+ -1 moreTheir bid was $6390.00 - again, I did not hire them.
Description of Work: We called four different roofing companies to bid on a new roof for our small barn. Mike and Shawn from The Home Depot came out on time and were personable. We didn't go with The Home Depot for a number of reasons. One was price, they were $3000.00 more than the other three roofing companies. Two, they subcontract out the job - I had no idea who would be doing the work (I lived in California for many years and in my opinion and from past experience;the homeowner ends up with unskilled, undocumented workers). Three, the bid was a separate process from those who would be doing the actual work. In my opinion, that is seldom a win-win situation.

+ 0 moreWell this time when I painted my home I'd have to say that Home Depot has improved greatly in their customer service. The last time I went I couldn't find anyone when I needed help, but I went there because the price was right. This time throughout the store people were offering to help find something if I needed help. They really have improved their customer service. Their prices are competitive especially if you can get something on sale and then it's really a good deal. The paint I chose was very good and it covered in one coat and that's what I wanted. The people at the Home Depot Sequim store were very professional and they know what they are talking about and where things are located.
Description of Work: I bought exterior paint.
