I originally hired Whitetail Construction because their cost estimate to rebuild my porches and repair a section of my fence was the most reasonable of the contractors I contacted. Matthew Blackmore did superior work on both projects, but what impressed me most was his commitment to the time schedule he outlined for completion of both projects. He kept me current on when his crew would arrive for work and completed both projects on time. I highly recommend Matthew and Whitetail Construction.

Beyond terrible work! Three men to replace and build two doors and replace old boards on a barn. The work was extremely shoddy. Boards not measured correctly, roofing removed and not put back until I noticed it. Nails and debris left all over property. Nails put in doors still sticking out and was injured today while working in the barn. I discussed with owner each day what I saw as problems and each day the owner was going to make things “right.” At one point owner suggested sarcastically that I use plastic and duct tape to repair one of the doors. I finally asked them to leave. I picked up all the debris and hauled to the dump and used a magnet roller to attempt to get all the nails up in my driveway and horse paddocks. I have tried to reasonably negotiate with the owner and I only received insults.

After trying multiple deck quotes from contractors who wouldn't follow-through, give a quote, I was shocked and so pleased how Matthew and his team were absolutely on top of it. Not only was he first to respond within minutes of posting our deck bid on Angi's list, he came to see the deck for a quote within days, was super professional in letting me know if there would be in any delay, got the quote to us on time (not like weeks later) as promised (vs ghosting us) and best of all--made the project as bidded in 2 days. Our neighbor's deck job that was supposed to take 2 weeks took 3 months--it was delightful to have it all done and ready immediately. I appreciate especially that we ran into pandemic issues of supply chain and even with that snafu and resulting higher bid, there was so much integrity with which Matthew dealt with the situation being very transparent, honest, and upfront about our options. We took the higher bid, and are very very happy with the result. I HIGHLY Recommend Whitetail Construction as a company who has a high level of integrity (RARE in the contracting industry), quality, and professionalism. A pure pleasure to work with. They've converted me from a skeptic that a decent contractor exists to yes, they do and Whitetail is one of them. Thank you Matthew and team!

Matthew was on site when he promised and actually completed project ahead of schedule. Matthew was very conscientious and informative regarding material deliveries. Very happy with work done.
