+ -1 moreMy PC is up and running, with everything restored! I left the tower with Ken, and within a few hours, was able to pick it up. I am so grateful to find someone locally that is so responsive, professional, reasonably priced, and technically knowledgeable.
Description of Work: My PC was not operable, and I thought it would have to be replaced. I found the Solution Centre on Angie's List and took the tower to Ken Brown, owner, who was able to provide service the same day.

+ -1 moreBecause I am not technically oriented and never will be, I allow remote access to my computer. All I have to do when I encounter a problem is send him an email and Voila ! It's resolved !

+ -1 moreI called Ken and took the computer over the same day. By morning he had it fixed and running smooth. Over the years he has been a big help when I change computers or have a problem. He is very knowledgeable and honest, and he gets the work done in a timely manner. I highly recommend his work.
Description of Work: Cleared a virus and cleaned up the hard drive so it could run faster.

+ -1 moreHe is very reasonable in charging because he breaks the hour down in to 10-15 minute increments for the bill. And he just charges $5.00 per month for remote services for keeping the computer running smoothly. Or buy for six months at a time. Great deal not to worry about. He helped by dealing with all the bugs or add ons that came with downloading anything from the store or the net or Window downloads. We are able to communicate through e-mail and he answers all my questions promptly in writing, I am so glad, I forget often and I can keep his answers in my e-mail folder. I have been very satisfied with all he has done.
Description of Work: Mr. Brown took my computer home with him to make sure it was clean of bugs, etc. Made it so he could remotely check it. He helped me by getting me a site to get parts for upgrading my computer and the DVD and CD player/writer, and placing these items in the tower. He has given me advice on helping me with different problems with changing over to Window 8.1, He has taken a great load of my shoulders and I don't worry about viruses and such.

+ -1 moreMy system is working great. If I have a problem I call The Solution Centre and a senior engineer signs on my system with me and corrects the problem. Normally this takes less than 5 minutes. The billing for additional support is based on the actual time spent billed in tents of an hour. I am very pleased with the service and functionality.
Description of Work: This is the fee of the remote monitoring and anti virus agreement.
