We saw water coming out from under the washer. We called Ron. He looked it over and couldn't find any issues. We think we may have over-filled it. Ron looked it over thoroughly and didn't charge us anything. He will be the first person we call when we need work done, and be happy to pay the bill (if there is one).
Description of Work: Washer leak. Was over-loaded washer. We were not charged for his service. :)

I have contacted this company twice in the last year for quotes on projects around the house and both times I felt extremely disrespected. I tried them again as they were recommended to me but it was the same story. George came to the house to give me an estimate on work needing to be done and was negative throughout the entire experience. I had an electrician at the house working when he arrived and even the electrician was appalled at the way George presented himself. It was clear from the start he had no interest in earning my business. Not only did I never receive an estimate from him after he left but he tried to tell me that I needed to custom order the front door I was asking him to replace. I assured him it was a standard stock door I could pick up at Home Depot off the shelf and I confirmed this after he left and it is indeed a stock door. Needless to say I will be doing the repair work myself. I absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone.

We had given [Member Name Removed] an estimate back in 10/2015 for appliance installed. Never heard back on that work. [Member Name Removed] called again for more estimates. When George went to meet with [Member Name Removed] she made it clear to George she didn't want to pay for anything, she had her way of doing work and we have codes to follow. The door she was wanting installed would have to be made to meet codes and sizes. She was wanting everything for nothing. We have talked with the electrical company, they had nothing to say to her on the issues, never was ask. Just can't make all people happy. I know the laws and the right from wrong. We will only do it the correct way.

Everybody was timely, professional, and through. The problem, once located, was easily solved by my friend and they even instructed him as to what to do! I was impressed to say the least.
Description of Work: There was water seeping up a wall in the garage; they came out and inspected the roof and attic. When they found no leaks there causing the damage they inspected near and around the garage wall. They quickly determined what was causing the water to build-up. They then instructed my friend on how to fix the situation including making sure he could install a small section of drywall that would need replacement. When I asked them how much for the service call, they told me that it wasn't considered a service call unless they actually did something. They had spent a little bit of time here, so I was surprised by that response, but I have no difficulties using them should a future need arise.

This is the work I have done at this home. I have not done any fencing with {member name removed}. Reported smell in ducting. Inspected the upstairs bathroom vent, not allot of smell, mirrored could not see anything. Opened the metal vent into the floor joist area, could not see anything. Went into the crawl space and checked all the ducting, seen no entry points for rodents. The vent in the laundry room had a strong smell. Checked the furnace to see if something in it smelling, no smell there. Checked the outside of the house seen no open screens or holes burrowed underground. Checked inside of the garage, no signs of rodents or smell there. The refrigerator was making a loud noise running. Inspected and seen was in need of cleaning. Cleaned all the coils and motor. Front and back. Wiped down top of refrigerator and floor. Thank you for a review I didn't do any fencing.

Not real sure what this is about. We cleaned the refrigerator coils, 11/26/2014. When we left the home the refrigerator was cooling. Home owner called a few days later and said it wasn't cooling correctly. I did suggest other repairs. She said she would purchase a new refrigerator instead. It was one of our technicians who did the cleaning and didn't know of anything that was an issue. Technician remembers talking to home owner about getting up on a tall ladder inside the house and painting. Technician said to her, he would like to hire someone that would like to climb up on tall ladders. Didn't think there was a problem with that. If one of our technician or myself was being chauvinistic and stereotypical male it would of been nice to know then, not six months later. Home owner has stated her invoice was $150.00 that is not true, the invoice after tax was $81.53. It was invoiced 11/26/2014, second notice sent 1/8/2015, paid 1/16/2015.

Ron was very responsive and came out the day after I contacted him. He replaced the broken pipe and added a new faucet that I had purchased. A week after the repair, the faucet failed (part was defective) and Ron came right out to fix it. He purchased a replacement part and came back that same afternoon to install it without any additional charge for his time (included with the original charge). He is competent, friendly, helpful and always responsive. I would definitely recommend him!!

