We hired Pristine Sweeps to do a chimney sweep, assessment and also a dryer vent cleaning on the house we purchased last month. While he was cleaning our chimney (original 1928 brick) it was deemed unsafe to continue (integrity of interior mortar). While we were disappointed in this outcome, he was empathetic and helped us process priorities and possible solutions (he did not charge us for any of the chimbey work or time). We then moved onto the dryer vent where he showed us how to best maintain it, waited for us to zoom to home depot to get a replacement part and all the while he was super fun to be around, kept his work area super tidy and onoy charged us for the dryer vent work. We will hire him this summer to do some tuck pointing. Great guy, great experience.

The owner came out to do the sweep and inspection but found that my chimney and firebox actually needed repaired so he would not be able to do the deal I purchased. My experience with him was very nice and lovely. he was early and very professional. I really appreciated that he was honest and didn't charge me for something he couldn't do. He was wonderful. I wish I could have used him to do the repairs but he is only a chimney sweep so I will have to find another company to do the repairs. I will use him again in the future once everything is repaired.

It was great. I had to pay tax on it. They were friendly, efficient and on time. They knew what they were doing. They were great. It was a great deal.

I needed some emergency repair to my fireplace. I thought the voucher would be a good way to save some money. The provider contacted me right away via email but the next available service date was a month or so out. I needed the work done immediately so contacted an alternate provider.

They arrived on time, and were pleasant and professional. We had thought we'd need a custom chimney cap, but they informed us that a standard cap would work well, and they had one on the truck. All told, the visit lasted less than 30 minutes, and they were done. Fast service, great communication, and they didn't up-sell us something we didn't need.

Arrived a bit later than the expected time, but did a great job when they got here. They were quick and friendly and did a nice job, we are happy we can use our fireplace now! The only negative comment I have is that they didn't wear booties, just walked on our beige carpet with their work boots on as they went in and out and back into our house. They didn't get any charcoal on the carpet though, so all turned out well. They also seemed very knowledgable and offered good answers to any questions we had.

They were very responsive, but they said they were booked until December.

The service man arrived punctually, cleaned the chimney and cleaned up after himself. He returned promptly the following week to do one more thing that was missed the first time. I would hire him again.

The work went well. Chimneys were cleared of moss and only needed work was done. Cost was less than estimated. Appearance of chimneys was important to us as the roof of the house is very visible. Aaron was very considerate of this need and actually lowered the front chimney by one row of brick, making a significant visual difference.

It was pretty terrible. They were just very slow in terms of communication and there was kind of miscommunication about that I thought they were going to be there one day and there was a mishap. We have them give us a quote but we didn’t go with them for the quote. The quality was fine. It was just the communication was the problem. It was more like not getting back to us and missing an appointment.

kevin and toby were awesome. the arrived on time, listened to my concerns, and explained the whole process. i told them i had never owned a home with a masonry chimney and the damper wouldn't work. i was expecting to replace it. they were honest and cleaned it. with some wd40 it was working. i also had purchased a topper from lowes. they told me it would last only a few years and they would be pleased to install it if i chose not to purchase the stainless steel lifetime one they had on the truck. went with the higher quality one.....very please with the work and plan to have them inspect it yearly.

They did fine. They were professional and very nice.

We were pretty happy with them. They were honest, thorough, and they were willing to cut a corner to save money. Their price was comparable to others. I was unemployed and so, we couldn't do it. We still have their estimate and as a matter of fact, I think my wife just called them and they said they would still honor it and that's been like five years. They still have the estimate and they said that they would still honor it 5 years later.

Pristine Sweeps provided excellent service: performed a detailed inspection, provided a detailed report including pictures from inside my chimney, fireplace, and attic, explaining very clearly all the details, and answering my questions. Lead Technician Andrew Wilt was very helpful and courteous. Overall I was very satisfied with the service and would use them again and recommend them to others.

So he didn't charge anything and said we didn't need the service.

They showed up on time and were very professional. I thought they did a great job. However, the one complaint I had was the cost of spraying a water resistant chemical on the chimney. This cost $400 and seems excessive given the amount of work and cost of materials that it takes to do the task.

Went well, didn't do the suggested chimney reconditioning since the problems seem to be minor.

Aaron was super easy to communicate with, even when I was being an annoying customer and handled himself professionally. The workers who came out to do the job were easy to communicate with, worked efficiently, and provided a good product--with additional chimney protection (that was outside the scope of work) at no additional charge. Their price point was also much better than the estimates I received from other contractors for similar work. Pristine Sweeps is definitely about providing a good product and putting the customer's needs first. I would highly recommend working with them!

They were really good and did a good job. They gave us a checklist with the fireplace and what they had checked and the condition of the fireplace and chimney system, which was good.

They cost a lot more then others in this line of work.
