Wow, what a team! We were so impressed with their efficiency. It was pouring down rain and they had to climb way up and remove huge branches from the tree. Bryan, the owner is a certified arborist and provided us with important information about the condition of our trees. Chris was an expert with the chainsaw, while suspended from a rope and having to work from awkward positions at scary heights. Jessie was actually running while hauling branches and debris to the truck and all were involved in the clean up. They were amazing and we will definitely be calling them soon for additional work. We would highly recommend them. All were polite, friendly and thanked us for using their service. We give them an A+

I wanted to keep the top of the tree for a Christmas tree and the rest for firewood, and they obliged, cutting the branches off and cutting the trunk into manageable pieces. They arrived on time the day after Thanksgiving (we didn't have to take a day off work). We didn't attempt to remove the root.

Brian showed up exactly when scheduled, performed all the work we asked of him and cleaned up the area expertly.

Bryan from Elite Tree Care came out to give us an estimate and viewed our trees on Nov 26. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain that the services that we thought we wanted to have done would really end up hurting the trees and would not really give them any long term improvement in appearance. Accordingly, we both agreed that it would be better to defer any action for now. Bryan was very helpful and his explanations made sense... He could have simply agreed to do what we thought we wanted and taken the job outright for the full payment, instead he took the time to explain why we shouldn't have it done now. We would recommend Elite Tree Service without reservation to anyone.

I wasn't there when Brian came out but my husband said he was very knowledgeable about the service, but he explained he couldn't do the job. However, he didn't show up for the first appointment.

I initially called and left a message for Elite Tree Care on Thursday, 13 Nov. I received a return call the next day and arranged an appointment for an estimate on Saturday, 15 Nov. Bryan arrived on time and patiently answered our questions. He provided a quote and we arranged for services the following Friday. Bryan and his assistant arrived promptly and immediately began work. They top trimmed and leveled a group of narrow cypress, pruned a Styrax, Sorghum, Maple, Apple and Lilac, along with 2 flowering cherry trees. Although the previous homeowners had the trees pruned, the pruning was done more for aesthetic appearance rather than overall health. With Bryan’s attention and arborist expertise, we feel that the trees are in a better state of health now for the next growing season. Working in cold rainy weather, he and his assistant spent the majority of the day carefully attending to each tree. They removed debris from all areas and did a very nice job. Total cost was as originally estimated – no surprises. We plan to use his services in the future.

Bryan was great, very knowledgeable and on time for appointment for an estimate.

Bryan came out on Friday to provide an estimate the day after I called. By Wednesday at 9 a.m. he and his assistant were here. By noon the work was all done, with the tree litter entirely cleaned up. They took 35 years of neglect and turned things around completely, giving two trees new leases on a healthy life. These fellows were effective, efficient, fast and fair.

Bryan came to give an estimate on 10/21. At that time he said his work was scheduling one week out. We accepted his bid (very resonable for the amount of work) on Friday expecting the work to be done the following weekend. To our surprise, Bryan said his crew would be at our house on the following Monday (10/27) at 8:30. He and his crew of two arrived at 8:15 and worked until 4:00 to complete the job. All limbs were hauled off site and the rounds were left for firewood. Bryan and his crew were very efficient and took care of surrounding plants when removing the trees. Our yard is opened up now because of the great work Bryan and his crew did. I would certainly contact them again for any tree removal or pruning work.

Went well - on time, trimmed trees as discussed. Cleaned up job site well.

They completed the work quickly, safely, and left the yard clean and free of debris.

He minimized the damage that Evergreen Tree Service did on my Maple last year. Wish I would have called him first. Also trimmed a lilac and Japanese maple.

They provided me with an estimate the same day that I called. There estimate came in at a lower cost. They were able to do the work the four days later. The work was excellent as well as the clean-up.

I hadn’t contacted them until after I had purchased the deal. I wished I had gotten an estimate from them prior to purchasing the deal. They did what they said they were going to do. They were responsive and punctual. They cleaned up after completing the work and hauled everything away. The work they did was good. However, I felt that I had got the $199 worth of work through the deal, but not $400 worth of service.

