septic tank
+ -1 moreActive was very professional; returned phonecalls, showed up at house when appt was made and finished job early. Estimate to repair our septic was honest and reasonable. In all, I would definitely recommend Active for any septic issues.
Description of Work: Had septic back-up issues. Service call 9/22/09 ($75), 9/24/09 Video pipe inspection ($275) and 9/28/09 finally to dig up & replaced approx 30' of 4" gravity tightline from the septic tank to the drywell ($1260). Active had to hand dig out our septic as some of the piping was located where machinery could not reach.

+ -1 moreActive Underground replaced the septic pump. Originally I had A plus out of Olympia come in and give an estimate. A plus was $2,767.39 for the same job. Not only was it over $1,400 higher I received numerous calls pressuring us to do the work. Thank God for Active Underground. I worked with James Medcalf who was able to give me a ball park over the phone when I provided him the proper information, pump model, GPM rate, etc. he was able to provide a very reasonable estimate. We arranged for James to come out and install it. He was on-time very professional, and you could see his work was meticulous. He explained what was going on so a lay person like me could understand. If I could recommend him higher I would. For what A plus wanted to charge, I could buy two pumps. Active Underground came recommended HIGHLY from our County Health dept. along with several others. I can see why they were on the list. I would recommend them to anyone that has Septic problems.
Description of Work: Had a septic pump go out. Needed to get a estimate to repair it. Thank God I did not go with the first estimate. Active Underground was Honest, Fair and Professional.
