Brian was great. Very responsive to questions, showed up on time, and completed the work for the price of the estimate. We were very happy with this service!

The cottonwood was 15 feet away from my house and surrounded by expensive flowers and my pond. My yard is very well maintained and i was concerned about my plants and waterfall getting damaged. The end result was absolutely zero damage and a spotless clean up. I highly recommend elite tree care.

Brian arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled ready to go. He had an assistant, Matt, who helped him throughout the day. Brian did the pruning and Matt kept the area clean as they worked. The branches were cleared away same day. My previously overgrown landscaping now looks beautiful. The best part was Brian's willingness to teach me along the way how to prune on my own in the future. He was happy to work on his own or have me follow along. From the big cedars to the delicate Japanese Maples he showed me where, how and why to make the various cuts. I'm confident I'll not let the project go so long in the future. For the big trees, I'll gladly call Brian again. The whole process was a good deal of work, educational and rewarding. At the end, we found our home hiding behind all the branches; what a lovely surprise!

Initial job was for inspection and quote for any work needed. Bryan was prompt and extremely knowledgeable about what was in the yard and what needed to be done. Based on that I booked tree trimming and clean up. The appointment had to be rescheduled as they were having troubles with their truck. They called me in a timely manner to reschedule so no issues there. The $1400 quote was for a days worth of labor and the team was only there for approximately 4 hours, so not sure if I should have asked for an hourly rate. When the team was done with all the trimming they had forgotten their blower so they were supposed to come back and finish the clean up, that never happened. Days after the initial trimming there was still a lot of dead limbs falling out of the trees, some had been cut and not removed but the majority was just dead branches being blown out of the trees.

Brian and his two man crew did an outstanding job. They were very professional in every detail. He schooled us on what was needed for each tree or bush and explained why some of our the trees were not doing so well. My husband admits blame for their condition before Brian's evaluation and follow up professional care. Overall Brian and his crew were friendly and knew what they were doing. I have bad contractors before Brian who would cancel at the last moment or show up late. In Brian's case, at my request, he called me the night before the agreed day of doing the work and as I said earlier, he arrived on time. I would use his services again, with or without a deal through Angie's List.

He said he could be there in about twenty minutes to give me a bid on the trees to cut them down. He showed up on time and gave me a bid on what it would cost to do the job. I agree with the price he quoted, and he gave me a date when they could come out to cut the trees down. They came out on time and did the job and made sure that all the brush and debris was cleaned up. They also cut all the wood to the size I needed. They were nice and seemed to enjoy the job that they were doing. The crew worked hard and they made sure that everything was safe around the job site. One thing that I really liked was that Bryan was straightforward, no games. Great job - well done guys.

I found Elite Tree Care through Angie's List. I was impressed with how punctually Bryan called me after my contact with Angie's List. Brian, a Certified Arborist, came out to my home and reviewed all my trees and let me know what needed to be done. He also gave me a verbal quote at this time. Brian and his crew came out to do the work when expected. I was impressed with the care they gave my trees and the clean-up they did as well (they took all the branches, debris away). They used hand tools to prune the trees. The verbal quote was exactly the price I was charged. I highly recommend Elite Tree Care.

Bryan showed up with his crew and got right to work. They were efficient and removed all the debris when finished. Tips and why things were done were explained thoroughly. Highly recommend.

Elite Tree Care offered a $199 "Angies List" coupon for $400 work. I knew I had a large broken branch that needed to come down before it fell on its own and cause possible damage to our neighbors who live at the bottom of our hill. Bryan Petitclerc came to our home to see how we wanted to use the coupon. Because Bryan felt the scope of the coupon was more than what I needed addressed, he volunteered to include the removal of ivy that was growing up our large cherry tree before the ivy kills the tree and also agreed to have a dead snag of a tree on one side of our property dropped to the ground . The appointment was set. Chris Horton arrived during the scheduled time this morning and he went about the tasks on the list. He is a nice young man, eager to please the customer, and that he did, above and beyond. His work on the ivy was most impressive and it is a problem that would not have been addressed if Bryan hadn't added that project to give us the full benefit of what the coupon could cover. Thank you, Bryan, for your honesty and forthrightness ... you serve your company well. Thank you, Chris, for your punctuality, politeness, a job well done, and going above and beyond to make for a happy customer. Thank you, Angie's List! The work went well. Our trees were well taken care of. We have additional work we will bring Elite tree back to perform in the fall. Good experience worth the call!

