 + 0 moreElite Tree Care is an excellent company. Every question I asked about my bushes and trees was answered. Everyone was prompt, polite, and unobtrusive. Some companies charge you to haul away the debris, but Elite gives you this service in the price you pay. Not only were the bushed trimmed, but the ground around the bushes was cleared. Even a few large rocks that were on the ground were placed to make the area look like a garden. I will Definately use this company every year.
Description of Work: Trimmed and shaped 5 large bushes in front of my house that hadn't been trimmed in years.

 + -1 moreI walked him through my property and gave him specific instuctions on what I wanted done. I showed him which trees I needed trimmed, which ones needing windproofing, and told him if it came between an Evergreen and a Maple, to trim back the Maple. He came out and started the work while I was not home, and when I came home I found that he had taken trees down that I did not want taken down. My propery is just not same now without the privacy of my large Evergreen trees. He broke things on my property without letting me know about it. I understand accidents happen, but he should have told me he broke my glass lights. Two of his workers didn't complete their job, and he told me he would come back and shape the tree that his employees left undone. I called him to schedule, I told him I just needed him to call before he came so we knew to expect him. He never called and never came back. He did however clean his mess before leaving my property.

 + -1 moreI had 5 enormous fir trees thinned and trimmed to prepared against a wind storm. It might seem expensive, but I am sure it is cheaper than removing a fallen tree that has crushed my house. This is the responsible thing to do. The crew was excellent...very responsive, on time, cleaned up perfectly, trained and knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, friendly yet professional, not a bother to any neighbors, and then he threw in the cleaning of my roof and gutters at the end as a bonus! This is my reasoning on why this was a great deal; tree care is not a luxury, it is for safety--much rather spend to have my trees healthy, my investment in my house protected, and my yard and roof cleaned and looking good than a midnight emergency call after a storm. Wonderful service.
Description of Work: Fir trees thinned and made safe for wind storms. Bryan was nice to give me an estimate on Saturday, then by the next Wednesday, the work was done.

Brian spent over an hour going over each tree and plant, evaluating the health of each and giving us suggestions on what was needed to save them and also gave instructions on what to do if we wanted to take care of them ourselves. We found him to be very friendly, knowledgeable and low-pressured. We would use him again and recommend him highly!

Description of Work: We purchased the arborist review through Angie's List. Bryan came out on Saturday afternoon and walked through our 1/2 acre property, even though we are out of his service area. His depth of knowledge was obvious and he shared a lot of advice on how to take care of the trees, from which ones should be removed to which ones can be cabled. And he shared advice on working with the county, and what they will expect. He also referred us to a local tree service that we can work with at our location.

Description of Work: We purchased an older home during this past year and in doing so, inherited some tree issues on our property. Being that this is the time of year you address issues of that nature, I set out searching for the right "arborist." Angie's list gave great reviews for Elite Tree Care. Both with their services and cost. So, I purchased the $75 Angie's List Offer to have an arborist from Elite Tree Care come out and look at our property and advise what needed to be done. Bryan answered my call within 2 days and came out the following day. Not only did he arrive exactly at the designated time, but as we walked through he gave his professional advise on the trees I was interested in and also advised on other plantings. When I asked if he would give a price to complete the job, he proposed a very reasonable amount that we agreed upon and scheduled the work to be done the next week. Bryan and his crew arrived at the time agreed upon and immediately went to work. All work was done very professionally. They came to work and that is exactly what they did. Not only did they do the work that we agreed upon, they even cleaned up all the leaves in the yard.

Description of Work: Bryan checked my 3 huge cypress trees for the wind sail effect and selectively removed branches all the way to the top to get rid of crossed branches and to allow open spaces between to keep the trees from coming down during our frequent wind storms. He and his crew also pruned an oak, some maples, a Katsura and 3 birch trees. He pruned my Dappled Willow bushes for structure and they look lovely now.

Bryan and a team of two others arrived promptly two weeks later, as scheduled, to perform the work. They worked diligently from 9 - 2, on the trees. Only ladders / ropes were used, no spikes. The trees looked great when he was finished. The team was careful to clean up the debris, prior to leaving.

He then sent me a written quote by email and we scheduled the job for a week later. Bryan's crew completed the work on the promised day. Not only did they do an excellent job but they also cleaned all my gutters while they were on the roof. It saved me $150!
Description of Work: Crown raised three western cedars with 10 ft clearance over roof on the side of the house only. Complete clean-up of all brush, wood and debris.
