ELITE TREE CARE

Description of Work: Brian of Elite Tree Service returned my email pretty quickly after the really big wind storm in early September. He came out and looked at what needed to be done, gave me an estimate, and began the work on time. I recommend getting a written estimate before beginning your work. Brian is a great guy and a good tree man. I don't think paperwork is his forte. Having a paper in hand will make you feel more confident. I had a lot of work done on big maple and cottonwood trees, including some bucket work. Brian and his crew did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. When I discovered some things still needing to be done a few days later, Brian came out quickly and did them. I would use him again.

Description of Work: He did now show for appointment, I left two messages. He never returned my calls.

Description of Work: They performed windsailing and trimming of large evergreen trees. Additionally they were to trim maple trees in the front yard. They did an excellent job on the evergreen trees. We had paid for fertilization of maple trees as well as the trimming. Services were to be completed the following work day. We had left on vacation. A week after the trimming of the maples was to be completed my daughter came to check on house and discovered that the maple tree work and fertilizer had not been done. I sent an email to vendor and had no response. I sent an additional email message a week later and received a response from that email. The vendor stated that they had difficulty getting a ladder of the correct height and that the work would be completed immediately and that they would also return in two months to finish trimming maple. The fertilizer was completed and some trim work was done but the vendor never returned as promised two months later. It now has been 3 1/2 months.

Description of Work: They trimmed a couple of big cedar trees that were shading our greenhouse. The cleanup and hauling alone were worth the cost of the service.

Description of Work: I had limbs from a Big Leaf Maple hanging over my neighbors' utility line and was pleased that I was able to use an Angie's list deal to have them pruned back and out of harms way. |Brian and his 2 man crew showed up promptly and took care of the matter. Description of Work: Wanted professional recommendation on some trees for possible trimming. Bryan did well. My only regret was not having a write down of the type of some of the trees I'm not sure of.

Description of Work: Washed all windows inside and out, cleaned all nine screens. They were late, but telephoned to let us know they were running behind. Windows sparkle. Work was done quietly and professionally.

Description of Work: He did exactly as promised and is a nice guy, which is why I don't want to give a bad rating. My only caution is that basically all this service entails is him giving him opinion of what work he would have his tree company do for your trees. Which most companies will do for free as part of a quote. I ended up having a second opinion come out for comparison sake and they gave me the exact same recommendation that Elite Tree care did...except for free. I ultimately had them do the work since they had a lower bid. Maybe he had an off day, but I didn't feel I got any extra information from this paid consultation, as I had expected by hiring an arborist.

Description of Work: I live on a fairly steep/awkward hill. They came and cut two small-medium |fir trees and hauled out the wood. Clean up was OK. And then, Bryan helped |me by pumping up my flat car tire enough to get it into the shop. I would |hire them again.

Description of Work: I had two mature trees in bad shape that I wasn't sure were salvageable, so I called Elite based on the ratings here on Angie's List. Bryan recommended a thorough trimming and a root treatment, which involved some serious soil aeration and nutrients. The team did that and also took down a failing Plum tree. The work was well done and nice cleanup afterwards. They really seem to care about preserving the trees as much as possible. Tine will tell how it all works out, but I'm satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: Elite Tree Care personnel were prompt and performed thinning, cabling and overall protection of two huge approx. 100-year old trees on our Everett property that had not been taken care of in the past. They completely cleaned up all debris. The process went well, completing it in the time frame promised.

Description of Work: Thinning and trimming, and checking tops for rot, on 5 large cedar trees. Removed all dead branches (a lot). Hauled away all debris. | |Climbers were excellent, but ground crew not that careful of other plants. Chipper created large amounts of dust which coated windows, etc.