The issue had to do with ice building up around the cooling coils and spreading to the point that it froze the fan that blows the cool air into the fridge. He explained conceptually everything I needed to know in order to open the panel that provides access to the area I needed to investigate and explained the steps I needed to take (including precautions) to get it all cleaned up and find out if the blower fan was simply stuck by the ice or had burned out due to the ice. In the end, after melting all the ice and cleaning everything out, it turned out that nothing was broken at all and I'm back up and running as if it had never happened. Thanks Ron!
Description of Work: I woke up this morning to a refrigerator that decided it no longer wanted to be cold. I did what rudimentary troubleshooting I could from the front panel, but that did nothing other than confirm that it could no longer cool down and even though I had it set to 38 degrees it was just going to keep increasing to room temperature the more I opened the doors. I did a quick search online and tried calling some of the big name appliance retailers because I figured they'd be the best resource to find someone to help me. This was a complete waste of time as I was told that even if I wanted to pay the $120 they were asking to have my issue diagnosed (not including any parts or labor for the repairs; strictly diagnosis), I would still have to wait 15 days before they could get a service person out to my house. My wife reminded me that she had a subscription to Angie's List so she hopped on and found "Ron's Reasonable Repairs." Today is Sunday and the majority of businesses aren't going to be answering their phone on a Sunday, but that was not the case with Ron. He answered my call and rather than simply scheduling an appointment to come out and fix it, he instead started asking me questions about the issue until he had worked out what he figured the issue was. He explained to me why the issue happens and what needs to be done to confirm that it is the issue and what needs to be done to repair the issue if it is indeed the problem. All of this information was provided at no cost from a very friendly gentleman who then said he'd do some more research and get back to me. Now, armed with a greater understanding of what the issue likely was, I dug into my fridge and started doing the things Ron suggested and in the end he was exactly right and by doing what he told me to do I was able to fix it myself! I also now feel confident that if my fridge encounters another problem I have slew of things I can check myself before having to call Ron again, which I would absolutely do if I needed it. When I called Ron back to let him know I had been able to resolve the issue with the advice he'd given me he sounded genuinely happy for me and glad that my issue had been resolved. In this day and age it is truly refreshing to find someone who sees a person's problems as an issue that needs to be resolved over being an opportunity to profit off of their misfortune. Next time I am in need of any kind of home repair, Ron will be the first person I call.

Called Ron about a rental house I have that needed a new garbage disposal. Ron responded quickly, was easy to talk with, and I gave him the renter's information so he could coordinate with the tenant the best time to do the work. We discussed what kind of garbage disposal to get and then Ron picked up the new disposal at the store and installed it soon thereafter. The repair was done hassle free and the tenant is happy with their new disposal. I definitely recommend Ron for anyone needing handyman services.

I contacted several contractors to bid on the replacement of a second story deck at the back of my home and Ron of Ron's Reasonable Repairs responded by sending Court and Sherman, subcontractors. They measured the old deck, which was still in place, and created a drawing and materials list. Because I wanted to buy the materials myself and take advantage of a deal from Home Depot to finance the purchase interest free, the bid was for labor only. This was in late July. I was anxious to get started before the weather changed in the Fall. I accepted the nicely detailed estimate from Ron's Reasonable Repairs partly because of the detailed materials list that allowed me to go to Home Depot and just hand that over to order the lumber and other materials. When the bid was accepted by Ron, it was early August. I paid him a 50% deposit. The work was supposed to start in early October. I had my two adult sons tear out the old deck so the new one could be built from a clear worksite. A few weeks later I got word from Ron that Court and Sherman were swamped with work and would not be able to build my deck. Yikes!!!! This left me with a torn out deck to replace and very little time to find a new contractor before the rains of a Northwest winter made any outdoor construction questionable. I was outraged at this abandonment of a paid for commitment and I sent Ron an email letting him know that. He responded with an apology and an offer to refund my deposit. I got the impression he was as surprised by this development as I was. He said he would try to find another sub-contractor to do the work, and there began the happy ending. I was introduced to Joshua Hendricks, owner of licensed contractor "Rain In The Face Ent." Josh impressed me with his professional manner from the first time he contacted me to look over the job on behalf of Ron's Reasonable Repairs. He assessed the work to be done and picked up where Court and Sherman had dropped the ball. I can't say enough good things about how Josh organized this construction from the disaster it was. He started work immediately and laid out the job. He advised me on how to work through the permitting processing and spent much time at Home Depot getting my materials order filled and delivered and then refilled and redelivered. He was in constant communication about when he would be on site and any problems that arose with delivery of materials. As the new deck rose, I was very impressed at his technical skill in putting together the construction that surpassed code and looked great. He let me know every day what had been done and what was to be done next. If there was a problem he let me know immediately. In the end, the deck was beyond our expectations and I could not be happier with the outcome. Josh proved to be a detail oriented contractor who delivered his promises of a quality construction on schedule. When the job was finished to my satisfaction I paid Ron's Reasonable Repairs the balance of the agreed upon labor price, but I never got to meet Ron. I doubt that he even saw the construction he got paid for. I'm delighted by the work that was done, and I have to give 10% of the credit to Ron for introducing me to Josh Hendricks. The 90% of my satisfaction with this work is attributable to Josh Hendricks of Rain In The Face Ent. He can be reached at (360 ) 229-3141 and raininthefaceconstruction@gmail.com. Thanks for the good work Josh.
Description of Work: Built a deck to replace an older one that was torn out. The new deck was larger than the old one and built to new code requirements.

