Description of Work: Ordered Roman shades for our kitchen, dining room and living room. They were wrong, not what we ordered. Sales rep said she wonders if we have memory issues due to our age. They refused to admit their error or come to a fair resolution. The sales rep was unfriendly, rude, abrupt and talked over us. The owner defended her and supported her dishonesty. The owner never contacted us by phone per our request. She avoided the whole problem. Buyer beware if you choose to use this vendor. Take pictures of your sample and color before the sales rep leaves. You will be held accountable even if the sales rep is wrong. Protect yourself.

Description of Work: New window covering installation

Description of Work: Beth came out to our home ready to do business. She listened carefully to our needs and budget constraints. She was particularly sensitive to the circumstances surrounding our call for her services. My stepmother had passed in early April. My father, who suffers from dementia, had been completely dependent on her for all things. During the time that the health of both father and stepmother had grown progressively worse, the condition of their home had also worsen. By the time we called in Beth for her services we had just finished a deep cleaning of the home by ServPro. The family was working the home to a habitable condition under severe financial constraints. We asked Beth for vertical blinds that were both economical and durable on seven windows. She showed us exactly what we needed. She did not resort to aggressive up-selling sales tactics. She understood the sensitivity of the situation and responded appropriately. She gave us a deep discount, which we greatly appreciated. When the installer, Justin, arrived on 13-May, he too was ready for action. He was well-organized and efficient in his work. He was continuously in motion, paying close attention to the task at hand and the space around him. He was careful to clean up after himself as he went. Also, Justin was an interesting conversationalist. We had time to discuss a range of topics on which he had some illuminating thoughts. He listened as well as he spoke. I learned in our conversation that Justin is a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afganistan. Many of his views were shaped by his service to his country. I also learned from a conversation from his supervisor that Justin had become a father the weekend before his installation. He shared some thoughts about sleep deprivation as well.
