Got Stumps?

They arrived on time at 7 am and were done by 11:30. I was impressed watching the one guy climb one of our incredible tall trees and how they were able to fell several tall dead trees. I am impressed!

No response. No service. Terrible experience.

Henry, the owner, was quick to respond and come out and give me an estimate. His price was better than the previous estimate. Once we agreed upon the price he said he could group my job with another job the next day. I came home from work the next day to find nothing done. I had to call Henry and he explained the other job needed utilities marked so he would get to my job next week. Wednesday of the next week comes around and I have heard nothing from him. I called him but was unable to leave a voice mail because his mailbox was full. I text him and he said they would be out tomorrow. They did show up and did the job as expected. The stump was not cut as low to the ground as I expected and I asked for it to be done lower. Henry said his chainsaw guy did the best he could without ruining a chain. I feel like he just wants us to pay for a stump grinding by leaving it that way. Overall, they cleaned up the site well afterwards but the communication should have been better.

No service done yet. I didn't want to commit many thousands of dollars without some idea of their quality and reliability, and if I didn't commit to that, it seemed that I was too small a customer to want to service. In sum, I still need an reasonable estimate for a smaller job that is less expensive.

Initially the owner was responsive after my call and came a few days later to do an estimate which he quoted would be around $1700. He also had a specialist with him since the trees were leaning into a large maple. He said he had an opening the next day to do the job. I agreed. Well it took much longer than anticipated with his men looking at the trees for over an 1 1/2 hours with out doing any work. I feel this was not explained very well and if you choose this company get a written bid. I spoke directly with the owner and he had many reasons why the job took so long and needed extra men. To him this was rare event and he was concerned with the safety of his men. Therefore the price was increased for the job. Good luck to you if you choose this company to do work for you.

I felt they were fast, and professional. Everyone on the crew was very nice, and they worked well as a team to make the job go quickly. They cut the limbs off and PRECISELY feld the trees. This was amazing! the trees were huge, and I was worried about the trunks coming down. The picture is of the maple, you can see how huge it was.

Got Stumps was prompt and very professional. There were 5 guys working there on this big project and they were all very friendly and efficient. They left the place clean, and I would use them again.

Henry worked with 4 neighbors to put together a day's work removing the trees. All the neighbors were impressed with the work and the cleanup. An additional neighbor had them cut down a stump while they were here. We all agreed that the pricing was fair and the work was very professional. All of us will use them again if we have future projects.

These guys are fast, professional, and just good people. This is my second job I had them do and was really impressed on how easy they make this look. They chipped about %99 of the Alders which was amazing since I don't need the wood. They dropped the Firs with extreme accuracy. They were also very diligent about raking up everything and cleaning up after they were done.

My impression when they came out to bid the work was that it was very high. They ended up doing what I felt was $200 worth of work, a small project. They trimmed a Leland Cyprus for us which looks good, but they didn't seem to do $400 worth of work.

Overall the service was good. Very professional and efficient. I would say the service was a little more expensive than I thought it was going to be. Including coupon and what I paid the cost was over $600 for a one half hour worth of service. Probably will shop around a little more next time to compare prices.

I purchase the $199 for $400 of service deal. The owner was very quick in getting back to me and giving me an estimate. The next day, his crew of four arrived on time and did an excellent job of bringing down the trees and removing the branches. I'd highly recommend them!

They were fine. They were nice but at the end of the day I think the coupon probably saved me only about $100. I think the price was high and the labor was a little too short for the cost. For example, for the tree trimming they would quote me for $500 but because I had the coupon they probably quoted me $600. It wasn't that bad but at the end of the day I did saved some money from the coupon. They were friendly.

The service was great. They took down three trees. They did a great job cleaning up after the removal.

