Description of Work: Don did a great job on my unique hard-to-find-service-for gas stove. Drove a ways to get to me too.

Description of Work: We used Guaranteed Appliance Service and Repair for repair of our washing machine a couple of years ago. Dawn Avery was our contact person.

Description of Work: I had had a new refrigerator installed by Sears the week prior and the icemaker was not producing ice even though the installer stated he DID turn on the water to the icemaker line. I had someone from Avery come out to check out the problem, which ended up being the water to the line was NOT turned on, which he discovered after pulling out the fridge and going behind it and unhooking the line. With my help he had difficulty pushing the fridge back into place. I emphasized multiple times to be very careful to not rip my brand new expensive vinyl flooring, but after it not budging he sat on the floor and used his legs to push the fridge back into place. A week or so later I discovered there was a large rip in the flooring AND dents on the front of the fridge from him pushing with his feet that had boots on them. I figured it couldn't have been the first time he had trouble getting a fridge back into place and could have figured out a better way. Again, all he did was pull out the fridge, unhook the line, turn on the water to the line and push back the fridge, a total of about 10 minutes and charged $50. I know I'm not supposed to mention another company, but my usual appliance repair guy was on vacation at that time, and he does not charge anything if the problem is not fixable and I'm sure he wouldn't have charged me for turning on the water line.