I have no idea who this person is. I haven't taken any new work for a couple months. If she called me back in June, I surely don't know who she is. I don't recognize the name or number. They were courteous and professional from the start, and able to support a short-notice request. Arrived on time, and just the nicest guy. The task was to move two elecctrical outlets and add a 3rd, add a cable line and outlet, and advise on adding a light fixture. While in the process of moving the outlets, he found a hidden problem in my wall, showed it to me and offered a couple of options. Decision made, he made the necessary changes, got everything moved and installed, and did a great job redrywalling where the old outlets were. He gave me several helpful tips on installing my kitchen cabinets (that was the next step in my project). I was really happy wiht the quality of work - the outlets all lined up perfectly-perfect. I expected the invoice to be higher than the estimate because of the problems in the wall, but instead... the invoice was significantly less than the original estimate. I am one happy camper. I highly recommend Ron's Reasonable Repairs.

The paint job done by two men was excellent. The house and garage doors look just the way I envisioned them. The men worked for three days, took few breaks, smoked a lot, cleaned up well and left the unused paint for me kto use in touchups. As I said in the above statement, I am still waiting for someone to rfeturn to finish the peeling deck with new paint.
Description of Work: The crew from Ron's Reasonable Repairs painted my house and deck last summer. However, the deck section exposed to the elements cracked and peeled. I have been waiting for three months for someone to scrape off the old paint and repaint the deck. The job the first crew did was excellent...they had to handpaint some parts of the deck that couldn't be reached with a paint brush or roller. I have no complaint about the work except the wait for something to redo the deck. I am selling my house and would liek this done ASAP.

Home was in need of painting and clean up as well as overhauling the deck where it was rotting out. Ron's team did the work in a timely manner with few delays or problems. All items went well with only one issue that i would have liked changed. The roof should have been washed first before any other work performed, as it wasn't the end job was a little dirty but no major issue. Ron and his team all seem very professional and were great to work with. I would use them again if they were close on price. We asked for a bid on additional work we are doing remodeling our bathrooms and their bid was much higher than the work should have cost so we are not using them on this part of our ongoing renovation project. .

I called Ron to get an estimate for some drywall repairs as part of a kitchen remodel. Due to other scheduled items, there was limited time to get the repairs done and painted (three days). He was at my house an hour after the initial call and within 45 minutes of leaving had my estimate to me and a scheduled repair date for that Saturday! The repairs were done on Saturday first thing in the morning, and Ron used some special materials so that I could start painting that evening. Great service, great attitude, and great work! I will definitely call Ron again for future drywall or other repair work!
Description of Work: As part of a kitchen remodel, I had to move the kitchen sink drain line and the electrical socket under the sink to accommodate new cabinetry. Although I can do basic drywall repairs, cutting around the valves, drain line, and other connections, and making it look good was beyond my skills. Additionally, I didn't have time for a lot of trial and error learning. The overall size of the repairs was probably about 15 square feet, but required a fair amount of detail work around various pipes, etc., and there were three separate patches involved.

I called Ron's Reasonable Repairs on Saturday and they came Sunday to give an estimate to replace our doors on the upper floor of our house. I had already purchased the doors and hardware. They came the next day and I also had three electrical switches that weren't working I hadn't talked with him during the estimate. I was able to fix the switches and then replaced all of the doors. They did a great job, was very polite and punctual for both the job and estimate. He also cleaned up any saw dust left from cutting the doors and offered to to haul away the old doors for me. We will definitely use them again!

Recently I had my 35+ year old painted dark brown with red doors. Plus, I had boards on my wraparound deck replaced. I was very pleased with the results achieved by Corrie Hardy who provided the painters and carpenters. The work was slow and steady, it took 3 days to complete everything. The men were here from 10:30 a.m. (approximately) to 2:30 p.m. (approximately) for 3 days. They were very thorough in the painting and deck repair. My house looks fantastic with the impression desired by any homeowner who wishes to put their house on the market. After all, the first thing most people notice is the outside especially the front entrance. Kudos to Ron, Corrie and his crew.
Description of Work: Pressure washed house, garage and decking, replaced up to 8 deck boards, raised one side of deck, painted house, garage and decking dark brown, painted garage doors and front door red.
