Richard came to fix a burst pipe within 4 hours of my call in the midst of Seattle's freezing He was friendly, knowledgeable, businesslike and focused on fixing the pipe so that we could get the water turned back on. He worked on a fixed fee (agreed upon in advance) and said that no matter what he found, he would complete the job for that price - which he did. He insulated the entire exterior wall where the pipe ran, took pictures for me at each step of the way, and even did a few other small tasks to protect the exterior faucets and the water turn off. I would definitely call him again and wholeheartedly recommend At Your Service!

Richard really helped me out during an emergency burst pipe situation which happened during the latest big freeze. The major plumbing companies in the area where scheduling out a week or more.! In contrast, Richard contacted me shortly after I posted my plea on Angi. He came out within a couple of hours, quickly accessed the problem and figured out the difficult access to the pipe (connected to the main) that needed repair. What I learned from this experience, is that my 100+ year old houseis funky and requires the ingenuity and advanced skills of a General Contractor and not a run of the mill plumbing company. In the future, when my house needs some problem solving, Richard is the guy. He is very much "can do" and I am grateful to have found him!

Richard and his team did an excellent job installing two replacement exterior doors, along with window and door trim to the back of our house. The craftsmanship and quality were excellent - both on the carpentry and painting. Richard was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, and provided updates once the work started. The crew did a thorough clean up at the end of each day, and left the site spotless at the end of the job. I would highly recommend At Your Service Construction, and look forward to hiring Richard again in the future.

After days of trying to find someone to haul off a tree branch and repair my deck and fence when it fell, Richard and his guys were over within 30 minutes of me calling them to haul away the debris and provide me with a free estimate. He completely tore down my not-to-code dilapidated deck and completely rebuilt it himself while working with my insurance, negotiating with them to cover the extra cost of materials necessary to bring my new deck up to code. He went the extra mile to make my new fence completely escape-proof for my dogs, and even fixed parts of the fence that were outside the agreed upon scope of work to ensure they weren't a safety hazard. He was also completely willing to work with me within my budget as my insurance only covered about half the cost of the fence. Everytime we think up a new project for our house, or first thought is "We should call Richard".

Richard was able to find and fix a leak in the pipes in my crawl space. He took photos and video to show me the problem and provided multiple solutions. Then, he quickly fixed the problem. Very professional and personable. I would definitely hire him again.

Richard is a multi-talented individual in the construction and remodel field. He is professional, courteous, punctual, hard-working, knowledgeable and meticulous on the job. He is extremely competent. He said several times that he was doing the repair correctly for lasting results. I appreciated his work ethic very much. I appreciated that he cleaned up the work site when he finished the job as well. I lucked out in choosing him and will definitely hire him again for future projects. After another contractor flaked out on us last minute, I scrambled to find someone who could help us address water damage issues in two of our bathrooms on short notice, in advance of guests coming into town. What a relief to find Richard! He responded immediately to my inquiry, was out for a free estimate within two days, and had us scheduled to complete the work within the next week. He was professional, courteous, and meticulous (the quality of the work he completed was better than the original work that was done when the house was built only 8 years ago). He was also flexible with our requests, making a second trip out to reinstall one of our toilets on a separate day so that we could paint behind it easily, and he didn't price gouge us for it. I can't recommend Richard enough and wouldn't even consider hiring anyone else for handyman services in the future.

Fantastic work ethic, great attitude, was personable, and did the work very quickly. He is very experienced and I would highly recommend him. He promptly returned my call and was ready to work the next day. I threw on some last minute projects for him and he was able to complete them quickly for me!

At Your Service Construction replaced my deck roof that was damaged by a tree limb. He did excellent work, was professional, and thorough.

Richard worked on the exterior of my house to replace some damage due to water leakage. He is a craftsman and did an excellent job. He showed me what was wrong and the best way to fix it. He was honest and up front about the costs and presented me with all of his receipts for materials. He was honest with a task he did not not feel he could do and helped us find someone who could. We have worked with handymen before who, although less expensive, their work was not half the quality of Richard's. I will not hesitate to call him again to work on my house for future projects.

It is easy to book appointments online with AYSC. Beats playing phone tag. Richard and Markus arrived on time, gave me a fair estimate, and had time to stay and get started right then and there. I had talked to several companies about refinishing 1950s doors that were extremely sun-damaged. Others thought the veneer was too thin, or that I should get new doors to the tune of thousands of dollars, and then paint them instead of going with the wood grain and stain. The doors look great; Richard was very careful about the 60 year-old doorknob to both maintain it's original look and function, and also for my security. The longer he was here, the more jobs I thought of for him to do. He's even helping me make a hairpin leg table out of a piece of teak I had. He's a family man, an artisan, I feel safe with him, no job is too small, and he cleans up after himself. Who needs a husband when you can hire Richard?

I recently contracted with At Your Service Construction to assemble and install a 22 foot access Ramp. I found their did more the competitive. The quality of their work was excellent. Over the years I have used many service people to help with various projects and I would say that these two construction persons are some of the best! Here's why: On time with estimate and job. Courteous. Very Knowledgeable-about many areas of construction with excellent suggestions. They understood what my home is about and what it means to me and the financial constraints. Easy to work with, high quality work.

We needed some picture rail installed in our 1907 Ballard Craftsman home along with a small amount of mop board and bead board in the kitchen. Richard provided an estimate that was spot on for the amount of time it took and did a superb job. We would hire him again in a minute.
