when he says he will and is easy to reach. We will definitely be calling him again and will refer him to anyone.

The design and workmanship was all superior. He has worked with us for a long time. His expertise is with kitchen and bathroom remodels but he does glorious work with everything. It is just beautiful. I would give him an A+ if I could in responsiveness because after he does the work he comes back immediately if there are ever any problems.

Howard is FANTASTIC to work with. He's friendly, super clean and neat, honest, upfront about problems and has a total ''can-do'' attitude. He has done many remodeling projects for us and also built us a beautiful deck.
