Got an estimate but could never get them to call back to hire them.Would still have them do the work if they'd ever answer the phone or return messages because apparently most fence guys in Sequim are the same way!

Kevin met me at my new home purchase to measure and give me a bid on some fencing. Due to the large acreage, I talked to him about what some people call "cattle fencing" and also some cedar privacy fencing, or chain link. It took a couple of calls to get the bid and after I agreed to it, he said he would send me the contract. I then decided that there were a couple of things I needed to change and talk to him about before the work. I called him and we discussed that and he said he would put me on the schedule and would send the contract. I never heard from him again. We talked about the work beginning the first of October, but he did not send the contract call me or explain any situation. He just ignored me. As he only lives a short distance from where I live, he could have dropped by at any time to explain his situation if he had lost my phone number. Nothing. I think from the other review which occurred about the same time Kevin might pick and choose his work, or can't schedule properly. Or may not like to work that much on one large project. He lacks business acuity and professionalism in that he can't communicate properly.

Kevin was very punctual and arrived exactly when he promised to look at the prospective job. It took a gentle reminder before we got the estimate by e-mail but it was very reasonable and we had a good feeling about the future success of the project. Kevin is a very busy man and it took a while and several e-mails to finally get the installation date nailed down. Kevin and his crew were on time and arrived as promised. We have a beautiful fence and our dogs are delighted that they finally have a yard to run in again.

Wow! Kevin did most of the work himself - He worked us in weather permitting and finished up faster than we expected. Several of the corners were on slopes and adjoined other fences, so he had to do some creative framing to give us a quality fence. Kevin is reliable and responsive and has been building fences for years - - He knows his stuff! Based on what he did for us, a neighbor stopped by and hired Kevin for a gate repair job down the street. We intend to hire him to do another project in 2014.