Fantastic. The owner came to our home for an estimate and followed-up a few days after that. We were having our home painted outside so the crew worked their schedule around ours. After our home was painted,the crew came and efficiently cut down both the tall trees, then they used a shredder to shredded all the branches into bark. Afterwards, the crew ground down both tree stumps. I would highly recommend Henry Miller and his staff. This is a lovely family owned company. They are courteous,effective, experienced, professional, punctual, and well mannered. When we need more trees cut down on our land, we will surely call Henry Miller and his staff to help us out again. Highly recommended company

That turned out great. They cut down a whole bunch of branches that were coming over from my neighbor’s yard. They had about 4-5 employees out here working and they worked for about an hour. They were really nice, polite and even made some suggestions that I had not thought about.

They arrived on time, and started in on pruning a large Maple in our backyard, this was a large job and took over 6 hours to complete. Clean up good, no extra job for me, and they re installed the fence that they have to take down to gain access. Very please with the job they did.

We got estimates previously with other companies around $400 so when we saw the Big Deal we jumped at the opportunity to get it done for less. We purchased the Big Deal and they wanted to come out immediately to do the job. When they came to our home they brought a four man crew and heavy equipment that they brought for the job after ours. The owner's son told us the job would be $1,000 and then they did the work. I spoke with the owner who explained that the four man team and equipment got the job the job done faster, but the job only took two men. The other two men were just observing. The owner agreed to do some other minor trim work in an attempt to remedy the situation, but it was still way more than we should have paid. The owner and his son were both very polite, but we will never use them again because we feel we got taken advantage of.

They did a good job. They were on time and professional.

This worked out fine. They removed a tree from the property. Everything went as it should.

Originally, we wanted three of our very large Cottonwood tress trimmed because of their proximity to our house. When the four gentlemen arrived to do the work they were concerned about the two trees furthest from our house because they were too close to our easement power lines. They suggested only trimming the closest Cottonwood tree because of the danger involved with the limbs of the other two trees and the power lines. They cut all the limbs off the one tree and cut it down at least 40 feet. They worked very hard and did a nice job of cleaning up the area. It is not an easy area to access because it is on the easement and across a pond. They worked for eight hours cutting, hauling and chipping. They also cut down a small evergreen tree next to our house. I was a little disappointed that we could not trim the other two Cottonwoods but I do understand that the power lines were an issue. They were always professional and polite. I would hire them again to do other work in our yard since we are on a large lot which takes an enormous amount of time and energy.

The came the same day I phoned them to estimate they work. They spent alot of time talking to me and making sure they understood exactly what I wanted done and discussed various options to accomplish it. They provided a very thorough and fixed estimate on the spot. I felt based on our discussion that they would do an excellent job and that the price was fair so I did not compare prices to other suppliers. I agreed for them to do the work. they clearly marked everything to be done so that there were no issues the day of the job, this was great and gave me confidence in their attention to detail and quality. They came at the agreed time to do the job, they were very good about confirming and making sure the time worked. They showed up on time and did a great job. On the day of service I asked for some additional work to be done (removal of large rhoddy's) and they did the work for an additoinal agreed amount, I think the cleanup from this section of the work could have been better. Even with this, I would definitely hire them again and recommend them. They did so much work, had excellent communicaiton and were very interested in doing a good job. I think it was possibly just a misunderstanding about the level of cleanup on on the add on peice. If I have any more tree work I will definitely use them.

The crew was timely courteous and did a fantastic job cleaning up after the job. The down side is I specifically asked for the wood to be left behind and I was told it would be. When I got home it was all gone. My e-mails were not answered so that left a bad taste. If you don't want the wood then go for it...they will do a good job and leave the yard, roof...everything spotless.

Henry gave a very thorough evaluation of each tree on our lot and understood that we wanted a safety assessment for all trees as well as advice on how to maximize sunlight in our yard while retaining privacy. He spent almost an hour looking at our yard and was very knowledgeable. He was able to give a discount because the guys were already going to be in the neighborhood and performed the service in a timely manner. I had a slight miscommunication about wanting the stumps ground, and when we got clarification on that he was able to have the service done in a timely manner as well and gave me a fair price (despite the fact that they had to make a separate trip out!), the same goes for removing the pieces of tree trunk (which I learned most people keep for firewood, but we wanted gone asap so we could start landscaping). Everything went smoothly and we were happy with the service and price!
