Brian and his crew worked feverously for many hours cutting and chipping. They all knew exactly what needed to be done and worked flawlessly as a team. Whenever any extra work was suggested he talked to me and got permission to proceed. I would highly recommend Chandlers. It is a family owned business with the pride and work ethic only an owner-worker can provide.

Had a cherry tree leaning on our house. It was very difficult to remove without doing damage to our home. Brian and his crew removed the tree carefully and with no damage. They were on time and very professional. They cleaned up the yard and left it looking better when they came. I would hire them again,

The work went very well, and Brian and his team were professional and prompt. Their climber was very skilled and knowledgeable. I have utilized them in the past for smaller tree removal. Brian and his wife are easy to get a hold of and promptly return calls and texts. The tree was *massive* and the initial estimate ended up being too low. It ended up taking 3 full days of work vs the estimated 1+ day, which means it was very expensive to take down. Chandler's was up-front with their daily rate for the crew, and kept me up to speed when they realized how dense the branches were.

Excellent! We would highly recommend Chandler Tree & Stump Services, Inc to anyone needing this type of service. The area was inaccessible to a "bucket lift" so each tree was climbed, trimmed as needed then cut down. The work crew was meticulous in the way they went about removing each tree. After each tree was cut down it was de-limbed with all the branches carried to the chipper. Each tree was cut into manageable sections and removed as well. Safety was always a priority. After all the trees were removed the whole area was thoroughly cleaned up (by raking and leaf blowing).

FANTASTIC!!! Brian Chandler came out to make sure things went smooth, even with and injury. The quote was quick and very reasonable. Brian even ground a stump for my neighbor when asked.

The project went very well. Chandler's is a very professional service and were up front about providing business license and insurance information. This was very important to me since the tree that were needed to be removed were in locations that could potentially have caused some damage to the structure on the property. Chandler and his crew took everything down in a day and removed the debris. For an extra fee, the cut the trunks into firewood length rounds for me and stacked it all. They did a very nice job doing so. We had some challenges with the project but Brian assured me that he'd get it taken care and he did. I would definitely hire Chandler's Tree Service again in the future.

Brian and his crew showed up on time and set to work. They showed competency and professionalism in the way they did the job. I was very impressed with the way they handled the chainsaw. I never had any concerns with the way they did their job. Quick, efficient, and professional. I would recommend Brian and his crew to anyone.

Brian returned my initial phone call promptly and came to see my yard, making a bid on the spot. He was knowledgeable, made some excellent suggestions, and made followup calls (The process of getting some other bids took longer than I had anticipated--not everyone was as prompt as he was.) Brian's seemed the best bid to us and we liked his assurance that he would be on site throughout the work, since we knew it would be difficult. Brian and his experienced crew arrived early on the day we had set and got right to work. The care they took not to damage the house, deck, shed, or plants was impressive. They managed to drop branches between the wires so skillfully---amazing work! They even did extra work that was not in our bid and didn't charge us more. They cleaned everything up before they left.

A tree service we had previously used was not available so we called Chandler's based on Angies List reviews. Brian, the owner, was prompt and professional. The major job was pruning a very large double trunked cherry in my neighbor's yard which was both a mess and partially blocked both our views. This tree had been pruned, mostly very badly, many times in the past. Brian impressed me with his thoughtful approach to the tree to accomplish our goals while not causing harm, much more so than the other tree service I contacted. I liked that he comes with his crew and works along side them. He frequently checked in with us and listened to our feedback. He and his crew pruned from inside the tree, opening it up and making it look much more attractive rather than the giant gangly clump in had been. I also liked that they wore safety equipment, including helmets, ear and eye protection. I have rarely seen other crews do this. The other trees they trimmed also turned out well. Pricing seemed very reasonable for the number of hours spent. I highly recommend this tree service.

We had Chandlers remove one very complicated cottonwood tree and one more that was not as technically challenging. The difficult tree was on my neighbors property but we were having it removed. We had their approval to bring the chipper machine in on their property due to access issues on our side. In the end, this caused a little bit of rutting in their yard, due to the heaviness of the chipper machine. Afterwards, Chandlers brought in a truckload of topsoil and leveled out the property to the satisfaction of our neighbor. To clarify, the area of rutting was not lawn per se, but woodsy moss covered ground. In my opinion, this complication was unavoidable and handled by the company. For the difficult tree, there was a crew of 5 that worked very well together. First the tree was de-limbed and each branch had to be tied off, swung around, and lowered to the ground near the base of the tree., This was due to all the obstacles that could not be damaged on both properties. After the tree was topped, the trunk was cut into 16 inch lengths and each piece was pushed off to land near the base. The cleanup was very good. They rolled all of the rounds along the fence line as we requested. All limbs were chipped up and they even raked up our lawn so it looked like they were not even there. Very impressive job! The other tree was cut down by a 6th person/tree climber. He was instructed to make sure he did not damage any of the surrounding sequoia and cedar trees. He miscalculated on the angle and dropped the tree such that it did damage three trees. The owner, Brian Chandler had been deeply involved in the "challenging" tree and left the other tree to the sixth crew member. After discussing the unintentional damage with the second tree, Brian brought in another person who is working towards being a certified arborist, to evaluate the damage. He cleaned up the trees as best he could and ensured us they would grow strong. (There are 20 -25 feet tall, so they are better able to overcome the broken limbs and such. Overall, they did a good job. I now know how challenging it can be to remove trees in difficult situations. I will likely use them in the future.