The Elite Tree Care team contact me promptly and came out on a Sunday morning to review / quote the job. They showed up to do the work on time, were very personable and professional. My yard was cleaner when they left than it was when they showed up. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

I bought a house with 6, large, 40 year old crabapple trees that had been poorly pruned and showed real signs of real distress. I called Bryan and he came out and spent all day meticuously pruning them. He did a wonderfully artful job and I am delighted at how they look. The trees have responded well to his pruning. He cleaned up as he went and hauled away a big truck of limbs, leaving the yard looking great.

Bryan arrived when he said he would, did a professional and artistic job as he shaped each tree to its site. If you had not seen the trees before, you would simply think they were naturally perfectly shaped specimens with no dead wood in their canopies. He and his worker left the sites perfectly groomed when they were done. With the balanced and cleared canopies on these large trees I am confident they will be better able to survive strong wind storms as well as provide years of enjoyment with their beauty.

I contacted Elite Tree Care through Angie's List email and Brian promptly called back. We arranged a time for an estimate, came to an agreement and he said he figured he could get to it the following Wednesday. He and two other workers came on Wednesday as planned and did an excellent job. We will definitely use Elite Tree Care again and highly recommend their work.

It went well. They came within a couple of days of our first phone contact. The did what I wanted very quickly and did a good job of cleaning up the debris. Climbed up one tree to cut an overhanging branch. I was happy with the results.

We had a huge branch that was breaking and was an immediate issue. They said they would need a bucket lift for the job so they referred me to someone who had one. The person who came out then didn’t use a bucket lift and just shimmied up the tree to do the job.

Excellent work. A full day's work as promised and spotless clean-up. Very professional and personal. We received a full Arborist Report that was thorough and precise.

I contacted the provider, and Bryan returned my call within a day. He came out to provide an estimate for the work on Saturday, 8/30 - $900 - and said he could do the job on Tuesday, 9/2. Based on the other very positive reviews I saw for Elite Tree Care here on AL, I hired him. I asked him about the "$200 for $400" deal he was offering on AL, but he said you had to purchase it before he came out to do the estimate. After he left, I noticed he also had a coupon (not a deal) on AL for 20% off a job for every first-time customer, which we qualified for, so I printed out the coupon. Bryan showed up promptly at 9am Tuesday morning with another crew member, and got to work right away. They spent about 3 1/2 hours trimming 10 trees, and 4 rhodies, and removing one dead tree. After they were done they did a good job raking the yard, blowing off the hardscape surfaces, and removing all of the trimmings they cut down. The quality of their work was very good. After I inspected the work they did, I presented the 20% coupon to him, but he said he couldn't honor it, since it had to be presented at the time of the estimate. However, the coupon does not say that. The complete verbiage of the coupon said " Mention Angie's List for a savings of 20% for all new customers. A Certified Arborist, proper tree care is an investment that can lead to substantial returns!" I felt this was rather unprofessional not to honor a coupon that you're offering to AL members, and rather short-sighted on the part of the provider if he wants to retain us as long-term customers, and expects us to recommend him on AL, as well as to friends and neighbors. This would have meant a savings to us of $180 off the price of the estimate, not exactly a small sum of money, either. UPDATE: I emailed the provider, and attempted to resolve the matter with him directly, to no avail. I then contacted the Angie's List Complain Resolution Team, described my experience with this provider, and sent them the documentation they requested. Within a couple of weeks I received an email from AL saying I should be receiving a check from Elite, for the $180, which I did indeed receive a few days later. I appreciate AL getting involved and helping resolve this matter. The provider has also changed the wording on the coupon to be more specific.

They were careful and professional and removed all the trimmings. Bryan came out on the weekend to review what we needed done. He also evaluated our big maple tree and gave us a proposal for pruning and cabling it. We will ask him to return and do that work in the spring and summer. We are really happy about the work they did and our decision to hire Elite Tree Care.

We did a through walk through of the land and Bryan looked at all the trees and made suggestions. We then went to the house and wrote down the important suggestions.

I contacted Bryan in early August about coming out to give me an estimate on cutting down several trees and trimming up others. Bryan contacted me the same day I contacted him to schedule a time to come out to give me a quote. We agreed to meet on Saturday, August 16, at 10:00 a.m., however, Bryan never showed up for the consultation nor did he call to let me know he wouldn't be there or needed to reschedule. I'm not going to give Bryan an F rating because I believe that is unfair since he didn't do any work for me ... he just forgot or failed to show up for our consultation. I do realize that people get busy and things gets past us.
