He did and excellant job. I do believe he is a perfectionist. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

They were very professional but our schedules didn't align so I used another company.

I was sure that it needed to be refinished. When Kirk cleaned the tub with the proper chemicals to get it looking like new he told me that for now the tub really did not need to be refinished. I am sure that this will not be the case for most tubs, he could have recommended the refinishing and I would have gone along but because he is a professional and has integrity, he did not over sell me. I will use this PROFESSIONAL service provider again.

Good job. On time. Cleaned up well only problem was tub became very slippery. Now use mat. But shiny and clean.

He successfully filled a couple of small holes, repaired the pits and rust stains around the drain hole, then sprayed it with his 'magic' bright white coating. The sink is better than new. He is a craftsman and takes pride in his work, which is excellent.

Kirk was friendly. He returned calls promptly. Gave an estimate over the phone. Showed up and completed the work when he said he would for the price quoted. Overall service quality and end product quality... excellent.

The refinishing process was easy and the result looks great. The only word of caution is that the great looking, fresh new tub is slippery!

Well, I called them, they came out at the time they said they'd be there, and they did a great job.

They were professional, fast, and initially we thought that they did a great job. But then a year passed - during which we took meticulous care of the tub (you can't scrub their glazes with most bathroom products, like Comet), and the finish started peeling away from the drain. Because it was still under warranty, we had them come out again - they re-did the tub for free last summer, and we thought we were in the clear. But we're seeing more chips / cracks now and have to think about more long term solutions. So in summary, I would recommend using these guys if you're selling your house in the next 6 months. But if you're going to stay in the house for a year or more, I'd recommend saving your money for a different option or replacement.

Everything went well, but I simply decided to postpone the work.

He arrived on time and did a very good job.

Kirk did a great job refinishing our tub. It looks brand new. I was truly impressed with the results. We initially talked on the phone to arrange the time and quote. He showed up on time and the work took exactly the planned 4 hours. There were multiple chemicals used in the process. Kirk did a great job keeping everything masked and used a heavy duty fan to keep the odors down. A few days after Kirk finished the tub, all I had to do was remove the masking and rechaulk the tub. We have used the tub for a few weeks now. It looks great and cleans easily. A few notes about bathtub refinishing. This process uses some intense chemicals. If you are sensitive to odors, you should stay out of the house. I suggest doing this before leaving for vacation. This will give the odors plenty of time to dissipate and the epoxy time to cure.

I had to have the old finish stripped from my tub because of a poor job that had been done before I purchased my house. I had discussed this with Kirk over the phone and he quoted me the additional cost of stripping in addition to applying the new finish. He arrived a few minutes early and was set up and ready to begin at the agreed upon time. After he stripped the old finish he realized that there was some additional repair needed and performed the repairs at no additional cost. He completed the job (even with the time required for the additional repairs) faster than he estimated. He was very clean and neat and aside from removing the masking tape and paper several days later did not require any other cleaning. Kirk provided outstanding service.

Their price was very reasonable. It was a good price. They did a good job. They came when they said they were going to do it. We would use them again.

Kirk answered all my questions before I scheduled the job of refinishing a fiberglass shower pan that had gotten very gray over the years and was damaged by my using the wrong cleaners. After I hired him to do the job, he arrived promptly on the date we settled on and went right to work. He was very professional and did a great job. I love the new clean shower! The only complaint that I had was that he didn't tell me the shower would have to be caulked after it set and either we had to do the work or we would have to pay him an additional fee to come back out and do it. Since we have a remodeler friend, we had him do it. I would just suggest to Kirk that he add that information in the original bid so there are no surprises.All in all it was a very good experience and I would recommend Kirk highly.

Kurt(?), the owner, arrived on time, but had forgotten that he was painting/refinishing both the tub and tile. However, it was no problem as he was prepared with time, equipment and materials. He did a fantastic job of masking before stripping/painting. The blower did a pretty good job of directing the noxious paint fumes out the bathroom window, but due ot the nature of the paint the smell did linger throught the house when it was applied...so just beware and crack some windows on the opposite side of your home during the process. The paint on the tub did have a few runs upon closer inspection, but was pretty well hidden due to the color of the tub/tile (white). The end result is that the tub and tile look brand new! Kurt says that the paint on the tub will last 15yrs and the the paint on the tile should last a lifetime, so we'll see.

Had the tub stripped and refinished, Kirk was courteous, friendly, professional, up front about costs - in short highly recommended. He did a great job, the tub looks fantastic. Highly recommended if you need a tub refinished.

I've emailed Advance Refinished to ask about refinishing my tub. It took a week for them to get back to me, which was fine with me, since I wasn't in a hurry to do the tub. We schedule a date the week after for him to come do my tub. He was prompt and the whole process took about 3hrs. Now my tub looks great.

kirk answered my questions and gave me a quote over phone. He arrived and finished the work on time. He offered me a free non-slip bottom surface as a discount for Angie's member. He had every tools and supplies with him. The footprint of the work was limited within bathroom. The new surface and color looks great.

He showed up on time. He was very competent and did a great job. He also cleaned up after himself. He provided excellent service and was terrific to deal with. My overall experience was very good.

Kirk was punctual. He did a great job prepping the tub and masking the area to avoid overspray. The chemical smell was controlled by a fan vented outside. My old tub has a new lease on life. It took about four hours work time and two days curing.

Kirk arrived a few minutes past his arrival window, but it was understandable given the morning rain and traffic from Everett. He advised us that the refinished coat would probably only last five or so years, given the fact that the fiberglass in the tub was cracking. We went ahead with the service anyways, as those were decent odds. My girlfriend waited at home for Kirk to finish the project. She would have liked it had he closed the bathroom door while working, as to mitigate the spread of fumes throughout the rest of the house. As it were, he brought an exhaust fan that he only used intermittently as opposed to running the whole time. She left for work that afternoon complaining of a headache. In the end, Kirk only charged us for the regular size tub refinishing cost despite the fact our tub was oversize. He didn't ask about the tub size when scheduling the appointment, so I was happy not to have any surprise costs jump up at the last minute. 48 hours later (curing time), I removed all the paper, tape, and painters plastic; I also had to cut out the hole for the drain with a razor, reinstall the drain cover, as well as the tub drain switch, neither of which I had ever done before but were ridiculously easy. After all that, I was able to admire the beautiful tub. I want to write new, because it looks brand new, but the fact of the matter is it's probably 30 years old. Despite the short comings mentioned above, the final product looks amazing.

Only minor problem was that the material they used to clean up the tub also removed a lot of the grout around the tiles the were on the walls around the tub. We needed to regrout those tiles, not realizing that was our job. Also had to clean up all the masking, paper and tape on the walls. He may have told us we needed to do that as part of the price we were paying, but none of us remembered that. Not a big problem and the condo quickly sold.