Brian promptly came out for advice on which trees to remove and gave us an estimate. He and his crew did the work a week later. They were very fast, worked hard, and wore safety equipment. Much of the work was done in the rain. The eleven trees were down and completely cleaned up in a day and a half. They respected the property and minimized impact to the lot. The stump (from a previous storm) removal came a few days later and again they did a great job.

They were super responsive in coming out and giving us a quote and explaining what they would do. They were professional, respectful and did a fantastic job. I would definitely use them in the future.

Brian (the owner) arrived on time, the day I called to look at what I wanted done. He offered helpful advice but no pressure. The quote was fair so I hired them to do the work. They arrived on our agreed day, spot on time. The crew were very professional and they went above and beyond on the job including dealing with a hornet's nest at the base of one of the trees they were working on. The work was done quickly and efficienty, everything got cleaned up and they cut the firewood to my specification. It really could not have gone better. I am very satisfied and I will definately use them again!

We used Brian and his team at two of our properties. First, they cut down several dead trees that were very dangerous to remove. They did it without issue. Several other quotes required a boom truck rental to complete the same job. We also had them cut down several dying holly trees for us. They were on time, a pleasure to work with and did a great job cleaning up the tree debris.

Cut down a big pine tree in our front yard. Chipped all the smaller (4" or less) branches. Cut the bigger branches in approx. 4 ft lengths and cut the main trunk into approx 18" -24" rounds. Raked up the debris. All total it took them about 4 hours. I was surprised that was all the time it took.

Brian Chandler came out to give me an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He clearly laid out all of my options and provided a very detailed estimate. Brian's team came out and removed the trees (Brian was ill that day and couldn't be on site). They did a great job and left a clean site behind. The stump removal was scheduled for a later date, and that too was done to our satisfaction. I would absolutely use Chandler Tree & Stump again in the future.

The tree was about 12 feet from the house. So our first concern was for the safety of the house. Next was cost. Brian's bid was higher than the low bidder (who had done satisfactory work for us before). But the low bidder had a crappy attitude and p***** me off. So after talking with Brian we worked out a deal. It was $100 more expensive than the low bidder...but then I didn't have to deal with the low bidder's attitude. Seriously, some businesses think they're doing you a favor to quote a job. Brian wasn't like that at all. Brian's crew was professional, worked safely, and got a larger tree down in less time than the other crew we used before. We had the wood cut into rounds as were giving it to a friend. They did a good, consistent job on the cuts. We had Brian back a couple of days later to deal with the stump...and they did a good job. We would,definitely use Chandler's again.

Brian Chandler is very prompt. He came before the appointment time. Very personal and interesting to talk to. He gave very detail on the bid. Unfortunately his bid was very high so we did not choose him. If his price much lower, we would have chosen his company to do the work for us !

Everything went well. They did a great job, took care of some extra tasks, and cleaned up after themselves which I appreciated.

While in the process of having a fence installed we discovered our large Western Pine was dead and looked to be at risk of falling in the near future. I called a few arborists and Chandler's were the only one's that answered their phone. I was very pleased to learn Brian was able to come out and provide an estimate the same day. After inspecting the tree Brian confirmed our suspicions and recommended it be removed. Given we were in the process of having our fence installed we had to halt that work until Brian and his crew could remove the tree. Brian went over and above to fit us in and was able to remove the tree only two days later. His crew were very polite and very hard working. They had the tree down, limbs gone and the yard looking better than it did when they arrived in less than two hours. To look in our backyard you would only know there was a tree removed by the vacancy from where it used to stand. From start to finish Chandler's followed up promptly and communicated regularly. Brian explained the estimate thoroughly and made sure all of our questions were answered. Brian and everyone at his company bent over backwards to ensure we were satisfied in every way. Very professional, prompt, good communicators and delivered everything promised. Class act and someone I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Very profession and personable, with all work performed beyond expectations

There are many tree services in the Seattle area and I took my time to interview and get quotes from several. It is important to make sure they are insured and responsible and Chandler Tree and Stump came out as the best for the project. They also give a discount for cash which saved me money. The three Fir trees, each 90 foot tall or more and five feet at the base, were located at the front of a rather narrow lot not 10 foot from a street. Chandler couldn't block the street and they had to drop these trees whole without damage to neighbors property and shrubbery around them, so the trees couldn't be felled, they had to be first topped, then cut up in 10 foot sections which were dropped and cut into rounds by a crew on the ground. Chandler's office called the day before to confirm the time they would be there. The next day the crew showed up on time and started to work. They were a very efficient and friendly crew and even when their chipper broke down by 4:30 the job was complete and the limbs and sawdust were cleaned up. This was not an easy job and a mistake could have caused damage to not only my property but that of my neighbors. This was a very good experience for me because of the professionalism of Chandler and I highly recommend them.

I called Chandler Tree Service and Brian called me back promptly. He was able to do to work within a few days which met my expectation. He and his crew arrived promptly and Brian explained the job to his crew before he left. His crew was professional and worked well together. They worked 8 hours with only a short lunch break and completed the job at the end of the day. They removed and shredded large limbs and tree tops in tight areas with care with no damage to any structure. When they left, the yard was clean and all debris was removed. I was very satisfied and I would use them again.

Chandlers was not the lowest bid (but pretty close). We selected him based on his clear knowledge of trees, personal approachability, and his commitment to do excellent work. They did a first class job. Craig, the owner/boss, was on site and closely supervised the operation. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He checked in frequently with us to ensure they were meeting our expectations. They policed the yard and gardens (I have a very nice garden and yard area). The cleaned up the bits of stuff that ended up in the neighbor yard. Some of the trees were right on the property line and they ensured that no damage was done to any property. The crew was very skilled, quite friendly, and worked very hard. We could not have been more pleased.
