This has been a HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!!!!!!!! I gave him a 15,000 dollar deposit for materials. Most of the materials are not on the site. Evidently he lost his account with the supplier, spent all my money and now does not return calls. He started this job over two months ago and has worked a total of 2 days! When my job supervisor went to his home to speak with him he got angry when confronted with the issues we have with him, his lack of communication and lack of work accomplished. We caught him in a lie, as he kept saying the skid steer he was renting was not available (this in itself is a red flag that he doesn't own a skid steer!). We called today and it is available! Please everyone, whatever you do do not hire this man. He is a scam artist, perscription drug user and total sociopath. I most certainly will lose thousands of dollars, not including the time lost on the project, lost income and time spent dealing with this guy. Not to mention the cost of the materials not yet at the site and attorneys fees. I will do what I can legally to put this guy out of business, and have his contractors license revoked. I am calling his insurance company now, and will be contacting the state of Washington today to determine what action can be taken. I'm meeting with my attorney Monday afternoon. WARNING!!!!!!!! Spread the word. This guy is a scoundrel!!!!!!! A thief and a drug addict!

It was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and continues to be. We first spoke with Chris in February to get an estimate to extend an existing chain link fence. He seemed very personable at the time and contract was signed. The fence was not difficult, two "L" shaped extensions which attached to an existing chain link fence, 192' of 5' chain link, two gates, and open at the end to attach to dog kennels. We paid a $1600.00 deposit in March 2014. Chris showed up fairly quickly and dug post holes. That's when things went south. It took him more than two months to almost finish the job. There were numerous phone calls to him asking when we could expect him to set the posts, then numerous calls to ask when we could expect him to string the fencing, then numerous more phone calls to ask when he would put in the top rail. He NEVER answers his phone, nor does he return phone calls. When he finally showed up in May to put up the top rail, he had any number of excuses as to why he had been so slow ("my cousin had a stroke and almost died," "I had my license temporarily suspended because of a bogus lawsuit," etc). I paid him the final $900.00 May 16, 2014 and the next day noticed there was no tension wire at the bottom of the fence. I have large dogs and tension wire is a must (actually, it is my understanding that tension wire in a residential fence is the norm). Thus began the phone calls. Dozens upon dozens of phone calls, none of which were ever returned. He did call back one time and told me he had the tension wire on his truck and could probably swing by that weekend. That was last September or so. But I have not seen him nor heard from him. So here we are, 15 months later. He has been paid and my fence still does not have tension wire. I grew weary of calling and leaving messages, most of which were quite pleasant ~ "Hey Chris, it's the bloodhound lady just wondering when you'll be coming over to string the tension wire. Talk to you next week." I finally stopped calling, which is what I'm sure he was hoping for. So now I'm outside working in my yard, and my biggest dog, my search and rescue dog, has his nose pushed under the new fence. This is not the first time. So I will again start calling and asking him to please come string the tension wire. The bottom line is DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Worst business practices I have EVER experienced with ANY contractor. He will not finish the job, even if you ask nicely, beg, and/or threaten lawsuits (which is apparently my next recourse). Save yourself the grief. Hire someone else, even if it's a little more spendy. It's not worth the couple hundred dollars you will "save."

Job not done the way expected or asked for but was as good as it was probably going to get. Entrance gate needed to be fixed correctly almost immediately after job was done.

Angry when told about deficiencies. Quality of gate work very poor until threatened with non payment of balance owed. Did not do adequate cleanup. Took forever to complete a relatively small job. Finally finished a satisfactory job but a real hassle.

He came when he said he would, was done in two days. Within a few months the gate was coming loose off hinges Within 6 months it had broke off and cracked. I called him several times during this and he promised each time ho would come back out but never did. Eventually the gate broke off. the wood split. Also, the hinges were put up so high I cuold not reach them. I had to have someone else replace the gates, but the cracked wood can not be replaced. The whole fence is not level. Its looks awful. When installing hinges for gates to hang he did hot use enough screws, on some he used one.
Description of Work: called to have bid on fence in yard for dogs. He came out with an estimate, I hired him soon after that. He got the job done in two days with a helper. Two gates were installed. The area was 35 by 40 feet.(app)