Brian, the owner, did a great job. He is very responsive and knowledgeable. He had some challenges to undo years of bad pruning that I had done -- not knowing what I was doing. He showed up on time as promised and did a great job of cleaning up. He followed up by phone to check in whether I was satisfied with the job. I will definitely use him again as future needs arise.

Brian did a great job. I am a new homeowner, and I did not know the trees in my new back patio very well, nor how to take care of them. Brian came by on a Saturday morning, and while he pruned our trees, he gave me explanations of the work he was doing as well as how I should maintain the trees going forward. It was a much needed education in tree ownership that Bryan was more than happy to provide. I would highly recommend working with Bryan!

This is the second time we used Elite and again Bryan and his crew were great. Did a wonderful job. Went above and beyond by picking up some 8 feet tall replacement bushes at the nursery and transporting them to our house for planting and at no charge. Always professional, great service and very competent.

Member Comments: The services performed by Elite Tree Care, as always, was outstanding. The owner, Bryan,, quoted me a price earlier and as always the price when the job was completed was the same. The clean up was excellent, too. I have provided a description of what Elite Tree Care planned to do and they did all of them: trim all the crowns of the trees, trim the bushes including the flowering ones and reshape these things.

I called on a Friday, and received a call back on that Sunday. Brian came out within an hour. We walked around the yard and discussed what I wanted. He listened to me and advised me on whether to remove or prune several trees, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the subject. He then wrote up an estimate which seemed reasonable to me, so we agreed that he would be out in three days, on that Wednesday. On the Wednesday, Elite was out as promised, working in the yard. Brian called me to ask about clearing around one tree and pruning rhododendrons. I appreciated that he listed to my concerns and asked me before taking off more than I wanted. I explained that I liked the trees and shrubs as a screen from the street, and he accepted and worked within those guidelines. I've worked with many contractors, often as an State inspector, and listening, even to the client, is not all that common. I give Brian high marks for that. The crew of two worked most of the day in rather drizzly miserable weather, and cleaned up after themselves, hauling off all of the debris. Generally they were a polite and responsible crew. When it came to charges, they were as we agreed. I would be happy to call them again, and probably will when it is time to prune the peach trees again or I have other similar work.

Bryan was great and I would use him again in a heartbeat. Before we chose him, I got 5 or 6 other bids, all from arborists like him. He was by far the most hands on. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and did all the climbing and pruning of trees himself. Most of the other arborists came out and wrote up the bid, and then would be around to "supervise" some or all of the time. Although he had helpers doing clean up and more minor details he did the work himself. Our trees and shrubs had not been trimmed since we moved in and he did a great job improving their appearance. In particular the Japanese maple and weeping atlas (which had tons of dead branches and looked awful) that he pruned now look amazing. Some of the other arborists told me to take out the weeping atlas as it was dying. Bryan said otherwise, It looks great now (almost 6 months later). He really improved the health of our trees and look of our front and back yard landscapes. Also his bid was among the most reasonable. Pros: * very professional *great sense of aesthetics * no upselling (he even told us not to do as much work as we had requested as it would not be good for the health of the trees and bushes; and he told us to wait until the winter to do some of the work when the shrubs were dormant) * no scare tactics (like some of the others) * really knows what he is doing * punctual Cons: *There really were none

Everything went as advertised , they were here on time and did a great job.

These guys were amazing , I cant believe the way they get around up in those trees swinging around on ropes. They were so professional and did no damage to my other plants, and the clean up was better than when they got they're , they raked up all my leaves ! Very Pleased and will recomend them to all my friends and Neighbors !
